That night was clear and bright ,the moon shine brightly and everything was calm, maybe calmer than usual. The crickets outside chirped you would have thought they were in a choir.
"Lucian ,I love you very much,"Teshmian whispered in his ears .
Lucian held her by the waist and pulled her in for a kiss . Teshmian was dressed in jean shorts and a crop sweater. Teshmian complied and they both teased each other with their lips. Lucian moved his hands all over her body and Teshmian was just as hungry to have him as Lucian was to have her.Lucian stopped suddenly and pulled himself away.His demon was very hungry and he was afraid to hurt Teshmian.
"I don't want to hurt you Teshmian."
"I trust you Lucian."
As much as Lucian wanted to make Teshmian his he wanted her to be sure she wanted it.Teshmian also reassured him and gave him a go ahead. Before they knew it they were feeling each other's warmth. Teshmian felt Lucian's body against hers and this gave her some inner peace she's never felt. They both laid there on the bed with Teshmian's head resting on Lucian's chest as they talked and shared moments with each other. Teshmian was very hurt secretly ,she knew this maybe the last time being so close to Lucian and feeling him close to her. Lucian who knew nothing of what was going to hit him next was just so excited and vouched to live his whole life for Teshmian.
"I'm sorry Lucian," that came out as a whisper but Lucian heard it.
He pushed that statement on the back of his head and let that moment with Teshmian pass by peacefully.
In the morning Teshmian prepared herself to leave she didn't know if she would make it alive but duty called her and she needed to protect her people.By the time Lucian and Hamnish realized what was going on it was already late . Teshmian had stabbed herself ,it was the only way to get to the spirit realm to reach her mother .
"Teshmian please don't we'll figure another way out ,just don't go," Lucian tried but there was no turning back for Teshmian she had to go .
Teshmian's bod started fading away as Lucian tried to hold onto her but she was gone and he just held onto the air around. Hamnish pushed Lucian and told him to bring her back. Lucian who was already enraged grabbed him by the collar and told him that it was his fault. For the first time he talked back at Hamnish and this took him by surprise .
Teshmian arrived at the spirit realm and she was just roaming around aimlessly. She had never been to this part of the world at all and she didn't know her way around.sge was confused and didn't know where to start looking.
"Teshmian, Teshmian my child,"
Teshmian thought she heard her mother's voice calling her . She turned round to see her with a big smile only to find nobody,it was only a gush of wind past her face. She felt tears sting her eyes but she couldn't go weak right now,she had to find courage and fight through everything. She only had untill sundown to find her mom and go back otherwise the staiercase to the human world would close. Teshmian was tired and hungry ,she hadn't eaten anything from the day she landed there. She decided to look for somewhere to have some food before she continued her search. It wasn't long before she spotted a small diner at a nearby distance. She was glad but there was a problem she didn't have the things she saw them use as money so she couldn't buy food .
"Excuse me but do you need any help?" A middle sized man with shaggy hair managed to ask her.
Teshmian tried to explain to him that she needed food but couldn't pay for it,,but before she could finish some blue light shone from har neck. The pendant; her mom's pendant ,it had never glown like that. She didn't understand why it was reacting that way.
"What's that on your neck?"
"Nothing," Teshmian lied as she tried to hide the pendant but it didn't listen to her
The man tackled Teshmian to see what she was hiding which attracted the people of the spirit realm. They were eager to see what was happening. Finally the man managed to grab the pendant from Teshmian and had a look. He himself was very surprised at it's site ,he couldn't believe it ,he was holding the trinklet.
"The trinklet! It can't be," the man was amazed,"then you must be the princess,the angel Princess."
By the mere mention of the angel Princess ,it aroused murmures from the crowd . They were all amazed the same way the young man was but Teshmian was confused. How did this people know about her and the trinklet. It seemed like she as the only one who knew nothing about everything that seemed so obvious to everyone she came across.
Joryl, was his name ,the young man. The man told Teshmian that she could eat anything she wanted for free. He felt that it was such a big honour to host the angel Princess. Even though Teshmian didn't know how this man knew her she decided to ask him where she could find the angel queen in that place . She was even ready to give him anything he asked for in exchange for this piece of information. On hearing this Joryl gave out a hearty laugh and Teshmian just stood there and stared at him as if he had gone mad.
"Excuse me if you think I'm joking around then back off,"Teshmian was angry
This man thought she was joking and many people depended on her to find her mom's soul . She had to reconnect with her mom to gain access to the Golden palace. Joryl changed emotions so quickly. He looked so sad and one could almost see a tear drop from his right eye . Teshmian now didn't understand this guy and he seemed weird. She turned to leave but before she could something cought her ears.
"How can you be looking for mom here: looking for the living among the dead ,I think you are the weird one," he gave a small laugh.
How this person could read her thoughts she didn't know but onto serious business,why this man said mother as if he was referring to the angel Queen.
"Sorry about your mom but I'm not looking for your mom,I'm looking for the Angel Queen,my mother."
"Correction,'our mother' "
Joryl turned to her and gave her a faint smile and it kinda looked like that of Hamnish .
"What do you mean by our mom?" Teshmian threw this question at him and gave him quizingly eyes.
Joryl was a little hurt by this question but deep inside he wished her sister would always be that strong because she was yet to face more challenges,this was only the start.
"Oh little sister you don't remember me?"
Teshmian thought why Hamnish didn't tell her anything about her brother.
Joryl told Teshmian that the trinklet always recognizes it's previous owner and that she was born on the 21 September. The trinklet was always his ,being the first born he would automatically be the next ruler of the Golden palace but that wasn't the case for them.The throne chose her sister over and so did the trinklet belong to you. Joryl was killed by their father and their mother never got to know the person who killed him. She still blames herself for her son's death. Teshmian just looked at him like he was reading a bed time story for her.
"So you still don't know?" Joryl asked her.
"What don't I know ,come on tell me," Teshmian tried to ask but Joryl was slowly fading away .
"I'm glad I got the chance to meet you little sister,"
"But where is mom if she isn't here and Hamnish told me she was dead...." Teshmian blurted out but Joryl was already gone
Joryl went just like that leaving her with more questions than answers ,just as usual whenever she came across her past she had more questions than the answers she needed. If she really had any chance to defeat Ilshay she had to dig deeper into her past ,a past that has left a lot of ugly scars. She decided that she needed to find the truth herself and not a story from some shape shifting dove and most of all she had to find out who her dad was . It was now time she went home and faced the reality of her life. She needed to find the magical staircase before sunset. On arrival the staircase had disappeared. This means someone had followed her and used the staircase before she could and trap her in the spirit realm. The staircase could only be used once and it only came up during the period of the bloody moon night. She had to find her way out of there ,she couldn't risk being trapped there. Teshmian even without thinking jumped from that place to the human world. She fell outside Lucian's place but luckily she wasn't hurt at all ,the trinklet protected her in a bubble.
"Lucian,Lucian, Lucian where are you?"
Teshmian was looking for Lucian but she couldn't find him. She was about to leave when she heard voices upstairs,from Lucian's room. She went there and was shocked with what she saw. Lucian,Ilshay together kissing . Teshmian was shocked with what was going on ,she hadn't even been gone for a long time and Lucian had moved on with his life. Ilshay was trying to get into Teshmian's nerves. She was all over Lucian and Teshmian was burning with jealousy after all she still had feelings for him.
"Lucian,is this what you want?" Teshmian asked him her voice breaking as she held onto Lucian's shoulder.
Lucian pushed her hand away and asked her to leave his house,with his face looking down . He couldn't look Teshmian in the eyes as he said this.
"Lucian look me in the eyes and tell me ....."
Before she could finish Ilshay held her by her arm and dragged her outside. Teshmian just carried herself and left with tears in her face , she couldn't believe it that Lucian could do this to her . But then we don't know what life can throw at us any moment.
