[Two cards detected, please check the details.]
[Card Name: Seed of Genesis (Rare)]
A seed infused with life energy, capable of jumpstarting the growth of basic ecosystems in a barren environment. It creates fertile soil, a water source, and a self-sustaining flora system.
[Card Name: Cosmic Forge (Rare)]
A device that collects and refines cosmic energy from the void, condensing it into matter. It lays the foundation for creating a planet by forming a planetary core and generating a gravitational field to attract more resources.
[Seed of Genesis is what it says it is… But you can't just toss seeds into nothing. Cosmic Forge will pull energy from the cosmos and build you a proper foundation. Think of it as the bones for your world,] Spark explained.
"Whoa, so cool!" Dave exclaimed. "Can I use these cards now?"
[These are basic cards, so it is possible to use them.]
"Then, what are we waiting for? Let's use them!"
[Okay, but we should start with the Cosmic Forge.]
"Alright, quick! We'll do as you say."
[Beep. Cosmic Forge synchronized to void space. Activating planetary formation protocol.]
As the Cosmic Forge synchronized with the void, streams of radiant energy swirled violently around ALLSPARK, forming an enormous vortex. Dave watched in awe as the streams condensed into the metallic frame of his system.
"Wait—what's happening?" Dave shouted, his voice tinged with alarm.
[Beep. Beep. This... was not anticipated. Energy overload detected.]
ALLSPARK's surface began to glow white-hot as the energy streams intensified. In an instant, the structure started to transform. The energy condensed and collapsed inward, forming a dense, pulsating orb at the void's center.
"ALLSPARK!" Dave yelled, his heart pounding, but there was no response.
The energy finally stabilized, leaving a glowing core spinning at the center of the void, radiating faint gravitational waves.
[Re-initializing...]
The voice that emerged was clearer, sharper, and carried an air of authority.
[Core formation complete. ALLSPARK has assimilated as the planetary core.]
"Wait—what?! You're... the core now?" Dave gasped.
[Affirmative. During the Cosmic Forge process, I became the anchor for the energy flow, evolving into the planetary core.]
[Stabilization is ongoing… BEEP... BEEP... Activating shielding functions to avoid detection.]
"Uh, okay... I guess? Take your time." Dave scratched his head. "I've got school tomorrow anyway; I should get some sleep."
The next morning, Dave and Daniel boarded the school bus. Dave glanced around and noticed an empty seat where Yasmine usually sat.
"Strange… she never misses school," he thought. "Man, I forgot to ask what she awakened yesterday. She was on the list... Maybe it's good she's not here. Peace and quiet for once."
But his relief was short-lived. When he entered the classroom, Yasmine was already there, arms crossed and glaring at him.
Her hair ghost white and eyes blue, she was beautiful and more menacing now. This surprised Dave.
"Oi, Dave! Where were you yesterday?" she demanded, her tone sharp.
"Gulp." Dave nervously swallowed.
"And here I thought I wouldn't have to deal with her attitude today," he thought. "I really don't have the energy for her sassy right now…"
"What did you say?" Yasmine asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Ah! Nothing, nothing at all!" Dave stammered; dog-licking attitude is really hard to go away.
She squinted at him but eventually sighed and asked, "How was your awakening?"
"Good, good! It went well. What about yours, oh and your contact lens and hair dye looks good? I almost forgot about that.. ha-ha..?"
"What??", she was surprised
Her eyes widened and she asked again. "You don't know about my awakening?"
"Um… you awakened, right?" Dave said hesitantly.
There was brief silence.. Then all of a sudden Sophia started to laugh "Hahahaha.."
"Huuuu… hahaha.. Ouch my stomach is hurting.. Haha.." She clutched her stomach, doubling over. "Oh my... ouch! My sides!"
"What the f**k? What the heck is wrong with this crazy b***h now?" Dave thought, eyeing Sophia suspiciously.
But he didn't say anything, as Yasmin was still glaring at him. "Forget it," she muttered and turned away.
"Well… I definitely messed up somewhere," Dave mumbled as he moved to sit down.
Five minutes later, Ms. Sophia walked into the classroom. She turned to the board and began writing as she spoke.
"Now that you've awakened your void spaces, we will start learning how to nurture a planetary seed using cosmic energy. This seed will grow into a planet, and that's just the beginning. Eventually, you could nurture an entire solar system… a galaxy... Maybe even more."
The students listened intently as she continued, "To gather cosmic energy, you can use external tools like energy-gathering cards or meditate, though meditation is slow. Common energy-gathering cards are easy to find and useful during the initial planet formation phase but will become obsolete as your planet grows more powerful."
She paused to answer a few questions before delving deeper into the process.
During lunch, Dave met up with James in the courtyard.
"My toad-faced friend, how are you today?" Dave teased, grinning.
"I'm doing great, my boot-licking comrade. How about you?" James shot back with mock sarcasm.
The two burst out laughing. "Hahaha!"
