Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 First Lesson (Part 2)

"But before the class officially starts, I have a few more words to say."

Hideki changed his look of having everything under control and smiled bitterly while rubbing the back of his head:

"First of all, I have to say sorry to everyone..."

"Puppetry has a very bad reputation in Konoha. In order to let everyone at least see the real puppetry, I have to resort to this desperate measure and use the puppet cat to lead everyone here."

"But no matter what, I was wrong to deliberately lock you all in here and restrict your freedom to choose courses. I am very sorry."

"The warehouse door has been unlocked now. If you want to attend other training courses, you can leave at any time. It should still be in time."

"But since we are here, I still hope that everyone can treat it as a scam and listen to the content of this class before making a decision."

What do you mean by "pretend"? They were obviously deceived!

Everyone was complaining in their hearts, but no one took any action.

If it was just now, most people would probably choose to leave.

But after seeing the lively puppet cat and hearing the big cake the teacher drew for them, they were no longer willing to move.

Everyone's initial resentment at being deceived also dissipated with Mr. Kimura's sincere apology.

That's right.

Based on everyone's previous impression of puppetry, if the teacher didn't use some tricks, I'm afraid few people would be willing to come to class…

Anyway, there is a one-month selection period for the training course, so it doesn't hurt to take a puppetry class first.

However, what the little ninjas didn't know was that what they were thinking was actually within Hideki's expectations...

let out a sinister smile in his heart, feeling as if his conspiracy had succeeded.

As a child for two lifetimes, he knows that blindly forcing children will only trigger rebellious psychology.

So after drawing the big cake to reassure everyone, he would immediately adopt such a humble attitude to eliminate the negative impact of deceiving everyone to come to the class.

Seeing that everyone had no intention of leaving, Xiu Shu smiled with relief and said:

"Very good, then let's get started."

He first glanced at everyone, and finally his eyes fell on a girl with two purple lines on each side of her face.

"This classmate, what is your name?"

"No...Nohara Lin."

Being asked this question suddenly by the teacher, Lin couldn't help but feel a little nervous and quickly stood up and answered.

Hideki comforted him with a gentle smile, and then asked:

"So, Nohara-san, do you know what puppetry is?"

Lin was slightly relieved after hearing the question because she had learned relevant knowledge in the Ninjutsu class.

So she thought for a moment and replied:

"Puppetry is a secret ninjutsu invented by the second generation Kazekage Shamon of the Sand Village, and later developed by the genius puppeteer Monzaemon..."

"This technique can remotely control puppets equipped with various hidden weapons through chakra lines to fight..."

"Oh, I remember the teacher also said that the number of puppets controlled is basically equal to the puppeteer's strength..."

"Very good, Nohara Lin, you can sit down now."

Hideki continued,

"As this classmate said, when people talk about puppetry, the first thing that comes to mind is all kinds of strange puppets and the chakra strings that puppeteers use to control the puppets."

"And the two correspond exactly to the two most important parts of puppetry: puppet making and puppet control."

"In fact, this is also the reason why I chose this warehouse as a classroom."

"Because the production of puppets or mechanical ninja tools requires a lot of tools and materials, it is best to do it indoors, and the manipulation of puppets requires sufficient space."

"I chose this place as the classroom for the puppetry class to avoid running in and out."

"Because this place was just emptied, the tables, chairs and other equipment will probably not be fully equipped until the next class, so everyone just make do with it for now."

Naturally, no one objected to this.

However, some thoughtful people couldn't help but guess that the reason why they didn't put tables and chairs there was because they were afraid that everyone would find out that this was a puppetry classroom...

Xiu Shu naturally didn't know the dark and pointed thoughts of these people, and continued:

"As you can probably imagine, puppet making is a complex subject that includes materials science, ninja tool making, mechanical techniques, sealing techniques, etc."

"If you want to master this, you must be prepared to spend a lot of time and energy."

Hideki paused for a moment, and seeing that everyone was beginning to feel awkward, he quickly added with a smile:

"But since this is just a training course, there is no need for everyone to spend too much time on it."

"Based on my own experience, I have prepared several simple and practical hidden weapons for this course."

"All you need to know is how to assemble them, and that's enough to pass the final exam for this course."

"But don't underestimate them, because whether you can master and use these hidden weapons skillfully may mean the difference between life and death on the battlefield."

After hearing this, the little ninjas relaxed again.

Life and death are still too far away for them. Whether they can pass the exam easily is the key factor for them to consider whether to stay.

Unfortunately, Hideki's next words made them feel anxious again.

"Since puppet making is not the focus of the course, the core content of our course is naturally how to control puppets."

"As the foundation of the foundation, the creation and maintenance of chakra lines will be everyone's learning goal this semester and the focus of the final exam."

Although they had expected it, the little ninjas were still a little confused when they were asked to learn how to create chakra lines right from the start.

Did the teacher overestimate their ability?

Creating chakra lines sounds difficult. Can they really learn it when they can't even climb a tree or step on water?

Many young ninjas looked uglier the more they thought about it, and even began to prepare to back out.

Xiu Shu secretly laughed at this, thinking that if the class ended now, there would probably be less than ten students who dared to come to the next class...

Fortunately, he had anticipated this, and after a light chuckle, he said,

"Of course, as a former ninja school student, I know very well what everyone is thinking."

"With everyone's current chakra control ability, it's probably unrealistic to learn how to create and maintain chakra lines in one semester..."

"But it is precisely because of this that my existence as a teacher is valuable."

"In order to achieve this goal, I have specially invented an interesting teaching aid for everyone..."

As soon as Xiu Shu finished speaking, under everyone's expectant and suspicious gazes, he shook his sleeves, took out three wooden balls and threw them forward.

After the three wooden balls fell on the platform, they suddenly began to deform with a "cracking" sound, and finally turned into three puppet beasts of different shapes.

Although not as lifelike as the previous black cat, the little ninjas can still recognize their prototypes from their simple mechanical appearance:

the first one is a red lizard that walks on two legs.

The second one is a little blue turtle, which looks very cute.

As for the third green strange creature, they really couldn't recognize it... let's just call it a garlic turtle...

Seeing the little ninjas staring at the three puppet beasts with wide eyes and curiosity, Hideki suppressed his smile and explained seriously:

"This is what I call the teaching aids. You can call them... pocket puppet beasts."
