"Eirlys, please help me." The voice calls out again and I snap my head to different directions, fear gripping my insides as I sweat profusely.
My hands are shaking besides me and it feels like the clouds are closing in on me. I gather my dress in my hands and begin to run again and after sometime, I'm back to where I started from- in the middle of the mansion.
"Eirlys. Help." The whisper attacks my ears again and I shut my eyes, placing my shaky palms over my ears to stop the shrill cry of the unknown woman calling out to me from nowhere.
For a second, the world goes silent and I take a deep breath, inwardly thanking the stars for the their help. With my eyes still closed, I remove my hands from over my ears and wait for any sound. When I don't hear any, I slowly open my eyes and my heart nearly leaps out of my throat at the sight in front of me.
