Chapter 4 - Daily Morning Life of a Great Being:

Elias woke up in his apartment at 5:30 A.M., never sleeping in, and capitalized on an 18-hour and 30-minute day.

This feat of Elias was nearly at the human limits, which some people can max out at 19 hours a day and five hours of sleep.

Elias could easily do this, too, but he believes the extra relaxation necessary for his body will give him better energy.

Nonetheless, the ancient heretical beast that he was dares not squander a moment after realizing at 4 years of age that the human life span was only about 100 years.

'Now,' Elias drifted into his morning thoughts, 'this Ruler of a World needs grub and morsels from his fletching servant, Ava; this weakling. . . even weaker than a blade of grass, she will be left wondering how she died to a herbivore in the fields.'

Elias vents his morning voice in a slightly raised tone to loosen the muscles. "Ava! Get me this day's tribute, and you better be doing the body training method I taught you; we will have a light 'exercise.' "

Ava is half asleep despite going to bed an hour and thirty minutes ahead of her master, clocking a 17-hour day. Despite this, Ava is up, awake, and finishing breakfast.

Elias enters the kitchen after dawning a rich black silk robe and still in casual pajamas made of cotton, with slippers in tow. "Ava, I told you coffee and that fungus they call the "Potato" is bad for you. They will slowly bring you to the hoard of the bugs you fear so much as they drag you to your. . . grave." Elias says in an eerie tone, for fun, but is completely serious.

Ava responds without missing a beat or the slightest bit of fear.

"Young Master Elias, the world is taking everyone there anyway. I need the coffee; I can barely keep up with your hours. The potato is not a fungus even if it grows like one."

Elias mentally retorts, 'Coffee aside, the potato growing like a fungus makes it a fungus. All molds are harmful to an individual. That is an insight of mine that I remember clearly.'

Elias's tone lightens: "And Ava, as always, thank you for cooking for me in the morning. Run into any bullies, tell me."

Ava's cooking was by far the best that Elias could get as a 6-star Chef (the bar has risen since the time of 5-star chefs). Ava had no shortage of employment. If it were not for his mother, Naomi, who is magnanimous and affluent, he would not have enjoyed the privilege of being served by a 6-star chef.

The key to being a 6-star chef lies in mathematics and nutrient analysis. Not everyone could do it, as the skills required varied with each person they cooked for.

Ava had cooked at least two big plates of a variety of dishes, like grapes, prepared oranges, sliced bananas, and two entrees. Elias noticed that the most significant power in this world was cooking, especially getting at least five vegetables or fruits a day or a combo of the two. He leaned towards fruits, which was unsurprising as an animal in his previous life.

Reduced to this, the great Vermillion Badger-Hawk was in a sad state. It would depress any former ruler to be a shadow of what they once were.

Elias clenched his fork. ' Three years from now, I will have to change the nutrients in my routine. These humans are so weak that they can barely resist the food they eat. At 25, I will run out of options, too.' Elias thinks to himself.

Elias devoured his meal rather quickly, then got out a book on history; knowledge was power, at least for humans. He waited for Ava to finish her meal.

After the meal, Elias flattened Ava. Although he did not injure her, she was no match for him. Their spar was more like a slow dance. As Ava lay on the mat of their apartment sparring room, Sophia was causing waves elsewhere; crushing Elias was the only thing on her mind, let alone the top 5. She planned to keep him out of the top 20 in the upcoming game.

Two weeks. . . Let us introduce Sophias Talents over the next two weeks.
