Prologue

Crossing paths

Two moments, two chances – fate's subtle, provocative design.

Moment one: A wedding day deception –

Adeeba attended her friend's nuptials, hidden behind her Niqab's graceful veil.

The groom's sister held hostage, a shocking secret revealed too late –

The groom was promised to another woman, yet Adeeba's friend sealed her fate.

Gasps echoed through the hall as truth shattered illusion –

Adeeba's eyes scanned the room, locking onto wedding party faces in confusion.

Among them, one man stood tall – strong jawline, piercing gaze –

Ayaan, the groom's friend, oblivious to Adeeba's veiled presence, her intense stare.

His smile seemed genuine, yet Adeeba sensed underlying complexity –

A fleeting connection sparked, lost in the chaos of that deceived reality.

Moment two: A roadside rescue –

Nightfall shrouded the deserted highway as screeching tires faded away.

Ayaan lay wounded, bullet grazed forehead bleeding profusely –

Pain blurred his vision, yet awareness lingered, focused on salvation nearby.

A female doctor rushed to aid, skilled hands moving swiftly, gently –

Consumed by healing instinct, unaware of his masked gaze penetrating.

He wore a black mask, hiding identity, shielding truth –

Only his haunting eyes visible, burning with intensity, locked onto hers youth.

Though masked, his stare conveyed gratitude, curiosity, and something more –

Her touch saved his life, as their hands touched in a fleeting score.

Later, "The Masked Man" frequented her hospital floor .

Moment three: A midnight revelation –

Three men sat across from two enigmatic women –

Founders of Aasman Racing Club, legendary names whispered among adrenaline seekers.

To their left, one woman introduced as "Agni" – fiery spirit evident, yet face obscured.

To their right, the other founder, voice low and mysterious, named "Moh" –

Both silhouettes exuded confidence, commanding respect in dim lighting.

The men leaned forward, engaged in discussion – club sponsorship and racing strategy –

Until Agni suddenly pushed back her chair, standing tall, and unveiled her presence.

The room froze as her face emerged from shadows...

One man's eyes widened, breath caught – stunned recognition ignited his mind.

Moh remained still, observing the reaction, hint of a knowing smile –

Moment four: A truth revealed on a moonlit night –

Their date unfolded romantically – soft music, candlelit dinner cruise –

Ayaan's eyes locked onto hers, heart racing with impending confession.

Adeeba glowed with happiness, oblivious to the storm brewing inside him –

He chose this perfect moment to shatter illusions, reveal hidden truths within.

"Adeeba..." Ayaan's voice low, hesitant – fingers brushing against hers –

"We've met before. Twice actually... moments I've recalled endlessly."

Her eyebrows arched, curiosity piqued – "Explain," she whispered softly.

He took a deep breath, heart exposed – "The wedding... and another night, I was injured."

Adeeba's eyes narrowed slightly – "Injured? How did I..." Then pause, realization –

"The man with the black mask... was that you?"

Ayaan nodded slowly – "Yes. I've been watching you, wanting to explain..."

The cruise ship sailed calmly on – yet Adeeba's world tilted violently –

Her gaze burned with questions, accusations – heart racing between shock and fury...

Suddenly, she pushed her chair back – "I need air..." – and disappeared into darkness.
