"If it's the affection they're giving me, I can return it to you," she said with exaggerated sweetness.
Zhao Yan shot her a suspicious glance.
"I mean it," Hua Jing continued, her tone light and teasing.
"I'll go back there right now and tell them, 'The prince doesn't like you being so good to me. You should be good to him only.' I'm serious! I'll do it."
