Chapter 7 - The Bet of Destiny

After choosing the glowing sword, Arya felt a powerful surge of energy flowing through her body. The golden light enveloped her body, strengthening her muscles and giving her the feeling that she could conquer the world with just one hand. However, in his heart, uncertainty still haunted his mind. Is this really the right choice? Will such great power bring peace, or will it lead to destruction?

Laksmi, who stood beside him, looked on with a gaze full of concern. "Arya, are you really sure about this choice?" she asked in a soft yet meaningful voice.

Arya turned to her, his eyes still focused on the sword shining in his hand. "I don't know, Laksmi. But I feel this is the only way to deal with all the existing threats." If I don't choose this path, I'm afraid this world will be more destroyed than we can imagine."

Laksmi sighed, her eyes reflecting deep concern. "But this power can change everything." Power like this never comes without a price to be paid.

At that moment, a voice echoed again from within the dark room, resonating around them. "You have made your choice, Arya. However, every decision comes with its consequences." Now, you must prove whether you can control this power or be controlled by it.

The shadowy figure that had previously vanished reappeared before them, its iron mask shining under the golden light emitted by Arya's sword. "This power will test you more than you can imagine." In the near future, your enemies will come, and they will not stop until they destroy you. "But, if you manage to survive, the world will know you as an invincible hero."

Arya looked at the figure firmly. "I will be ready. I will not back down."

The figure chuckled softly, the voice resonating with a tone full of mystery. "Are you sure?" "Sometimes, to save the world, one must be ready to sacrifice everything, even oneself."

After those words faded, the figure's shadow also disappeared, leaving Arya and Laksmi in a chilling silence. In front of them, the large door slowly opened, revealing a dark and winding path, shrouded in thickening fog."This... is the path that will take us to a further place?" asked Laksmi, her eyes still unable to believe what they had just experienced.

Arya nodded slowly. "We have no other choice." This is the path I must take.

They stepped forward, entering the increasingly thick fog corridor. Each step they took made the air feel heavier, and Arya could feel a great pressure in his chest. However, the glowing sword in his hand gave him a sense of calm. That power could guide him, give him direction.

Suddenly, at the end of the dark road, a voice was heard again, this time louder, more demanding.

"Arya, you have chosen power, but this power is not everything." Before you take another step, there is one thing you must know: the greatest enemy is not those outside, but those within you."

Arya fell silent, the voice echoing in his mind. He knew those words were not just an empty warning. There is something deeper, a test that he has not fully understood yet. He kept walking, even though his heart was now filled with a stronger sense of unease than before.

Laksmi saw the expression on Arya's face change, realizing the burden he was carrying. "What did you hear, Arya?" What did the voice say?"

"There's nothing for you to worry about," Arya replied quickly, trying to hide his hesitation. "I just need to focus." We have to keep moving forward."

However, Laksmi couldn't hold back her feelings. "Arya, I feel like there is something bigger waiting for us. This power... that sword... everything feels so unusual. "Are you sure you can control everything?"

Arya paused for a moment, staring at the sword in her hand. No matter how heavy that feeling was, he knew he had to move forward. They had overcome many obstacles together, and although the shadows of fear and doubt enveloped him, he couldn't turn back.

"I have to do it, Laksmi," Arya said, his voice full of determination. "This world can't wait."

They stepped deeper into the foggy corridor, treading a path that grew longer and steeper. At the end of that road, no one knows what awaits them. However, one thing is certain, there is no turning back.

Arya and Laksmi stepped deeper into the dark corridor, the air felt heavy as if each step carried a greater burden. The light of the sword shining in Arya's hand has now become the only illumination in this world full of darkness. Although his steps were firm, he couldn't shake off the doubts that constantly troubled his mind. The great power he holds now is not just a blessing, but also an unimaginable test.

""Laksmi," Arya's voice sounded faint, almost drowned out by the thickening fog. "What are we really looking for here? What is the purpose of all this?"

Laksmi, who walked beside him, gazed at the glowing sword with a feeling as heavy as his. "I think we are searching for answers to everything that has happened. Your power... is not only for protection, Arya. But also to discover who you truly are. Who has chosen you to accept this destiny?"

They both fell silent for a moment, pondering those words. Fate? Choice? Arya knew one thing for sure the deeper they stepped, the more he would have to face. In the shadows of the past, destiny had awaited him, and now he must fulfill it.

Suddenly, a rumbling sound echoed from the depths of the corridor. The sound was so loud, as if something very large was moving in the darkness. Arya and Laksmi paused for a moment, exchanging glances.

"What is that?" asked Laksmi, her voice slightly trembling.

"I don't know," replied Arya firmly, although his heart was filled with anxiety. "We have no choice but to continue."

They continued forward, and within seconds, the rumbling sound grew closer, more tangible. Suddenly, the fog in front of them parted, and a large figure emerged, standing tall in the middle of the road.

The figure was tall, with a body clad in dull black armor, like a creature made of shadow and fire. His eyes sparkled red, staring at them sharply. Each of his steps shook the ground, like thunder splitting the sky.

"Who dares to step into my territory?" the creature's voice thundered, making the entire corridor tremble."Who dares to step into my territory?" the creature's voice thundered, making the entire corridor tremble. The voice echoed, filling every corner with an undeniable power.

Arya gripped his sword tightly, the sword's light growing brighter. "I am Arya, the Incarnation of Lord Vishnu." I have come to face you."

The creature chuckled softly, its laughter echoing in the darkness. "The incarnation of Lord Vishnu, huh?" Your strength may be great, but you will not be able to defeat me. I am the guardian of this gate, and no one can pass without facing the true test.

Laksmi looked at Arya, her eyes full of worry. "Arya, be careful!" This is not just an ordinary battle. This creature... is more than just a guardian.

Arya stared at the creature with unwavering determination. "I am not afraid." "If I have to pass this test to fulfill my destiny, I will do it."

The figure smiled cynically. "Is it that easy?" This test is not just about strength, Arya. It is a test of the heart. If you fail, you will be ensnared in an illusion more dangerous than death."

The creature raised its hand, and suddenly, dark shadows filled the corridor, enveloping Arya and Laksmi. In the midst of that darkness, they heard whispers piercing their ears, voices filled with confusion and doubt.

"Arya... you will never be good enough." No one will forgive you."

"Who will support you?" All of this is in vain."

"Your fate has been determined." "You can't fight it."

The voices grew louder, creating chaos in Arya's mind. He felt suffocated by doubts and fears that came so deeply. The sword he was holding felt heavier, like an immeasurable burden.

Laksmi shouted, "Arya, don't listen to them!" This is just an illusion! "You are stronger than this!"

But Arya remained silent, his eyes tightly shut, trying to drive away the voices. In that darkness, a voice emerged, softer, calmer.

"Believe in yourself, Arya." Your strength comes from within your heart, not from external power."

That was the voice he recognized the voice that reminded him of God Vishnu, of his true self. Slowly, Arya opened his eyes and raised his sword firmly.

"This is my choice." I choose to move forward, no matter what lies ahead. My destiny will be determined by me!"

With the new power flowing from within him, Arya slashed through the dark shadow that blocked their path, spreading light that pierced the darkness. The creature stopped, surprised by the sudden surge of power.

"Turns out you are not just an Incarnation of Vishnu, but also a true warrior," the creature said, its voice calmer this time, yet full of respect.

However, even though the dark shadow disappeared, Arya knew that this was just the beginning. The trial is not over yet. Something bigger awaits them ahead.
