Grggggghhh!
Grgggh!
Gregg!
Harry wanted to run from where he was but he had heard the growls of the unknown monster. 'Why is this place squirming with monsters?', he asked himself with sweat dripping from his forehead.
Tap!
Tap!
The footsteps came again and Harry's body wasn't going to stop precipitating anytime from now. He quickly pulled his sword from his side and stabbed it into the trunk of the tree in one swift move. This had caused a feint sound to erupt but this sound wasn't going to be a problem if and only if the monster wasn't sensitive to sound.
To his disadvantage though, the footsteps had started to approach the place where he was. His heartbeat skyrocketed when he had heard the footsteps heading towards his place of refuge.
'What should I do? What should I do?', he asked repeatedly after noticing that he could be killed by the monster if it notices him before he is able to react in time.
[Keep your cool boy. Today is your lucky day!]
Harry looked at the system screen with a disgusted look after reading what it was displaying. 'How can you tell me to calm down if I can die any second from now?', he asked telepathically.
[Stop the pointless yapping and open your eyes.]
'See who is talking about pointless yapping?', he teased while holding on tightly to the branch with both his arms and legs.
[Just open your eyes..]
'No! What if it is staring into my face and waiting for me to open my eyes just like how you want to me to open them?'
[Harry you worry a lot! All you have to do is open your eyes and you will see what I'm talking about ]
The purple lightning around the screen flickered nonstop to signify how angry the computer system was at the moment.
'Okay but tell me, why do you want me to open my eyes?', Harry finally asked while slowly opening his eyes to look at what the system was talking about.
[...….]
Harry pouted after releasing steam which was accumulated due to how he had pressed his face on the branch of the tree.
'Okay, I'm opening my eyes and whatever happens is on your head.'
[I don't have a head, dummy!]
Argggh!
Harry had almost jumped off the tree when his eyes had settled on the monstrosity standing under the tree where he stood.
It's green skin and ruthless aura surrounding it had caused him to shake a little but he forced his body to stand its ground.
'What's that?', he asked telepathically after his heartbeat had calmed down a little.
[Fool! You don't even know what you are looking at…]
'Why? I'm I suppose to know everything I look at?', Harry blurted out angrily.
[Such a bummer, it's an orc warrior! Stupid!]
'Ahaa, oh, why didn't you tell me?', Harry smiled with a look of embarrassment on his face.
[Weren't you guys given the task to destroy these guys?]
'Yeah, the dumb,oh, beautiful angel told us to do something like that.'
[You don't have to mistake your words, whatever you are saying about that bi-ch is true.]
'Do you have any grudges against her?', Harry asked with a smile on his face.
[Oh No, I have no grudge against her. I'm only helping you to express yourself much better]
Harry could have sworn that the system was teasing him but he wasn't ready to start a fight with it. With the position he was currently in at the moment, fighting with it was going to make him lose his balance.
Grggggh!
Grggggh!
The sounds came out again from the orc and in the next second it had turned towards the place where Harry was. Harry had stop breathing to prevent the monster from spotting him.
Sweat moved from his forehead and exited from his chin due to the angle at which it was pointing to. The bead of sweat journeyed down slowly and stopped when it had landed on top of the orc's head.
The monster reacted instantly to the sweat and had looked up to check what had precipitated since the sky was still radiant with the sun still doing its work in the sky.
Harry straightened his legs when the monster had raised its head. His heartbeat skyrocketed at the moment due to how fast moisture was leaving his body.
[Stop sweating buckets. You are going to blow your cover]
The system's words had knocked the air out of Harry's chest and he could see clearly that the orc had decided to turn its head away.
'Phew!', he exclaimed while wiping off sweat from his face.
Tah!
The sound though feint and almost inaudible had caused the monster to look up again. This time though, it had decided to climb the tree and check what was on it. It unwrapped a certain item from its back and slammed it against the trunk of the tree.
The tree shook vigorously when the attack had landed successfully on it. Harry looked down and saw that the orc had singled out the idea of climbing the tree from its mind. It was now holding a great battle axe and was using its sharp edge to cut the tree.
Harry's heartbeat skyrocketed once again after realizing that his end was near.
[Don't move!]
The system exclaimed once again to prevent Harry from making any silly mistake.
Grggggh!
Grgggh!
A new soothing sound emanated a few inches away from the place where the attacking orc stood.
Grggggh!
The attacking orc stopped its attacks when it had heard the voice of the incoming creature. A smile appeared on its face when it had seen who was coming towards it.
Harry turned his head to the side and could see a female orc moving towards the tree with a katakana on its back.
Though this orc was suppose to be a monster from the depths of hell, its hour glass shape had caused the male orc to smile. It had a couple of leather clothes covering half of the most delicate parts of her skin.
It had the unique green skin of the orcs and the two sharp but small canines which protruded out of its mouth. It's golden eyes sparkled elegantly under the light of the sun making her figure much more elegant than the normal orc. The freckles on her face had also highlighted her beauty with how pink her cheeks were becoming.
Its jet-black hair reminded Harry of his mother's own which he loved to look at behind her back.
'Are all female orcs like this?', Harry asked with a smile on his face.
[She is not a normal orc. Her aura is different from what I have from the data stored in my memories.]
'Is she like some sort of a princess?', Harry asked.
The male orc bowed down in respect to the appearance of the female orc.
[I think you guessed right for once in your life]
