In interactive fiction, the reader is presented with OPTIONS where they can CHOOSE what happens next in the story, just like an RPG game.
These OPTIONS lead to different adventures and several endings that may be good, mediocre, or the ideal ending for the whole novel.

Whatever journey you embark on depends on your choices, and rereading the novel can lead to new adventures, each with their own unique twists and turns.
When presented with OPTIONS, the reader is supposed to go to the TABLE OF CONTENTS and choose the NUMBER which corresponds to that particular CHOICE.

But not all chapters end in choices, others would simply tell you to go to the next Part like so...
