I entered the library and made my way to my usual spot where I always sat. Placing the candle on the table, I held my breath.
Please light up blue.
I prayed as I struck a match and lit the candle. At first, the flame flickered in the usual yellow-orange hue, and my heart sank. But slowly, the flame began to change, turning into a brilliant blue.
"It worked!" I cheered, practically dancing on the spot.
But my celebration was cut short by the sound of someone clearing their throat.
"Ahem."
I froze and turned to see a beautiful young woman with striking blonde hair and deep blue eyes like ocean. Her figure was nothing short of captivating—curves in all the right places, giving her a graceful, hourglass figure. It was Feyra Abozin, the village chief's daughter.
"Is the library open?" she asked,
"Y-yeah, of course! Please, come in." I tried to act natural.
'Damn it! I want to dig a hole and disappear.'
I hurried behind the counter, doing my best to regain composure while Feyra wandered through the shelves. After a few moments, she stopped in front of one and turned to me.
"Can you help me get this book?" she asked, pointing to one just out of her reach.
"Sure." I walked over and climbed onto a stool to grab the book. As I handed it to her, she did something unexpected. She pushed me gently against the shelf, stepping in so close that I could feel her breath on my face.
"What are you doing?"
"That's my line," she said, her voice low. "What were you doing with Mira earlier?"
"Doing what?"
"You know exactly what I mean," she said, with an angry voice. "Getting all cozy and kissing."
I couldn't help but smirk.
'This guy sure had a way with women,'
Mira, Feyra… It's no wonder he was playing it slow. He's got both of them interested.
'He was no fool,'
He wasn't just being oblivious to Mira's feelings—he was playing the long game, keeping both her and Feyra on the hook. And honestly, that's not a bad thing for me. I'll end up with two loyal followers instead of just one.
"What are you smiling about?" Feyra asked, narrowing her eyes.
Leaning in close to her ear, I whispered, "Just thinking how you'd react if I did to you what I did with Mira."
Her eyes widened, and she backed away a bit, but I quickly slid my arm around her waist and pulled her in, her soft bosoms pressing against me.
"What are you doing?" she whispered, her voice tinged with a mixture of excitement and hesitation.
I trailed a finger lightly along her cheek, watching her shiver under my touch. "Nothing much,"
"Just getting you ready for what's coming if you keep pushing."
She smiled mischievously and looped her arms around my neck. "I'm curious to see where this goes."
Without another word, I closed the gap between us and pressed my lips against hers. Her lips were soft, and as I kissed her, a warmth spread through my chest. She responded eagerly, her hands tangling in my hair as we lost ourselves in the moment. The kiss deepened, and for a few blissful seconds, nothing else existed.
We finally pulled away when we were out of breath, both of us panting slightly.
"I'm not done with you yet," Feyra said,
"Neither am I," I grinned.
I lifted Feyra, her arms tightening around my neck as her legs locked around my waist.
"Let's go somewhere more spacious,"
"Lead the way,"
Her breath quickened, eyes filled with desire as I carried her to the study area where the soft glow of the candle illuminated the space. The soft, sweet fragrance filled the air, making everything feel more intense.
Her eyes never move a inch from me. I set her gently on the wooden table, her legs still wrapped around me, her hands resting on my shoulders as our faces hovered inches apart. The soft flicker of the candle's flame cast shadows that danced across her skin.
"You changed,"
"Yeah," I replied with a teasing grin, "don't you like it?"
"I'm loving it," she whispered, her lips curving into a sly smile as she leaned closer, her breath warm against my skin
Her words sent a thrill through me, and without waiting any longer, I kissed her again, deeper this time, savoring the taste of her lips. I could feel the heat between us rising, her body pressing against mine as we lost ourselves in the kiss.
She parted her lips, and I took the chance to trace soft kisses down her neck. She shivered under my touch, a soft moan escaping her lips.
But just as the moment was about to overtake us completely, the sound of footsteps echoed through the room. Before I could react, a voice cut through the haze, sharp and trembling.
"What are you two doing?"
The words hit like a shockwave. I stopped, my breath catching in my throat as I looked up, meeting Mira's gaze. She stood in the doorway, her eyes wide with disbelief, her chest heaving as she struggled to hold back tears.
I could only stand there, frozen, as Mira's eyes darted between me and Feyra, her lips trembling as if she was trying to say something but couldn't find the words.
