Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Jason's mind raced as he stared at the news alert on his phone. Uncharted Island Appears in the Pacific. He couldn't stop thinking about it. The island he had imagined earlier—had he made it appear? Is it really possible for something like this to happen just by thinking about it? His chest tightened. For the first time again in a long while, he felt something stir within him—a spark of excitement, a feeling that hadn't touched him in ages.

He turned off the phone and threw it on the couch, his heart pounding as if it would burst. His hands were shaking, and he could feel the blood rushing to his head. Jason paced around the small room, biting his fingernails nervously, pulling them off in frustration. He had never asked for anything like this—well, maybe he had, but it wasn't like this. He was just a guy who stayed in his apartment, mindlessly scrolling through the internet. And now, he was possibly linked to an island that had appeared out of nowhere.

Jason shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. "Maybe it's just a coincidence" he told himself. "Gahhh! I know better!" The island appearing right after he had imagined it wasn't a random event. There was no such thing as coincidence when it came to this. It had to be me, he thought. 'It's realshit.'

The thought of it unsettled him, though. His fingers gripped the edge of his desk, knuckles white, as he tried to steady himself. Was he losing his mind? Or had he just stumbled upon something extraordinary, something that could change everything? A part of him wanted to laugh at how ridiculous it sounded—an island, created by mere thought. Yet the more he thought about it, the more he couldn't ignore the strange feeling rising within him. It was like he could almost feel the island, like it was something real and tangible.

He sat at his desk and rubbed his temples, trying to calm his racing thoughts. Slowly, the idea began to form in his head. If I can just control it.. The thought didn't seem as crazy as it did before but who knows what the thought was before. this power wasn't just a fluke "I was gifted by the God the one and only with this" What if he could summon more—make the island bigger, change it, add it own stuff and personalize it?

Excitement coursed throughout him. His heart started to pound rapidly again, this time with a different kind of energy. This was real something different. "This is power..." Jason pondered on his thoughts "Maybe everything isn't lost anymore." Maybe he could actually do something with this. He stood up quickly, pacing back and forth, thinking through what he could do. The possibilities were endless. He had always dreamed of being more than just a nobody stuck in a cycle of depression and failure.

Jason moved to the window, pulling back the curtains to look out at the city. The storm had passed, leaving a clear sky behind. The view was calm, almost peaceful. He let out a deep breath, his gaze fixed on the night skyline.

He closed his eyes, trying to focus. He imagined the island in his mind again—the way it looked when it first appeared. He pictured it clearly: the green hills, the tall trees swaying in the breeze, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Then, he started to imagine it bigger, much bigger. He pictured the land stretching farther, forests expanding, mountains growing higher, oceans widening.

Jason stood still, holding his breath, his mind focused. His heart thudded in his chest, louder than ever. He didn't know what he was doing, but he felt something stirring deep within him, like a connection to the island itself. He could almost feel the island listening to him, reacting to his thoughts. His pulse quickened. There was something there, something that he could reach if he just focused hard enough.

Minutes passed. It felt like an eternity, but Jason stood unmoving, his mind completely absorbed in the vision. He felt an intense wave of energy pass through him, as if his body and the world around him had connected on some deep level.

Finally, he opened his eyes, feeling a strange sense of power surge through him. He stepped back toward his desk, heart still pounding in his chest. His hands shook slightly as he opened his computer. His eyes widened as he saw the updates on the island.

It had grown. "The landmass that had once been small and isolated was now much bigger, stretching farther than it had just hours ago. Satellite images showed forests, mountains, and beaches—"exactly like the ones he had imagined. It was bigger, more real. "This is real, Jason".. "Oh my gosh…" He sat back in his chair, still trying to comprehend what he was seeing. It was like a dream come true his prayers answered!

Jason's mind raced with possibilities. If he could make the island bigger, could he make it into Could he summon resources? Build Cities? Entire buildings? "I'm gonna build a whole country" The words left him breathless. He could see it all now he finally understood it.

He stood up again, pacing the room as excitement coursed through his veins. "I can control it. This is crazy," Jason whispered to himself. He had the power to do anything, to create whatever he wanted. He didn't have to stay trapped in this miserable life. The island was his. A whole new world, right at his fingertips.

But even as he felt the excitement rising, doubts crept into his mind. How far could he push this power? What were the limits? Would there be consequences if he used it too much? What if something went wrong? And what if—what if something happened to him? Could he die while trying to control the island? Jason didn't know. He didn't have the answers yet, but he was too curious, too desperate to find out.

"Tshh, Like they say you only live once" Jason said bringing back his saying from the glory days

The thought of risk excited him even more. This was it my third prime. This was his chance to break free from everything once more that had held him back. His mind raced ahead, imagining the endless possibilities that lay before him. I could change the world, he thought, his eyes gleaming with ambition. "I'm going to create something that no one else could ever dream of."

He stepped away from the desk and looked around the apartment, realizing that his old life no longer felt real or would mean anything again most likely. The dusty walls, the stale air—everything felt small, insignificant. His old life seemed like a distant memory, something he had long since outgrown. It had all been a lie, a trap he got caught again. But now, the island was his it woke him up, and with it came the chance to build something greater and turn into another person. Something far beyond what he had ever dreamed of.

Jason took a deep breath and turned back toward the window, a new look formed on his face other than despair, hopelessness, and depression. "Its time to experiment" Jason said in a mischievous tune he was going to treat this like a game and troll and use his mindset that he use to use to conquer once more... "Forgive me God but many must be hurt again with this new coming and the use of the power you gave me"

He mumbled to himself as he stared out at the dark sky. "Now it's time to see just how far this will take me. What new heights will this put me at?"

Jason's lips curved into a smile. He was no longer just a man lost in his own head. He was a creator, a Disciple of God allowed to do his own thing while here on earth. And this island was just the start. The world was waiting, and he was going to change it. Nothing and no one would stand in his way and Jason would let no one stand in it.
