Chapter 1 - Transmigrating Into A Tragic Villain's Body

"Dad, you can rest in peace. Aunt, I'll take care of her from now on."

In the eastern suburbs of Imperial City, at Langshan Cemetery, a group of people dressed in black suits stood in silence. The man leading them had a handsome face, his expression solemn. Beside him, a woman was crying quietly.

"Brother-in-law! Why did you have to leave like that?" she cried.

"I haven't even learned most of your teachings yet!! I still need your training!" she continued, her voice full of sorrow.

The woman was striking, with a curvy figure and an undeniable allure. She appeared to be in her 30s, a prime age where beauty and confidence seemed to radiate from her.

The man let out a long sigh, taking several moments to process the reality of the situation.

"So this is my aunt, Ling Qingxiao?" He looked at her, impressed by her beauty and skill. "No wonder my family's wealth almost ended up in her hands."

Yes, he had transmigrated into this world.

The story he had been reading was titled After Returning to China, Seven Stunning Sisters Take Me Flying. It was a typical urban romance novel that he had just finished reading before going to bed. But now, he wasn't the lucky lead who had everything handed to him. Instead, he was Feng Xian, the tragic villain of the story.

Feng Xian, the son of Feng Zhongguo, the chairman of the Feng Group, and the heir to the company, had always been a playboy. His mother died when he was young, and his aunt, Ling Qingxiao, stepped in, rising to a high position in the company.

When Feng Zhongguo fell ill, Ling Qingxiao's influence over the company grew. Eventually, she even became the acting chairman. She brought her son, Zhang Lingyi, into the company and trained him to take over.

Feng Xian, though skilled in finance, had been too distracted by his indulgent lifestyle to pay attention to the company. By the time he realized what was happening—when Ling Qingxiao planned to pass the company to Zhang Lingyi—it was too late.

Now, Feng Xian stood at the funeral of his father, Feng Zhongguo. The cause of death? His father had overindulged with a woman, leading to a fatal heart attack.

Ling Qingxiao was poised to take over the company, and after a brief mourning period, she would pass control to her son, Zhang Lingyi. What most didn't know was that Ling Qingxiao had secretly adopted seven orphans—now all grown up, stunning beauties who had excelled in their respective fields. They had helped Zhang Lingyi reach the top, further securing his position as the future leader of the Feng Group.

As for Feng Xian, his fate in the original book was grim. Driven by jealousy and desperation, he turned into a villain, resorting to dirty tricks to try and claim the company for himself. In the end, his efforts failed, and he was imprisoned for his crimes.

Feng Xian clenched his fists as the situation began to make sense. If only the original me had acted sooner, I could've crushed Ling Qingxiao and kept the company under my control!

Now that he had a second chance, he was determined to rewrite his destiny.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted his thoughts.

"A country cannot survive without a king, and a company cannot function without a leader!"

Feng Xian looked up, seeing a group of middle-aged men—senior shareholders of the Feng Group—standing behind Ling Qingxiao. This was the moment when her power would fully take hold of the company, the critical turning point that would lead to the downfall of the Feng family.

The shareholders were discussing the future leadership, their opinions sharply divided.

"The eldest son should be the chairman," one suggested.

"No, he's too laid-back, and he's even said he doesn't want the responsibility!" another argued.

"We should go with Mrs. Ling," a third said. "She's proven herself capable. She's been running the company smoothly during the chairman's illness, and her experience makes her the right choice."

The words caused a stir among the shareholders, many wavering in their support of Feng Xian.

Feng Xian could feel the tension, his face growing more serious. So this is how it happens...

Ling Qingxiao, with a small smile, adjusted her glasses and turned to him, her gaze sharp.

"Feng Xian," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "You've always been content to sit back and relax. Don't worry, I won't force you into anything."

She paused, allowing her words to sink in. To her, Feng Xian was nothing more than a rich kid who had never experienced hardship. She and her son had worked tirelessly to build their power, and now, with Feng Zhongguo dead, she was ready to take the chairmanship.

"Since you all seem to think I'm the right choice, I'll gladly take the role of chairman," she said, tears building in her eyes.

Feng Xian smiled inwardly. This woman is ruthless... but she's not going to get away with it.

"Aunt, you're wrong," he said, his voice steady. "I'll be the chairman."

Ling Qingxiao's smile faltered, and her face darkened. "What did you say?"

Feng Xian didn't back down. "Aunt, did you not hear me? It's clear—both emotionally and logically—I should be the one to take the helm of the Feng Group. This company is still part of the Feng family, and it's mine by right!"

The room fell silent. No one spoke.

At that moment, a fat shareholder stepped forward, pointing at Feng Xian. "You have no qualifications! You've done nothing but waste your life! I support Mrs. Ling as chairman—"

Before he could finish, Feng Xian launched a swift kick, sending the man flying across the room. He crashed to the floor, blood spilling from his mouth.

"Who are you to object?" Feng Xian's voice boomed, sending a chill through the room. His presence was overwhelming—far stronger than his father's had ever been.

The room fell into stunned silence.

A few shareholders who had been critical earlier now kept their mouths shut.

Feng Xian turned his gaze to Wang Gang, the man who had dared to oppose him, and grabbed him by the collar. "You might want to call me a gangster, but let me remind you of a few things."

He then started listing the man's shady dealings—illegal invoices, kickbacks, and insider trading. The evidence was damning, and Wang Gang couldn't even speak, his face pale with fear.

"Do you still think I'm not fit to lead the company?" Feng Xian's voice was dangerously low.

Wang Gang trembled, the fear palpable in his face. He knew he was in deep trouble.

With a shaking hand, he slapped himself across the face. "I-I was wrong! I have seen my mistakes now!"

Feng Xian smirked. This is how it's done. I'll make sure everyone knows who's in charge now.

Before Ling Qingxiao could interject, Feng Xian kicked Wang Gang once more, silencing him. "Can I be the chairman now?"

Wang Gang, terrified, stammered, "Of course! You're the only son of Chairman Feng, you're the rightful heir!"

Feng Xian nodded, his eyes sweeping across the room. "And you all?" he asked, his voice cold.

This time, no one dared to oppose him seeing how skillfully he handled the situation and even listed down all illegal deed of the one who opposed him.

"Then, I expect all of you to support me just as you supported my father," he said, his words carrying an unspoken threat. "Don't worry, I won't treat you the way I've treated Wang Gang."

Feng Xian turned to Ling Qingxiao, a sly grin on his lips. "Aunt, what was it you wanted to say earlier?"
