The kids looked at the sky in awe. The night view looked beautiful.... The village in the downside also looked beautiful in the night. The kids sat around and looked at the sky for sometime.
"Come here!!" De Longjun took his phone and called bodyguards.
Hearing it, some of them came within minutes.
"Arrange some barbecue here!" He instructed.
The guards lightened up the fire and a barbecue table near it.
"Wow!! You awe going to fy meat!!" Zan Guiying got exited.
"Don't go near the fire Yingying!!" De Hua instructed.
"Yes!! I won't go!!" She promised. "I wiw wuk at it fwom faw!!"
"Brother makes amazing barbecue!!" De Genji told Chang Mingxia.
"Is it?!"
"Yes!! Wait and watch!!"
All the kids sat around the bonfire.
"What should we play?" De Haoyu asked.
"We can sing some songs or play card game!!" De Genji answered.
"Does anyone have cards for it?" De Haoyu asked.
"Don't underestimate your brother! Xi Haoyu!!" De Longjun walked and opened a box and took cards. They played with it for sometime. But Zan Guiying didn't play. She sat with De Longjun and looked at his cards. When they got bored of it, they began to sing songs and played pillow pass. Like that, time passed.
The coal in the barbecue fire has gotten inough heat. So De Longjun stood up. "Then I should make some barbecue." He told them.
"Bwothew I awso want to come with you!!" Zan Guiying got clingy.
"It could get dangerous Yingying!! So it's better if you sit here!!" He told.
But Zan Guiying didn't let go of De Longjun. At last he had to agree with her stubbornness. He agreed with her on the condition that she won't touch anything and won't go near the fire. She nodded yes to all of these conditions.
For the barbecue, there was chicken, pig, beef and some vegetables.
"Let me heat up some food for us!!" De Longjun lighted a stove. He took some boxes and opened it.
Wonton Soup, Chinese Spicy Hot And Sour soup, Kung Pao Chicken, sticky rice, Ma Po Tofu, Lo Mein Noodles and fried rice.... These were slowly heated up.
Everyone was getting hungry because of the food smell.
"Let's eat now!!" De Longjun informed them.
"Wow I was so hungry!!" De Genji and De Haoyu walked faster than anyone else.
"I am going to enjoy this food with showing no table manners!!" De Haoyu declared.
De Longjun looked at him.
"Or not....!!" Looks at his brother, De Haoyu said slowly.
De Hua looked at him and chuckled.
"It's not a problem. You can eat as you like!! I won't judge you!! Remember it's one of the free days you get!!" De Longjun said.
"Yaaa!! Thank you brother!!" De Haoyu got happy again.
Zan Guiying turned clingy again. She wanted De Longjun to help her to eat. Hearing it, De Longjun began to give her some food with his chopsticks. When he looked around, he saw his siblings also looking at him expectantly. He laughed and also gave them with his chopsticks. The children looked so harmonious.
Would he also give food to me? Chang Mingxia looked at De Longjun. But he didn't do it. He then again focused on himself and Zan Guiying.
He didn't even give it to me!! He only gave it to Zan Guiying!! What is so special about her? She thought angrily. Nobody hasn't noticed, but something is happening between them for sure. I should remember to tell this to mom!! She decided again.
After dinner, they again sat around the bonfire. "What should we do now?" Chang Mingxia asked.
"We can tell ghost stories!!" De Haoyu suggested.
"Ghost stories!! It's a great idea!!" De Genji agreed with him.
"But Yingying is afwaid of gwost!!" Trembling, Zan Guiying moved near to De Longjun.
"Yingying!! It's the thrill of camping. If you get afraid, you can sit with anyone!!" De Hua suggested.
"Mm... Okay!!" Zan Guiying agreed reluctantly.
"Okay then let me tell the story!!" Everybody turned silent.
"Long time ago.... A singer left for a music programme in the city..... After the programme, he decided to return to his home without staying there..... But when he started his return journey, his vehicle got stuck in nearby marshland. So he decided to walk untill he reaches to a motel or house nearby....." De Hua stopped and looked around him. Everyone was keenly hearing his story. Zan Guiying was sitting in De Longjun's lap... The girls are sticking close to reach other. The cicadas are making noise..... The wind blowed... It was a pure silence.
"At last he found an old motel. There were people drinking and eating in there. The singer decided to ask for a mechanic. But he got answer that that the mechanic will only arrive three days later. The singer decides to stay there for three days. He asked for a room. The motel manager gave him a key to a room. But the singer wanted the room opposite to it. But the manager rejected it saying that the room was forever locked and nobody can stay in it. The singer thought the room was going under a make over. So he bought the key the manager given him and climbed the stairs..... When he reached his room, the curious singer looked at the opposite door. Do you know what he saw?!" De Haoyu asked.
"No!!" Everyone except De Longjun said in union.
De Longjun smiled looking at them. In his lap, Zan Guiying is squirms in fear.
"He saw the door was locked. So the singer entered his room and ate his dinner after sometime and slept. At night... The singer heard some noise in the next door. When he looked at his watch, it's twelve o'clock. He listened to the voice.... He heard someone playing piano. The singer got confused and opened his door. But the next room's door was locked. He got confused. Then who was playing piano? He decided to look inside...."
The girls are hugging each other...
"When he looked inside, he only saw a red painted room. Believing it was nothing else, he goes to sleep. In the next day also same thing happens.... Hearing the piano, he looked again but only a red paint was seen inside nothing more. But the singer was not an idiot. The next night, the singer didn't go to his room but locked it and decided to stay near the opposite room.... At night twelve o'clock, he then again heard the piano playing.... It was definitely from this room. So he then again looked through the keyhole what he saw saw a lady was playing piano. Her back was against him. So he couldn't see who it was. Next day was his last day there. On checking out, he asked the manager. "I saw a women playing piano in the opposite room! Who is she? Why are you trying to hide her?" The manager was surprised. He denied it. But the singer got angry. So they both goes to that room and opens it. But.... There was nothing in that room, not even a piano and the room was not red but white. Then the manager locked back the door. "But there was some there!! I saw it!!" They both reach back in the reception room. Then the manager explains it. "Sir! Years before, a princess came to this motel during a journey. She was a pianist. On that night, she killed herself in that room.... After that many people said they heard someone played piano in that room. So it was locked after that...." The singer got surprised hearing it. "And also sir!" The manager continued... "I have heard the princess was so beautiful. And she also had a unique feature.... She had red eyes!!" De Haoyu looked at all of them and said slowly.... "Then the singer understood something..... Every time he looked through the keyhole.... The ghost was looking back at him.... The red colour he saw was not actually paint, but it was the princess' red eyes.....!!"
"Aaaaahhhh!!!!" The girls screamed their throats out....
