Chapter 14 - “First Encounter in Summer”

Su Chenyi raised his head and looked at Lin Qianxia, his eyes flashing with surprise; he did not expect that Lin Qianxia would come to apologize on her own initiative; he smiled and said, "It's okay, it was just an accident."

Lin Qianxia breathed a sigh of relief, she felt that Su Tongyi was not as indifferent as she had imagined, she smiled and said, "My name is Lin Qianxia, I am a freshman in the art department, it's nice to meet you."

Su Chenyi nodded and said, "My name is Su Chenyi, and I'm from the computer department. I hope we can become friends in the future."

Lin Qianxia was happy in her heart, she did not expect that her first formal communication with Su Tongyi would happen in such an occasion, she felt a bit warm, and also full of expectations for the future university life.

The conversation between the two didn't last long, but this brief exchange gave Lin Qianxia a new understanding of Su Tongyi.

She found that he wasn't so cold, just a little introverted and silent.

She decided to use her enthusiasm and sincerity to get to know this boy and become friends with him.

Lin Qianxia gently pushed open the door of the dormitory, carrying a hint of undetectable tenderness, and stepped into this small world that would soon bear her countless dreams and memories.

She slowly walked to the desk, gently stroking the familiar objects with her fingertips, and finally stopped on the slightly worn sketchbook.

Although the cover of the sketchbook was unremarkable, it concealed an unknown secret - it contained a portrait of Su Tongyi's side face that she had carefully sketched, with an indescribable sentiment expressed in the strokes.

She slowly opened the sketchbook, and the painting seemed to have a life of its own, quietly staring at her.

Lin Qianxia's gaze wandered among the delicate lines, and the emotions in her heart surged like the tide, both gentle and slightly sour.

She realized that it was not just a painting, but a bright color in her youth, a gentle footnote to the first chapter of her college life.
