Pleased with the arrangement, Luke cleared his throat emphatically, drawing the spiders' attention. Reluctantly, the three began their work of extracting souls, a ghastly yet speedy act that left not even the wreck of the victims.
Luke plunged back into the fray, bounding here and there from Kraken to Kraken with the dexterity of a shadow dragon. With every jump, another webhold sprang from his hands over the expanse of the river where the spiders reigned supreme.
Shortly, a dozen plus webs had bloomed forth in a motley array, littering the water; within, the half-conscious Krakens awaited their doom.

Sure enough, Morgan Jones hovered nearby, his face set in grim determination.
