Chapter 1 - Get back in time

Expect cringe and questionable lore I have written, Feel free to point out the part I was wrong might fix it.

'It has been millennia since I have been here. The warp…..it was cold' Emperor spoke to himself in the warp.

'When does this go wrong….I don't know…horus…my favorite son betrayed me….my dream shattered….humanity plunged into darkness fighting in my name…the name that I didn't even want, brother fighting brother, corruption, dead, this is what my shattered dream to does to the very people I promise to protect'

'If there's a chance I will gladly take it but It seems like there's none'

The emperor focuses his psychic power on overseeing his resurrected son, Roboute Guilliman as he fights his very own brother, Mortarion now a daemon prince of Nurgle, the god of decay.

'NO! My son is going to die if I don't help him!'

As such Emperor roars, his split of soul taking over Guilliman's body for a moment.

Mortarion smiles in triumph as his brother is dying by his hand, by his god's gift but suddenly Guilliman gets up, a disease that is supposed to kill even a Primarch shows no effect on Guilliman.

"What how?!" Mortarion roar

"You disappointed me, Mortarion," says Guilliman in a voice that's not his but known to Mortarion

"The emperor!" Mortarion roared as he charged head-on at possessed Guilliman even his god warned him not to.

Guilliman's eyes shine in golden light as the emperor empowers him is his power. As a result, Mortarion ended up getting burned by the emperor's psychic power including his god's rotten garden.

'That should do it now where's he?' Emperor looks around in his warp territory as he spots Guilliman standing staring blankly at him.

For a brief silence between those two Guilliman is the first to break it

'Will you ever come back Father?'

Guilliman asks his creator or father straight forward.

'I...I don't know Guilliman my duty to protect humanity is still there but one day I will happily return back and aid you'

'And what you said at Golden Throne do you mean it? do you mean that we are your tools?'

'No Guilliman I never saw you or your brother as mere tools for me, you're always my son but my burden needs me and my attention away from you all, I hope if after all this ends we can make it up'

The emperor spoke in a sad tone if were him thousands of years ago might never have spoken to his sons.

'Go Guilliman you still have a lot of things to be done'

The emperor smiled softly.

Guilliman vanished in front of him 'I hope I can say something like this back then perhaps all of this might not happened If I only been less secretive toward Horus maybe he would not turn' As the Emperor mumbled to himself suddenly the portal the size of him to pass through open in his so-called territories. The emperor prepared to fend off who know what sent to fight him, this was not the first time something like this happened but after waiting for some period of time nothing happened. he slowly approached the portal with caution. 'It might be ambush…but who will send this against me?'

Suddenly the voice he was very familiar with rang in his head.

Emperor looks back at his Imperium seeing how messed up it is before backing up at his other self.

'There's nothing to lose'

Description:
