~Author's pov~

Wait... is he smirking?

Brielle's heart skipped a beat when she realized Damian knew....

Damian slowly dropped his pen and was looking right at her. She had been caught. She couldn't help but smirk back. He had caught her staring.

But now Brielle wasn't even pretending, she was staring directly at him.

Damian met her gaze and leaned back in his chair, crossing his legs, never breaking eye contact.

Brielle was making the obvious more obvious, there was no more sneaking glances. His green eyes bore into hers with an intensity that made her breath catch.

The cool, calm confidence in his gaze made her pulse race.

Brielle held her ground, trying to look unbothered, but she couldn't deny the shiver running down her spine.

Damian eyes were mesmerizing, piercing through her, and his gaze made her feel like he could see straight into her soul.

It was an understatement to say that his eyes could kill, he is drop dead gorgeous.

She bit her lip seductively, leaning back slightly, matching his body language.

Damian leaned back on his chair still looking at her like what felt like hours but was just under seconds.

He was observing her directly to her face and maintaining eye contact intensely, he placed his hands behind his head and leaned against his chair.

Brielle quickly crossed her arms, trying to maintain her composure. Her fingers were trembling, but she wasn't about to let him see that.

'I'm Brielle I get whatever I want,' she reminded herself.

A smirk spread across Damien's lips, and just as she thought she might just loose it and melt under his gaze, but thankfully he broke the silence with his deep voice.

"You should be a photographer... Is that what you want to study?" he asked, his smirk widening, his tone light, yet dripping with a playful edge as he ruffled his hair and closed his book, casually tucking it into his bag.

Brielle chuckled at his flirty tone, her confidence returning. She tilted her head, never breaking eye contact.

She also turned to his direction much more than he did and slightly crossed her legs again to appear more attractive, still maintaining eye contact with him she softly spoke;

"No, not at all, handsome. But I like the sound of it from your lips. Why do you ask? Because I'm stunning?" she asked chuckling as spoke flirtatiously, raising an eyebrow.

Damian also chuckled still having his smirk on as he shaked his head in disapproval of her words, Brielle waited to hear him speak while her eyes beamed with joy.

But there was no denying the spark in his eyes.

Damian leaned back in his chair, hands behind his head, clearly enjoying the moment.

Brielle raised an eyebrow as she smiled, her curiosity piqued.

Damian shifted back, diverting his gaze from Brielle and slightly dropping his smirk to a smile, he brought his left hand up to his face involuntarily displaying his rings on his pinky finger and pointy finger, his ring too matching his silver addings on his outfit.

However two different names were written on the rings but she couldn't see it as it was in a calligraphy form with the same designs and structure but relatively smaller than the one on his neck.

Her eyes were instantly fixated at his Rolex that he looked at acknowledging the time on it

"No, darling....the stunning ones aren't always behind the camera,....but in front of it., i said it because... photographers are good at staring" He said, his voice almost tender.

Damian deep voice bringing Brielle's gaze back to his face, His words made her heart flutter, but she kept her cool, maintaining the flirtation.

'He likes me'

The thought lingered in her mind, a possibility she couldn't ignore.

He quietly and gently placed his hand on his desk, leaning against it and relatively looked down at her exposed thighs deliberately opened for him.

His smirk creeped it's way back to his lips seeing the way she fiddled her fingers, she immediately crossed her hands to avoid looking weird or weak like normal girls.

But just as quickly, he locked eyes with her. Damian's voice dropped back into that teasing tone.

" I'd still suggest you go for photography because honey...," Damian paused, his eyes narrowing slightly, a mischievous gleam flickering.

"You stared for 52 minutes..., and took my pictures without my consent....., Plus the 5 minutes you still used right now..., Damian said and occasionally paused, letting the weight of his words hang in the air.

"I could sue you." Chuckling to himself as he spoke up again, pausing at each sentence he made

Damian looked at Brielle now with a bit of mischief in his eyes which she seemed to enjoy.

but nevertheless

Her breath hitched at the realization her eyes grew a bit wider seeing him that he was aware of what she has been doing. He knew. He knew everything.

And yet, he said it like it was nothing, he wasn't even annoyed or feeling uncomfortable. If anything, it only made her want him more.

" So darling..., you used exactly 57 minutes of your time to stare at 'me' now you have only 35 minutes left ...., when you're suppose to be listening to your teacher hm?" Damian asked now raising an eyebrow with a hint of mockery and flirting a bit was evident in his tone

"Oh I'm not alone handsome you know?, you know, I'm not the only one not paying attention here." Brielle spoke

She was visibly staring at Damian's body and face again, noticing the way he pauses while speaking every time while he watched her sternly observing her every movements including her eyes movements.

"Hmm and why is that?..., Every one else here is paying attention to the lecture?" Damian voice deep and cold now mockingly with a little sense of flirt but enough to snap Brielle out of her stares and gaze at him.

Matching his stare and tone she moved slightly closer to him enough to feel their arms slightly brushing against eachother

She tilted her head to the side and glanced around the classroom acknowledging his point while she slightly nodded as she spoke;

"Well, yes, you're right. Everyone else is listening, but, neither of us are, are we?" She said emphasizing more on some words instead of pausing attractively like he does.

Brielle placed her hands on Damian's and smiled at him.

Damien's gaze turned more intense as he leaned closer, the space between them narrowing.

"How sure are you that I'm not listening, hm?" His voice was low, teasing, as if daring her to test him..

He nonchalantly withdrew his hands underneath hers and place them on his lap

Brielle watched his lips curl into a smile, but the tension between them was palpable. She could feel the heat of his gaze, the weight of every word that passed between them.

She pointed at his closed sketchbook. "You were busy scribbling in that book of yours,"

He sighed dramatically, then smirked again. "Well, fair point darling...I was sketching .....But I had a reason."

Brielle laughed. "Of course handsome,...everyone has a reason not to pay attention. Miss Anderson has a soft spot for you, though. She hasn't even called you out yet."

"Oh..., I know that already" Damian said with a dismissive shrug, his expression unreadable, bringing back the nonchalant look on his face.

She just smirked in return and nodded in approval of what he said.

"Well we're both talking....., And it doesn't seem like she has a soft spot for you..., Why isn't she calling you out?" He asked and glanced at miss Anderson visibly watching them but not speaking a word

Brielle laughed and watch her glare at her and she shook her head.

'Well jealousy??'

As the minutes passed, Brielle could feel herself being pulled deeper into this game, unsure whether she was winning or losing. But one thing was for certain: Damien was not someone who could be easily manipulated. He had his own plans, his own world. And she was starting to realize that she was just a small piece of it.
