LUKE'S POV.
The moment Ari jumped out the window, something deep within me just knew that she wasn't coming back. That she was gone for good, and that was why, I quickly recovered from the powerful shove she'd given me, and despite the painful wounds she'd given me, I jumped out the window after her.
I landed smoothly on the grass, and ran out from the cover of the bungalows, onto the silent street. Looking left and right, I couldn't see any trace of her. How had she run so fast? I took the right, and that was probably where I got it wrong.
I made my way back to the field, and saw the contestants who had lost, getting overwhelmed by the billion dollars I'd prepared for them each.
"Luke, where have you been? What's with all the blood? What were you doing?" Yoon, who walked to meet me asked.
"Forget about the blood. It's nothing…" I said, only for us to ask our next question at the same time; "Where's Ariana?"
