Vex had to gather his rational thoughts. He was only trying to test what she was capable of. She mentioned that she's a general, but he was doubtful in her actions. He could push the button a little further. Just a bit more. Then maybe she would reveal to him what she was truly able to.
Instead of letting her go, he quickly bent forward and threw her on his shoulder like a ragdoll. In just a few quick strides, he reached the bed and laid her down. She bounced on the soft mattress, then without sparing any second, he caught both her wrists and intertwined them on top of her head in one grip. She was still in shock for what he did.
