The doorknob remains adamant as I continue to wriggle it open. I push my heels off my legs, using the base of my toes to push forward and pull the doorknob backwards but it wont bulge.
"Are you kidding me?!" I scream at the door, banging my fists on it in annoyance.
"Ow-" I draw in a sharp breath in pain and blow cool air to my hand that's now turning blue.
"Just- open..ngh" my hand find the door handle again, twisting it backwards but it remains unopened.
I move three step back, fixating on the door and with great force, I rush towards the door with my hands in front of me, twisting the handle again.
This time, my hands slip from the knob, landing me on my butt as I lose balance.
I remain on the floor, glaring at the door with a defeated look on my face as my mind flashes back to the events of the previous night.
