Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Pearl's curious gaze wandered through the garden, her curly brown hair bouncing with each step. She had wandered away from her family's gathering, seeking adventure. That's when she saw him - a boy with messy blond hair and bright blue eyes, staring at a newly planted tree.

"Hi," Pearl said, approaching him. "I'm Pearl."

"I'm Tony," he replied, his smile hesitant.

As they stood there, an elderly woman approached them. "Ah, perfect timing! You two are the chosen ones, destined to plant this sacred tree together."

Pearl and Tony exchanged sceptical glances but followed the woman's instructions. As they dug and planted, an unexpected connection grew between them.

"This tree will symbolize your bond," the woman said, her eyes twinkling. "May it grow strong and tall, just like your friendship."

Pearl and Tony looked at each other, unsure what to make of the sudden prophecy. But as they stood under the tree's branches, they felt an inexplicable pull, as if their lives had become intertwined.

As the years passed, Pearl and Tony grew up, living separate lives, but the memory of that day under the sacred tree lingered. They'd cross paths occasionally, exchanging awkward smiles and brief hellos. But the connection between them remained, like a gentle hum in the background.

On their 14th birthday, Pearl received a mysterious letter with no return address. "Meet me under the sacred tree at midnight," it read. "Come alone."

Pearl's heart raced as she wondered who could have written it. Tony? But why?

That night, she snuck out of her bedroom window and made her way to the tree. The moon cast an eerie glow, and the tree's branches seemed to whisper secrets. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows.

"Tony?" Pearl whispered, her voice trembling.

"The one and only," he replied, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I had to see you, Pearl. I've missed you."

As they stood there, the tree's magic seemed to awaken, enveloping them in a warm, golden light.

As the golden light enveloped them, Pearl and Tony felt an intense connection, as if their hearts were beating in unison. They gazed into each other's eyes, the air thick with emotion.

"We were meant to be friends, Tony," Pearl said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"And more," Tony added, his eyes burning with intensity. "We promised to come back here in ten years. Let's make a new promise, Pearl. Let's vow to always find our way back to each other, no matter what life brings."

Pearl's heart skipped a beat. "I promise," she said, her voice firm.

Tony smiled, his eyes shining with tears. "I promise too, Pearl. Forever and always."

As they sealed their promise with a gentle hug, the golden light swirled around them, imbuing their bond with an otherworldly strength.

As they pulled back from the hug, Pearl smiled up at Tony. "I've missed you so much," she said, her voice filled with emotion.

Tony's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled back. "I've missed you too, Pearl. More than you know."

They stood there for a moment, the only sound of the soft rustling of the tree's leaves in the breeze.

Then Tony glanced around cautiously before taking Pearl's hand in his. "Come with me," he said, his voice low and mysterious.

Pearl's heart skipped a beat as she followed Tony through the shadows, their hands touching sparks of electricity. Where were they going? And what lay ahead for these two souls bound by fate and promise?

As they walked, the trees grew taller, and the sky expanded above them. Tony led Pearl to a clearing, where a blanket was spread out under the stars. He gestured for her to sit, and they settled in together, their hands still touching.

Pearl gazed up at the constellations, feeling the magic of the night. "Tony, this is beautiful," she whispered.

Tony smiled, his eyes shining with warmth. "I wanted to share it with you. You're the only one who understands me, Pearl."

Their faces drew closer, and Pearl's heart raced with anticipation. Tony's lips brushed against hers, sending sparks through her entire being.

As they kissed under the starry sky, the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the wonder of their connection.

As they part, they made up their minds to grow stronger before they met 10 years later .
