"Sit here." He said, pointing at the sofa.
'Its not like that I thought.' She thought.
But she felt sad. Maybe because she expected too much.
"What?" Both of them sat in the sofa and she asked.
"It's that..." He paused.
He looked at him expectantly.
"I am sorry." He looked at her and apologised. She gaped and understanding she did that, closed her mouth suddenly.
"Why?!?!... Why are you apologizing to me?" She asked.
"I am... I am sorry for saying that."
"What?!"
"In the cafe....."
'You know I don't love you. I only have Li Kexin in my heart.' She remembered.
"But whatever you told, it's the truth." She assured him.
"But, Bo Ehuang..... It's not like that." He continued.
"I am sorry that I said things like that."
She looked at him.
"I shouldn't have said that. When your proposal came, I was so much angry at my father. That is why I said things like that to you."
"Okay."
"I know we have to start a family sometime in future. I can't tie you up in this marriage without any love or relation... And we were childhood friends. I have yet to see as my wife."
"I know."
"I decided to marry you when you showed your love and care for yingying." He continued.
She understood what he meant and patted his shoulder.
He took her hand from his shoulder and covered with his.
"So please be patient with me... Bo Ehuang.... Give me some time to form a connection with you, like a married couple.... Give me some time to get myself to move from her memories.... Okay?"
At that moment she understood that he was too much lonely to feel love.
She hugged him and patted his back.
"Zan Tengfei... It okay if you let it out, it's okay if you didn't see me as your wife, I will wait for you.... I will wait for you untill the day you see me as your wife..... I will wait for you untill you are ready....."
He hugged her back." Thank you Bo Ehuang.... Thank you for understanding me."
' I love you Zan Tengfei.... I would try my best to fill you with happiness... To make you smile more.' She promised herself.
After hugging for sometime, they let each other go.
He stood up and too the pillow and blanket from the floor.
"Come and sleep in the bed." He said.
She looked at him, questioning.
"I promised that I would try. It's the stepping stone to that promise."
She nodded.
She walked and sat in their bed.
"I have to do one more thing." He walked towards their bedside table and opened its drawer.
It was the wedding photo of Zan Tengfei and Bo Ehuang.
"Its place is not inside this drawer."
He showed that photo to her and placed it in bedside table.
"It's another step." He said.
He lay down on the bed. They looked at each other and smiled.
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
She looked at him for sometime. But she noticed something.
Eventhough he wished her goodnight, he didn't close his eyes.
He looked at the central area of bed for sometime and sighed.
She also followed his gaze. She understood what it is. "Wait here." She said.
She got up from bed and walked out of their room.

Like always, after dinner Zan Guiying changed to her night star pyjamas and tied her hair with the help of her nanny.
Then she jumped from her dressing table and began to walk towards her father's room.
"Where are you going young miss?" Her nanny asked.
"I am going to daddy." She replied in her cute voice.
Grandpa Zan already informed nanny to keep yingying in her room.
"But today young miss can't go to master bedroom."
"Why?"
"I sleep with daddy evwyday."
"Young miss knows today young miss's daddy got married...! Right?"
"Yes."
"And grandpa Zan already informed that today Young miss's father giving a surprise to young miss's mother."
"Yes.... But it was in the aftewnoon."
"Sometimes giving surprises often continued till night."
"Oh!!! Is it?"
"Yes young miss. So could you give them some more time?"
"Well.... Yingying is bwave. I could sweep awone without daddy."
"Yes young miss... We all know our young miss is brave. So..... Can we go to sleep?"
"Yes." She agreed reluctantly.
Her nanny tucked her in.
"Goodnight young miss."
"Goodnight nanny."
Nanny turned of the main light and turned on the bedside lamp. She left the room and closed the door.
After sometime.....
'Daddy didn't came to give me kissy kissy. Daddy never came to tell me a bedside story.' Laying in bed, Zan Guiying thought sadly.
It was her first time sleeping without her daddy. She twisted and turned and couldn't sleep. She began to look at the fluorescent stars in ceiling.
'Why didn't daddy come.....?' Her eyes started to fill with tears.... It began to ooze out from her eyes.
Suddenly she heard a knock.

Bo Ehuang walked towards Zan Guiying's room. She understood that Zan Tengfei is missing his daughter.
She should be also missing him for sure. She thought.
She knocked the door and opened it.
Inside the room only bedside lamp was lit.
There was a bundle in the center of bed.
She switched on the light. A face glistening with tears came to her view.
"Oh! My! What happened yingying...?!? Why are you crying?!?" She ran towards bed and took Zan Guiying in her arms. She wiped her tears.
"Yingying was afwaid!! Daddy didn't come towday." She sobbed.
"Daddy didn't gave me a goodnight kiss. Yingying was so sad." Rubbing her runny nose she continued.
"Mommy is so sorry yingying...." She put the kid in her lap.
"Actually daddy miss yingying too." She said.
"Weelly?"
"Yes really. Daddy let mommy came to fetch yingying to our room."
"But gwandpa and nanny said daddy is giving you a suwpwize."
"The surprise is over yingying. Now we can go."
"Did mommy liked daddy's suwpwize?"
Bo Ehuang smiled. "Yes, very much. Now... Can we go to the room?"
"YES!!" Zan Guiying said excitedly. Both of them walked towards Zan Tengfei's room.

'Where is she?' Laying in bed Zan Tengfei thought. It's been sometime when she was gone.
Then some one knocked door and opened it. It was Bo Ehuang and Zan Guiying.
"Daddy.....!!!" She ran and jumped to the bed.
"Baby!!! Didn't you sleep?!?" Taking her in his arm, he asked.
"Daddy didn't come. Daddy didn't kiss yingying.... Daddy didn't tell guwddnight to yingying. So yingying was so sad." She pouted.
Bo Ehuang sat in the end of the bed and looked at the father and daughter.
"Daddy is so sorry yingying. Would you accept daddy's sorry."
She faked her anger and looked at her father.
"Mhm... Yingying would accept daddy's apwowgy... But daddy should tell me two stowies."
"Then lie down. Daddy will tell you two stories."
"But not today daddy!!"
"Why?!"
"Tomowow yingying is going to big bwothew Jun's house."
Oh!! Is it?"
"Yes!!"Zan Guiying jumped up and down.
"Okay. Now come and sleep."
"You too." Looking at Bo Ehuang, Zan Tengfei said.
The three of them laid down.
"Daddy and mommy..... !!! Give me a kiss."
They both kissed her.
"Goodnight baby." They both said.
"Goodnight daddy and mommy."
She was tucked in. Zan Tengfei began to sing lullaby.
Zan Guiying's eyelids became heavy and she fell asleep.
"Thank you Bo Ehuang." He mouthed.
In reply, she smiled at him and closed her eyes.
He looked at her for sometime and closed his eyes too.
In that night the family of three slept, hugging each other...
