Alchemy did her best to stand from the rubble, her eyes becoming bloodshot.
"Why… Why do you people keep targeting my children? I'm your opponent!" She shouted, knives lacing each of her words.
At the same time, she grabbed her chest and clenched hard as divine power was channeled through her body.

Tilting her head at the Werewolf, who looked at her idly, curious about how she suddenly healed the damage she took.

"IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO HELP, THEN SHUT UP!"

Alchemy ignored the system notification and dashed forward, moving faster than ever.
'Faster. Move faster!'
She propelled herself upward from punching the ground, making the miniature crater bigger. While in the air, she twirled, using the chaotic rotations to increase the power of her kick. The collision of which managed to push Gravana back a few centimeters.
She was about to continue her assault when Gravana began to move his arm, making her jump back instantly.
"HAHA NOW THAT'S-"
Before Gravana could continue talking, Alchemy dropped to the ground, maximizing her acceleration and slamming her entire body into Gravana, following that up with two more follow-ups before he retaliated.
Still rushing forward, Gravana laughed before letting out another massive roar, sending her back.
Airborne once again, Alchemy controlled her position and trajectory to some extent. As this happened, her wings began fluttering vigorously! They were working!
They weren't strong enough to allow for flight, but giving her some movement in the air was already great! She had no clue why she could suddenly control them, but the reason didn't matter. Using this newfound ability, she landed sideways on a tree trunk, pushing herself forward through the air.
Gravana took a defensive stance when she lunged forward, awaiting her challenge.
|
From the ground beneath Alchemy, chains shot out and chased Gravana, binding him.
|<[Sealed Spirit] has been activated!>|
|
|<[Sealed Spirit] has failed!>|
Alchemy didn't care that the sealing failed; she didn't expect it to work. She just needed the physical chains to hold him down so she could gouge his eyes out!
Unfortunately, even with the chains, Gravana moved easily, causing her claw-like strikes to graze past his head.
"HAHAHAHA! Maybe I was wrong about you! You're far too strong for those kids to have a chance against you! No wonder you were able to kill that idiotic bird! Now, can you keep pace with me when I speed up?" Gravana cheered.
Going on the offense again, Gravana did exactly what he promised and sped up, nearly vanishing from Alchemy's eyesight and appearing beside her.
Her head shot to the side as she followed his movements, ducking under the first strike and coiling around his massive forearm to avoid his downward attack. Now that she was this close again, she flipped her body over the Werewolf and tried choking him out, but aborted that idea the moment she realized that wasn't going to work.
Alchemy was forced to retreat, allowing Gravana to advance. Despite her clear inferiority in speed, Gravana struggled to land a solid hit on her. He managed to land grazes here and there, but Alchemy managed to avoid every attack at a hair's width.
Then he saw it. She hadn't shut her eyes once, not letting Gravana leave her line of sight a single time. With her increase in stats, thanks to [Supplication], her body could just barely keep up, but every single movement she made made it harder for her to breathe.
|<[Supplication] Timer: 1:53>|
'Damn it. Is it really impossible, even with doubling my stats? No! I have one more chance! I just need to make this count…' Alchemy lamented.
"Hahaha! I'm so glad I came here, little Goddess! But it seems you're running out of breath!" He said, charging at her once again, destroying a tree as Alchemy threw her body as hard as she could to dodge.
Gravana wasn't wrong; she hadn't noticed this yet because she had not exerted herself this much before, but her stamina was tied to her SP, which was draining fast.
|
Even with both her FAI and INT doubled, she could barely fight for 5 minutes like this. At this rate, she wasn't sure what'd run out first, [Supplication] or her SP.
"Inventory," Alchemy mumbled, grabbing out her [Tier 2 Lightning Strike Card].
"You won't have an easy death for hurting my children!" Alchemy scoffed, getting in between one of Gravana's strikes, hitting him with a devastating uppercut, and quickly following it up with a kick straight to his jaw.
In an instant, he dragged his head back down, but Alchemy was already in place; the card with a bronze outline and a picture of lightning striking down a burnt tree had been thrusted into Gravana's face.
"Explode, Lightning!"
|<[Tier 2 Lightning Strike Card] has been used! As you are the user, you will take 80% reduced damage!>|
BOOM!
From the heavens above, a singular storm cloud appeared and hit both Alchemy and Gravana, sending the prior flying back.

|
'Ahh… There the debuffs are.' Alchemy hummed as she coughed out a frightening amount of blood.
Alchemy was beginning to think that the passive of the Divine factions was changed to complete immunity to debuffs. Thinking back, she hasn't really had too many major wounds except for when she fought against the Assassin Eagle.
Aside from that, it was smaller, more numerous attacks that chipped away her health, nothing dire enough to cause any D.O.Ts to occur.
Coughing more, Alchemy looked at her HP, hoping that that attack did something, anything.
|
She knew he wasn't dead, thanks to the system giving her no notification, but she couldn't see any movement from the cloud of smoke.
Despite being nearly full health, the Lightning Strike did over 1600 damage to her while reducing it by 80%
The power was no joke, that was for sure.
Alchemy glanced around as she tried to get up, unfortunately failing miserably.
Her body wasn't responding to her; blood was gushing from her eyes, and even breathing was difficult as it felt like her lungs were collapsing in on themselves.
Her HP, SP, and buff had all run dry. And even after all that, a loud, arrogant laugh echoed from the smoke after using her only trump card.
"Darn…"
Stepping out of the smoke, Gravana was there, bruised and bleeding but otherwise fine.
"Interesting! You're truly interesting for the ruler of a bunch of bugs!" Gravana complimented Alchemy, wiping the blood off his mouth.
"Haha." Alchemy chuckled through a cough.
"Thanks for… The compliment… You're not so bad yourself…"
His wolves began to howl as the victor was decided. Gravana himself slowly approached Alchemy.
"Any last words, valiant warrior?"
Looking around as best she could, Alchemy nodded.
"Yeah… I have one extremely competent subordinate." She said with a smile.
