ARIANA'S POV.
I didn't for once think that such a thing could happen to Sunny. How hard it must have been to keep pretending to know nothing. It must have been excruciatingly painful to pretend from such a young age, when all kids knew how to do was being truthful.
"You should have something." Miguel said.
"What does it change?" Sunny asked, and Miguel wanted to say something, but I placed a hand on his arm, stopping him gently.
"Thanks for telling us now. I'm sorry things were that hard."
"Not hard, actually. Have you seen anyone who wouldn't want to dote on me? I was loved." Sunny said, and I sighed. He would rather not accept comfort of any sort.
"Most of the time, love from the wrong people isn't nearly as fulfilling as love from the person you want it from." I said, and he rolled his eyes, and fell back on the bed.
Silence fell, and the air was heavy with each and every one in their own heads.
