Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!
The famous ninjas in the ninja world were taken aback.
"Isn't this the technique of Sarutobi Hiruzen?"
Even the ninjas in Konoha Village stared in surprise.
This ninjutsu, developed by the Third Hokage himself, was based on the Second Hokage's Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.
The ninjutsu was classified as A-rank, which meant its difficulty was extremely high.
And now, this technique was being handed to Uzumaki Naruto, who had just entered school.
Onoki: "Incredible! Your way of winning hearts, old man, is too effective. You're giving Naruto a ninjutsu that's almost impossible for him to learn."
Fourth Raikage: "It's true. I remember hearing that not many people in the entire ninja world can learn this technique. Even Fourth Hokage was able to master it."
Terumi Mei: "Well, Naruto seems happy, at least."
Orochimaru: "Hehehe. I can also learn this technique. But seriously, expecting a kid who's just started school to learn the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique? Hiruzen's intentions aren't as pure as they seem."
Sarutobi Hiruzen: "Why are you so concerned? After all, Naruto is the son of Minato and Kushina. His father's talent was rare. Surely, his son can't be any worse. But learning ninjutsu isn't something that happens overnight. If he doesn't succeed this year, there's always next year. Eventually, he'll get it."
Shimura Danzō, observing from the shadows, smiled disdainfully.
"If this move of yours doesn't win people over, then I don't know what will. But relying on people's hearts… it's always a gamble."
"And Konoha will pay the price for it sooner or later."
The faces of Hatake Kakashi and the others reflected deep surprise. Their thoughts were different from the rest.
Letting a child learn A-rank ninjutsu?
"The old man's approach makes no sense at all," Kakashi thought.
Jiraiya spread his hands and chuckled. Deep down, he found it amusing. It was clear to him that Naruto wouldn't master the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique easily.
"Naruto," Jiraiya began, "This technique is really tough to learn. Only a handful of people in the ninja world have managed it."
The names he mentioned were legends in their own right: the Second Hokage, Orochimaru, Minato, and of course, the Third Hokage himself. Only these four had successfully used the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique.
"What! Is this ninjutsu really that powerful?" Uzumaki Naruto asked, his eyes wide with disbelief.
"Wow… If I knew this ninjutsu was so great, I would've spent more time practicing it and less time causing trouble," he muttered to himself.
The Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique was described as one of the most difficult and powerful skills. By transforming a single shuriken into thousands of clones, this technique combined both ninjutsu and shadow clones, but with a deadly twist. Unlike regular shadow clones, the clones created from shurikens were real entities, each carrying lethal potential. This created a perfect encirclement that made it hard for enemies to escape.
Naruto was awestruck by the description of this technique. It sounded incredibly powerful, and for a moment, he became completely absorbed in the idea of mastering it.
Without wasting any time, Naruto jumped right into learning it.
---
A few days later...
In the back mountain of Konoha Village...
Whoosh!
A shuriken sliced through the air.
Uzumaki Naruto quickly formed the necessary hand seals and shouted, "Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!"
Boom!
Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the shuriken hit the tree trunk and didn't split into clones.
Only one shuriken remained lodged in the tree, and the rest were a failure.
Naruto stared at the lone shuriken, his face darkening with frustration.
"Failed again!" he thought, disappointment settling in.
Though it was disappointing, this was not unusual. Learning an A-rank ninjutsu was extremely difficult. After all, even adult ninjas struggled to master it.
However, everyone who had been watching Naruto's attempt was impressed. In such a short amount of time, Naruto had already shown the ability to form seals quickly. For a child as young as him, this was a remarkable achievement.
Naruto stood there, puzzled. "Is it really because of my age that I can't condense chakra well?" he wondered.
He recalled the basics that Sarutobi Hiruzen had taught him earlier.
Chakra.
It was the key to releasing ninjutsu. The strength of a ninjutsu was directly tied to the chakra's cohesion and control. Chakra was a mixture of physical energy and spiritual energy.
"Children are troublesome. There's not enough chakra in their bodies to release powerful ninjutsu," Naruto thought. "I guess I'll have to build a strong foundation first."
With that, Naruto gave himself a small smile. "The first thing I need to learn is how to properly condense chakra."
The road ahead was long, but Naruto had set his mind to mastering the basics, knowing that only with perseverance would he one day be able to harness the power of the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique.
