{THE NIGHT BEFORE}
"You see that a war is going to happen?" I asked the seer.
"Yes." She replied, and I swallowed.
Just imagining the thought of having to fight Ariana with an army was too much. What would I do if such a thing happened? What if by that time, she would have completely moved on, and wouldn't feel even the slightest of emotion for me?
"Then what's the point in doing all these if the war is still going to happen?" I asked, frustrated. "It means the vampires will eventually find her no matter what I do."
