The red moon glistened under its light even the clear water turned blood red as if the blood of thousands fueled the water.
A lone ship sailed this blood red water, hundreds of screams could be heard from this ship but there was no other ship near there.
Caster's eyes popped open as he looked around with fear. "Where am I?!" He groaned with pain.
Blood dripped from his forehead, Caster shakily took his arm and tried to touch his head; he could feel a small hole in his head, the size of a bullet. It was healing quite fast but this did not concern him.
Caster's head turned sideways as he tried to feel his surroundings. His hands landed on a few bars that were present in front of him, coupled with the fact that he was crouching; he figured out that he was trapped in a cage.
"Let me out!, Let me out!, Let me out!"
Caster's cries rang throughout the ship but his cries were drowned by the other's cries for help. The crimson moonlight landed on him as Caster's head finished healing soon fragments of his memories came at him.
He was Caster Ashwood from the Feysac Empire, he was an ordinary orphan who dreamt of leading his own pirate crew. But, sadly he pissed off the wrong people and was sold as a slave to the Rose School of Thought.
'No, it can't be …. B -, But Feysac Empire, Rose School of Thought!; I'm in Lord of The Mysteries!'
Caster was just an ordinary boy from Earth whose favorite novel was Lord of The Mysteries; he had not even finished college yet. 'How am I in Lord of The Mysteries?!.'
He ruffled his hair and screamed for help; he wanted to leave!. Caster bashed his hand on the cage's bars trying to break free but it only hurt his hand.
Blood fell and puddled on the wooden frame, his hand was a mess as he silently cried. He scratched his head in pain as a strand of hair fell down.
Glancing at it, Caster's eyes were unfocused but he wasn't too surprised; he was an albino.

It had been three days since Caster was trapped during that time the slaves were all gathered in one room. They were kept without the cells but it was too congested.
Caster was in a quiet corner; his eyes were hollow without a flicker of life. Two guards guarded the door, some people tried to overpower them but they did not know the calamity called Beyonders.
They were instantly killed, their bodies were then cooked and savored by the guards. After that fiasco, no one less challenged their authorities.
But, this display of power allowed Caster to figure out that the guards were of Sequence 9 of the chained pathway.
Caster could hear strong footsteps coming down the steps, the door then creaked open causing the group of people to retreat back.
The captain of the ship soon stepped out; he wore slightly worn pants and a sailor's shirt which was not buttoned properly showing his bare chest.
His voice full of malice soon rang out: "Good afternoon everyone I'm Captain James, this will be the first and last time I'll talk to you so feel grateful. Our destination is three days out; but don't despair you vermins will have the highest honour any vermin can dream off. You will be the sacrifice for the Chained God!'
His body was soon covered with fur as his blood-thirsty expression was displayed for everyone to see. The people couldn't understand what was happening to the man as they had never seen Beyonders.
But his characteristics made Caster's lifeless eye's open in shock. This was a Sequence 7 Beyonder — a Werewolf. Caster had thought about escaping but now it seemed impossible.
The moment his transformation ended, the captain punched on the people in front of him. No one opposed him as they were in shock; even if they opposed him, what could they do against a mid-sequence Beyonder.
The Werewolf ripped open his stomach spilling blood onto Caster's cheek. Caster could see a blond woman holding a little girl trying to protect her from this disaster.
Her hands clenched the girl's head tightly as she tried to protect her!. The Werewolf then dug his teeth into the man's head and bit it off.
The head rolled slowly toward the women. The woman screamed frighteningly at this sight. The women kicked the head and it rolled toward Caster.
'Hey!' he thought in his mind.
A few minutes later, James was finished with his feast. His eyes landed on Caster's bloody cheek; he walked towards him slowly and rubbed his fang on the blood cleaning it.
The man then returned to his human form and ruffled his hair; he grinned ear from ear showing his dirty teeth.
"Oh it seems I splashed you while I had my 'lunch'. I cleaned it so no harm done right?!"
Caster nodded hastily, causing James to laugh. James soon held the man's head and walked to the door.
No one moved until the sound of the door closing was heard.
"Thi- this is a nightmare!" Caster whispered while trembling.

A/N - Please tell me if there are errors or grammatical mistakes. So yeah most of the introduction is copied from Lord of The Mysteries: Fire of Destruction because well I didn't know how else to give my MC the chained pathway formula, you should go read it; it's an enjoyable read.
