"I hope everything is ready and perfect" said a lady named Madam Rosa who appeared to look mean and grumpy. There's a lot of noise in the scene as alot of people had gathered outside. "Yes ma" says her secretary. It was a rowdy atmosphere as it was the day of the slave trade. Among the people set up for slave trade was Bridgette. Bridgette was a beautiful and petite girl. She was sold to the slave traders by her wicked uncle and aunt who despised her and now she would be sold to someone else to be their slave. Bridgette was very scared on this day, she was adorned and put in beautiful clothes. Bridgette watched as other girls were brought out on the stage like a pile of nothing and were sold like they weren't human beings but animals. The person with the highest bid would take the slave. As time passed, it grew nearer to her turn which made he heart pound with every single second.
               Soon it was her turn she struggled with them not wanting to go out but she was pushed out by Madam Rosa. Bridgette could feel her heart jumping out of her chest when she was sent up to the stage as everyone had their eyes engrossed on her. The bidding then commenced the fist man stood up "100,000" another stood up "300,000". Immediately another came up "700,000", another raises their hand up "1,000,000". After this no one else had their hands up so madam Rosa she decided to give Bridgette off to the man who looked like a rascal but one more hand came up saying "10,000,000" everyone was dumbstruck when they heard this and looked back to see the person who had bid so high. It was a refined gentleman who had a smile on his lips. Every other person who wanted Bridgette were angry at him and started swearing at him. Madam Rosa was happy about such a high bidding that she dragged Bridgette herself to the carriage of the refined gentleman even though she wasn't eager to go with him. He shakes hand with Madam Rosa and takes his leave. The gentleman enters to see the angry Bridgette who didn't want to say to him. He formally introduces himself to Bridgette "My name is Clifford, I'm the butler of the current king of Serene and you". Bridgette was not still willing to say anything just holding her hands together placing them on her lap which makes Clifford to Chuckle. It was all a moment of silence till they got to the Palace as Bridgette refused to say anything throughout the journey.
                 Soon it was evening and they finally reached the Palace, here is when Bridgette started to worry for herself cause she was in the Palace of no one else but the king.
