Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Diagon Alley Purchasing

When: July 31, 1991

Location: Diagon Alley

Character: Toby Regbo

Early the next morning, just as the sun rose, Toby got up. Under the service of the house elf Teemo, he began to wash and take a bath.

After putting on a new set of robes, he came to the restaurant. Teemo had already prepared breakfast, which was still an oriental breakfast. He had no interest in western food at all.

"Teemo, are you ready, we are leaving," cried Toby.

"Yes, little master, we can start now, please hold Teemo's arm firmly, little master."

Teemo quickly came to Toby from the kitchen and said.

Toby grabbed Teemo's skinny arm, Teemo snapped his fingers, and the two disappeared into the house.

The magic power of house elves is not weak, and they can easily disapparate people, especially their magic system is different from that of wizards, and they will not be restricted by wizards.

For example, in some places where apparation is impossible, such as Hogwarts Magic Castle, house elves can come and go freely. However, house-elves make much more noise than wizards when they apparate, and are easy to detect.

Although Toby could Apparate himself, he had already learned it, but since he had a house-elf with him, he didn't have to do it himself.

London, Borough of Westminster, Charing Cross Road.

The entrance to Diagon Alley, where the Leaky Cauldron is located, is a small, run-down hotel and bar.

In the Leaky Cauldron, because it was still very early, there were not many customers in the store. There was only a bar owner who had almost stripped his hair and looked like a shriveled walnut, wiping wine glasses at the bar counter.

His name is Tom Abbott, and he is a member of the Abbott family.

The Aibo family is a pure-blood family, one of the twenty-eight holy families, and the Leaky Cauldron is the property of the Aibo family.

"Crack!"

With a crackling sound in the bar, the figures of Toby and Teemo appeared in the bar.

"Oh! Look who this is, Mr. Regbo, you are in Diagon Alley again."

The sudden crackle startled old Tom, the pub owner, jumping.

"Good morning, Mr. Tom, I have received the Hogwarts admission letter, and I came to Diagon

Alley today to purchase admission supplies."

Toby replied that he had been to Diagon Alley more than once, and he knew Old Tom, the owner of the Leaky Cauldron.

"Oh yes, the new Hogwarts school year is about to start again, and it seems that many new students will arrive in the past few days."

"Mr. Regbo, have you had breakfast? If not, you can use some here. It's still early," said old Tom.

"Thank you, but I've already had breakfast. I want to go to Diagon Alley to shop as soon as possible, and I can go back early."

Toby replied.

"Okay then, I wish you a good time in Diagon Alley."

Old Tom shrugged slightly.

Toby took Teemo to the backyard of the Leaky Cauldron, which was a courtyard surrounded by walls, with nothing but a trash can and some weeds.

Teemo stepped forward and tapped the wall above the trash can three times with his fingers, the wall shook instantly, and finally a passage was revealed.

"Diagon Alley."

Toby looked at the street ahead and read softly.

Diagon Alley is the most prosperous place in the magic world of Eagle Country. There are all kinds of shops here, and Gringotts, the wizard bank, is also located here.

"Teemo, let's go."

Toby entered Diagon Alley, and Teemo followed Toby closely.

The archway behind them began to narrow and then reverted to a solid wall.

Since it is still early, there are not many wizards in Diagon Alley, but all the shops are already open.

"Let me see what I need to buy?"

Toby took out the list that came with the Hogwarts admission letter, which listed the items that new students need to buy.

"Teemo, we can go to Madam Malkin's robe store first."

Toby said.

"Yes, little master."

Teemo has no objection, the bounden duty of the house elves is to obey the master's orders, and take pride in it.

Toby took Teemo into Mrs. Malkin's robe shop. As soon as she entered the store, Mrs. Malkin greeted her. She was a short, fat witch with a big smile and a purple robe.

"Want to buy a Hogwarts school uniform, my dear? This is the best clothing store in Diagon Alley."

"Yes, ma'am."

Toby replied.

"Okay then, please stand up here."

Madam Malkin asked Toby to stand on a footstool, and then an automatic measuring tape flew to Toby and began to measure.

"Oh dear, don't worry, it will be fine soon."

Madam Malkin started to make a robe for Toby. The style of the robe is very simple, so it doesn't take long.

"Ma'am, I hope you can make my robe a little bigger. I'm growing now, and maybe I won't be able to wear my robe in less than one school year."

Toby said that at this age, it is the stage of rapid development, and the body grows very fast.

"Oh, of course you can."

Mrs. Malkin immediately agreed.

"By the way, ma'am, I still need to buy an adult black robe as a gift."

Toby said again.

"Of course! Of course! That's all right."
