Marina was scared to the bone as she replayed Aiden's words...
"He just ordered your arrest."
She tightened her grip on the steering wheel. "What? How?"
Aiden felt sorry for her, she didn't deserve this. "Maxwell's forged evidence against you, linking you to corporate fraud. The warrant is already out. If they find you, you're going straight to jail."
Amira laughed hard almost hurting her ribs while seated on the passenger seat. "I guess that makes two of us."
Marina looked at her, anger surging through her vains. "You think this is funny, Amira!?"
"Did I say I was laughing at you?" Amira snapped. "Just a while ago Maxwell tried to kill me, and now you're a wanted woman. We're both fucking screwed..."
Amira wasn't done talking when Aiden's voice interrupted them. "Listen to me, Marina. You cannot let them find you. I'm sending Jayden and Marcus to come get you. Get somewhere safe and stay there."
