Every time a weapon is Upgraded, its powers and skills will also increase in power and damage delt and so to items giving a user a boast in strength making their efforts to upgrade their weapons worthwhile! 

Yet a weapon's rank can't be upgraded to the next main rank, for example, a Basic weapon couldn't become an awakened weapon, unless...

Embers (The Beginning)

Core Concept: The Spark awakens their potential and leads to the formation of their Ember Core. Each rank represents their progress in solidifying their race and abilities.

Ranks:

1. Rank 1: Ignited – The Spark awakens; abilities and race traits emerge but remain unstable.

2. Rank 2: Awakened – Their abilities stabilize, and they gain minor mastery over their Ember Core.

3. Rank 3: Flared – The Ember Core strengthens, granting enhanced abilities and race-specific traits.

4. Rank 4: Blazing Core – The Spark's influence ends as the Ember Core fully forms, completing their transformation.

2. Kindled (The Growth)

Core Concept: They refine their powers, mastering their abilities and becoming significantly stronger. This phase is about training, combat, and skill development.

Ranks:

5. Rank 5: Seared – Basic proficiency in using their abilities effectively in combat.

6. Rank 6: Tempered – Powers grow stronger, and they begin to understand advanced techniques.

7. Rank 7: Burning Soul – Abilities become devastatingly powerful, marking them as a force to be reckoned with.

8. Rank 8: Infernal Ascendant – Full mastery at this stage, with near-perfect control over their abilities.

(You don't have to remember those rank names just remember that, there are 4 rank/levels for each Main Rank)
