Synopsis
A boy with a stone in his right eye, who, upon moving to Beach City with his father, discovers that the world is much bigger than he ever imagined. Now, he has the chance to figure out why he's so different from everyone else. ---- Hey everyone! This is my first fanfic and I hope you enjoy it! The story won't stray too far from what seems like "Steven Universe," but it won't be a copy of the animated series either. After all, if that were the case, you'd be better off watching the show. The story will change; after all, we have another half-gem, right? How does he feel? Who is he? Why did he come to Beach City? Who are his parents? What are his powers? Heheh. It's going to be fun! Again, this is my first fanfic, so I hope you like it. Expected in: "Steven Universe - White Diamond." English is not my first language. No harem, R18, but it's NOT focused on that, to have more freedom to write,I don't own Steven Universe; I'm using GPT to fix any mistakes.

Chapter 1 - Beach City

"This beach is really beautiful," I said when I first arrived. This place is truly stunning.

My dad and I just moved here, and it's funny how the hardest part is starting over, not knowing anyone. But... it's not like I have any friends to miss.

I held my necklace, the one that always reminds me of someone, the one that was one of the few things my mom left me.

Hahaha, I'm lost in thought again. I need to take another walk and grab some food.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a donut shop around here. I'd love some fries right now, but if my dad knew I was eating fast food for breakfast, he'd kill me... hahaha.

"Grrrrrrr... Okay, I need to eat something."

As I walk down the street, I can't stop staring at everything. Even though this town is small, it's beautiful.

So far, I've only seen the arcade, the fry shop, the pizza place, and the donut shop. This place is small and peaceful. I don't think anything special happens here.

Lost in thought again. My dad let me take a walk to explore after I unpacked my stuff. It's not like I have much, just my clothes, my phone, and the laptop my mom left me.

It seems old, but it's never given me any problems. It runs everything I put on it, never slows down. I don't know where my mom bought it, but it feels like something from another world. It's like—

"Tlin Tlin..."

I didn't even notice when I got to the shop. Lost in my thoughts again... Relax, it's not like other people don't get lost in their thoughts. I looked up, there were two people at the counter.

A man and a woman. The man is tall, seems cool, his hair is really cool, considering that he really... yeah, his eye bags have huge pierced ears. Doesn't that hurt? How did his parents let him... well... match his look... I guess. Based on the clothes I wear, I shouldn't be judging anyone.

And the woman, she's pretty... has blonde hair and black eyes. I think her most striking feature is her height... she's short, but I think it adds to her charm. They seem to be wearing the same shirt... matching? I think they're dating, a short girl and a tall guy. I wonder how they make sex-making look like the store uniform... stupid, stupid, stupid, dumb.

"Hum, how can we help you?" She looks at me with a friendly smile. It's funny how her smile makes her even prettier.

"Donut." Done, I said what I came here for.

...

Why are they looking at me like that? Did I say something wrong? No, she asked what she could do to help me, and I said what I wanted. It shouldn't make me look like a weirdo, right? We were silent for about 10 seconds. Calm down, calm down, let's rephrase the answer. Yes, an answer.

"I wanted a chocolate donut and a strawberry one, do you have them? Yes, good answer, but I need to say more. What to say? I know: 'How much is it? I'd also like a coffee.'"

"Ahh, sure, that'll be $5.00. Would you like anything else?" She answers me. Seems like it worked, they forgot the awkwardness I caused, and just stay calm, yes, that's it.

"Hey, you're new here, right? Never seen you before. My name is Lars," said the tall guy with the mohawk, with his feet on the counter. Isn't he afraid of getting fired?

"Hum, that's right, my name is Sadie. You're new to Beach City? Nice to meet you," she said with a smile on her face, but then she looks in Lars' direction. "Lars, get your feet off the counter, can't you see it might look rude?" They seem to be just friends.

"Okay, okay, whatever." He takes his feet off the counter. I liked this interaction, they seem fun. It even made me want to laugh at this interaction.

"Tlin Tlin."

"Looks like another person entered the shop," I thought.

Looking back, I saw a peculiar boy. He was short, shorter than the girl at the counter, and chubby, with a red shirt with a star in the center and a messy hair. But... what impressed me most was how my stone reacted to his 'light'.

It was strange, obviously. It wasn't the first time my stone reacted to people's 'light', but it had never happened with my 'stone' covered by hair. And... this boy has more 'light' than anyone I've ever seen... who is he?

"Hi, Lars! Hi, Sadie! Good morning!" He says excitedly. This boy seems energetic and excited. And... why is he going to an ice cream machine at this time of day?

"Good morning, Steven," they said to this 'Steven'. "And here's your order. Anything else?" The blonde one spoke to me with a smile. Well, it's time to take another walk around town.

"Thanks," I said, and when I was about to leave the shop...

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Oh, my holy stone, my heart! What was that? Who died?

I looked at the boy who had the most 'light' I'd ever seen. He's almost crying looking at an empty ice cream machine. Did someone steal the ice cream from the machine?

"Why? Where are the kitty cookies? This can't be happening!" It's like they took his child away. It's... even funny his face... his face is pretty cute, to be honest... but his light is like I've seen it before, almost like déjà vu.

"They're gone, Steven. They stopped making them," said Sadie. She seems to be hurt for Steven.

"Why did they stop making the best ice cream in the world?" Steven said, grabbing the ice cream machine as if his life depended on it. "Kids today don't know what good sweet is."

"They didn't sell anymore, Steven. It was weak. They couldn't compete with the Lion," said the tall guy, as he puts more products on the shelf.

"Aaaah, Lion, that candy is so bad... and it doesn't even look like a lion!" What the boy with the star shirt said is true, that lion is ugly, it hurts.

"Hahaha, if you like that bad candy so much, why don't you make it with your magic belly button?" Magic belly button? What does he mean by that? Maybe this guy made a joke when he was younger and because of that he got this nickname?

"It doesn't work like that, Lars." I didn't understand this dialogue until he lifted his shirt. "Right?"

And there it was, a stone on his belly button... I couldn't believe it, a pink one. But who cares about the color? For the first time I saw another person besides me who had a stone around their body, and this stone shone like a diamond, so much that I had to put my hand on top of my stone.

I didn't know what to think at that moment as I looked at the boy who was talking to the blonde girl. Only after a while did I see him pick up the ice cream machine, put it on his back, and walk towards me.

Did he see my stone too? No, that's not it. I'm in front of the door, so he's probably leaving. But when he got close to me to leave, he stopped in front of me.

"Hey, I haven't seen you around here before. You new?" He asked me curiously.

"Yeah... yeah, I'm new here. My dad and I just moved in." I was lost and my stone was hurting, but with every second the pain subsided. Who is this boy? Does he have the same 'disease' as me? I thought I was the only one.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Steven Universe. What's yours?" I was lost in thought, more than I normally am, but his 'light' was getting calmer. When my stone stopped hurting, I could finally think straight.

"My name... My name is Lucian."
