The winter break after the exams did not greet me very pleasantly.
Himiko Toga suddenly fell and lost consciousness during our celebration of finishing the exams with honors. After just one glass of watered down wine that I poured for her, she suddenly turned red and lost consciousness.
Barely managing to catch her due to a moment of confusion, I grabbed her by the shoulders, which saved her from falling on her head.
Due to Toga's sudden fever, I had to look after her for an entire week. I had to decline an invitation from my parents to an amusement park, although it was very painful for me.
According to the assurances of the doctor who came to us, he eased my worries by saying that it was just a normal fever related to her quirk, and that it would soon pass on its own.
I practically did not leave her side the entire week, taking care of her, because I was sincerely worried about her. She soon began to rave, shaking and saying random words, mentioning her parents, me and many other things, sometimes even crying.
When her panic increased, I hugged her neck, after which she hugged my head and calmed down.
Regularly changing her clothes, wiping her exposed skin: arms, legs, stomach, back and neck, I also fed her my own blood through a baby bottle with a nipple, the only thing she instinctively absorbed. In general, I tried to do everything in my power to ease her condition, because medication could complicate the situation when it came to quirks.
I was going to transfer her to the hospital, but on the first day she barely woke up, protesting. Looking at her misty but stubborn eyes, I agreed with an irritated sigh. Because if she ended up in the hospital, the hospital would have to notify her parents about it.
I was lucky that she hadn't started excreting waste products during the whole time, although that also worried me.
Lying tired at the edge of her bed, I snored peacefully with bags under my eyes that slowly started disappearing visible with the naked eye.
Suddenly, she slowly opened her eyes and sat up easily, without using her arms or legs, only with the help of her core.
She began to look forward a little stupidly, as if she hadn't fully woken up yet, after which she began to look around.
And when she lowered her head, hearing a quiet snoring and warmth near her hand, her gaze completely changed from half-asleep to bright and joyful with a mischievous sparkle.
This was the guy who won her heart, body, mind and soul with his kindness. He helped her when she was in trouble not because of her body, the outer shell that she got from her parents, but because he thought it was right to save the little wounded girl that was inside her under a thick mask.
She pouted and said softly,
"I love... you."
There was no embarrassment in her words, only a pure expression of her own feelings.
If he woke up and saw her now, he would be surprised by her drastic change. Himiko Toga, the shy, caring, and bright girl, had completely disappeared, becoming a strongly marked, mature, and confident... no, not just confident, but extremely self-confident! There was not a drop of embarrassment, excitement, or anxiety in her.

Several months had passed since her fever.
I woke up in my bed and, while opening my eyes, stared at my own reflection from the little mirror on a ceiling, through which a system tab opened my status with even in the smallest, even excessive and unnecessary, details.
After quickly completing my morning routine, I went downstairs, seeing breakfast on the table, wrapped in cling film, I was surprised.
'Of course she said she was preparing for an interview at a prestigious school, but I didn't think she was so serious about it. Well, she kept the school she chose a secret from me, calling it a surprise...'
I came closer and touched the plate.
"Oh, it's still warm! Well then, good luck, Toga, and thanks for the food!"

At the same time.
UA training ground.
A golden-haired girl with charisma radiating from her with teeth grinned brightly. She attracted the gaze of anyone who was nearby, admiring her aura, behavior, and appearance. Everything about her screamed unordinary and strength.
She was dressed in all-white, tight-fitting sportswear that covered all parts of her body up to her neck, wrists, and ankles. Over which she wore a yellow sports short jacket and shorts, and her hair was tied in a long ponytail.
After a 15-minute wait, they were finally told that the test was about to begin, and at the same time, the gates were starting to open. Everyone ran at top speed to the still-opening gates, despite the huge crowd swarm.
She had already managed to find interesting targets from the huge crowd of her group.
What about the gate...
She crouched down, as if she was going to run forward, and jumped, flying over the gate under everyone's surprised eyes, but they quickly came to their senses and began to destroy the robots for which points were awarded.
She began to do the same, while keeping her attention on one cute girl that she liked the most among them. A funny idea flashed through her mind, which made her lick her own lips.
[Ochako Uraraka]
There was a lot of time and after destroying the second dozen robots, she got bored with it. With her strength, it was as easy as running.
So, instead, she began to watch the other participants of the test.
Most of the active participants, oddly enough, turned out to be owners of combat quirks. Most of whom had a transforming or mutant quirk.
As for the rest, who did not have combat quirks...
She once asked her beloved, "Why do they force non-combat quirk users to fight if they can't achieve anything?"
The answer surprised her with its logic and practicality.
First of all, no one expects any great achievements from them. Few people know, but each test subject is individually monitored for detailed analysis of each participant's actions by the UA teaching committee, which is not only made up of combat heroes.
In particular, non-combat quirk users are given increased attention. The test itself is needed so that at the same time not to be distracted by combat quirks users, directing close attention to the behavior, actions and use of the quirks by non-combat quirk users. After all, there is an additional scale for saving specifically for this.
After careful consideration by the committee of the potential and abilities of the participants, even a non-combat quirk user can get into the hero class.
As for the rest, who did not get into the desired percentage of admission to the hero course, they are not left empty-handed, giving recommendations to other educational institutions where they can show themselves best.
Those who do not want to give up studying at UA are given the right to be selected for the general education course, where with due persistence they have a chance to transfer to the hero course.
So Toga realized that UA is not without reason the best educational institution in the country. After all, there are no fools sitting at its top.
Now time has already begun to run out and the robots themselves have noticeably thinned out in number, so that they had to be sought out in buildings.
"Oh, that's interesting." She smiled, sitting on the roof and watching the robot, which was worth 0 points.
The robot itself was simply gigantic, towering over multi-story buildings by more than 1.5 times.
He began to move towards the crowd of participants, who, noticing this, began to run away from the main crowd. There were only a few minutes left in the test, so they could not care about saving stamina.
'Oh, it's that same girl!'
Toga was surprised to see the girl under the rubble of the collapsed roof of the building on the road. As if not noticing her, everyone ran forward without looking back.
She was about to go to pull her out from under the rubble, when suddenly she stopped, shining with a sudden idea. She smiled mischievously and with her smiling crescent-shaped eyes, she looked like a sly fox.
'Yeah, I definitely should try this…'
