CHAPTER ONE (introduction)
Bethel was a young girl who lived in Lagos (Navy barracks) with her parents. She was 16 years old when she finished her secondary school.
This faithfully morning was bethel's birthday ,so her friend ( Maryam) posted a picture of her yo wish her a happy birthday. Maryam was a young girl who lived with her family at satellite and she had a lot of male friends. Maryam posted a picture of her friend bethel, then a young boy ( Jamil) who was Maryam's friend told her he liked her friend and would love to know bethel.
Maryam,told bethel about Jamil. Bethel agreed and she gave her number to jamil , the texted each other but bethel kept refusing to see Jamil until one faithfully day. Jamil ask if they could go on a date, luckily for him bethel agreed
They when to a restaurant,talked about a lot of things and jamil asked bethel to be his girlfriend . Bethel said yes,cause at that time she already fell inlove with him.
CHAPTER TWO (the ex)
Bethel and Jamil,started dating and it went well. One day, Jamil started talking about his ex(Daniella) how razz and crazy she was,how she cheated on him,and how she slept with different guys while they were in a relationship. Bethel would always get angry whenever the starts talking about her but she never said a word until one day she told Jamil she didn't like the way he talks about his ex and that if he misses her ,he should go back to her. Jamil ,who was very manipulative tried turning the tables but bethel didn't complain
One day,bethel started talking about her ex and how good he treated her,and never made her angry just to see jamil's reaction.....Jamil got really angry and told her to go back to her ex ( David) who was an upcoming musician. Jamil got really upset and didn't talk to bethel for more than a week. Bethel,called him and said( if you could feel this way for me talking about David,imagine how I felt too) Jamil acted very unbothered. After so many months,Jamil still kept talking about Ella. Bethel got so tired of hearing her name all the time. Mind you ,bethel was from a rich home and was very educated while Daniella was from a poor background and was an illiterate. Jamil's friends liked bethel a lot,and always told Jamil to make sure he treat's bethel well. But it feels like Jamil was trying to make his friends happy and leave the girl he love more ( Daniella) to please his friends
CHAPTER THREE ( jamil's birthday)
Yayyyyyy,it's almost Jamil's birthday. He invited bethel to his apartment 2 weeks before his birthday. They were both enjoying seeing each other until jamil asked bethel what she wants to wear for his birthday and her hair...then he said he was going to send her the money. A week later,bethel asked for the money and jamil said he didn't have it.
One morning,Jamil posted a picture and his ex (he said he blocked everywhere) replied to the post. Jamil said a voice note where he called Daniella baby girl. Bethel heard his and she confronted him and that was when she found out the jamil has been sending Daniella money,but he keeps telling her that he doesn't have any money.
Bethel,was so sad cause she didn't have any money left. She got him a present and paid for little things when they were together. She called her friend ( halima) to tell her about the situation. Halima was a crazy girl and would always say leave that nigga he doesn't deserve you. Halima sent bethel 20,000naira to leave Jamil's apartment and go back to school.
Jamil,begged bethel to stay and she did. Bethel loved Jamil unconditionally even though he wasn't up to her standards and was a razz boy. But it said that " good girls,like bad boys".
