ARIANA'S POV.
"Wh…who said that? Why would you say such? What led you to think that we have such a thing going between us?" I asked, heatedly, my cheeks going red.
"You're not denying it." Caroline said, her blue eyes boring into my face.
"Denying what?"
"That there's something going on between you and Mr. Howard." Kayla completed.
"I'm quite interested." Caroline brushed her hand through her peroxide blonde hair. "Do you have a thing for him?"
"Well… it…" I looked at their eyes, which were fixed on me, and it seemed weird to deny that I liked Luke. "Well, yes, I do. It's not quite hard to find yourself falling for such a kind, and…"
"Kind?" They both asked, looking at me with surprise.
"Yes, well, yes, he's very kind to me."
"Sounds like something's definitely going on." Caroline said, with a teasing smile, and I sniffed, going completely red, as I couldn't reply.
