ARIANA'S POV.
The water pulled me along, but I held onto a fat tree branch, holding it with what I had left. It was quite slimy, and threatened to slip out of my hands, but I held on to it with all I had in me.
"Ah, help me." I shouted, hoping anyone nearby would hear me, but it seemed like screaming only made me lose my grip. The water would wash me off before anyone could even come to rescue me.
Water splashed onto my face, as the water seemed to soar higher, rushing with more ferocity. My heart pounded in my chest, as my legs and body were pulled in the direction the water was going.
"Oh god. Oh god, please. Somebody!" My hands slipped some more, and I decided to focus my energy on securing a better hold on the branch. I didn't know how long I held on, or how long I cried, trying to banish the flood of negative thoughts filling my head.
Finally, someone came, and my heart broke in relief. It was Drake.
"Ariana?"
