"..Again….and again.."

the  gravel,rocky ground below him crackled and echoed through the walls of the alleyway.

"..Again and again…a non-stop cycle..that's my life.."

thought 24 year-old Ashiguro Kumazaki.

"..Wake up…Eat…Train…Play…etc etc..All i ever do is relive the same cycle in different timelines..that we call days,months and years.." he continued to walk and talk to himself until he heard a young woman scream

"..huh?…"

he turns to see a Blonde hair Lady,thats not too far from his age,being surrounded by two individuals dressed in dark black clothing.

"..H-HELP ME SOMEONE!…"

Yelped the Gorgeous Blonde lady.

"..SHUT UP!.." yelled the guy on the right,gripping onto the ladies blouse pushing her against the brick wall.

"..I SAID GIVE US ALL YOU HAVE HOE!.."

the lady looked at the robber with wide,opened eyes full of fear.

"..Hey…" 

said Ashiguro ina annoyed tone.

the robbers turn to Ashiguro,so did the woman.

"..if your gonna rob someone wear something more flashy than the plain basic steriotypical robber outfit.." he says pointing at the two robbers dressed in black clothing.

"…Also tape your victims mouths so you wont be caught.."

he said looking down with a exhausted annoyed expression.

the two men looked at Ashiguro confused then looked at each other like they're sharing the same thought process.

"..W-What are you gonna do about this huh?…" said the guy on the left.smirking at the tired Ashiguro..

"..To be honest…i dont have time for this bullshit.." he sighed. "..i rather be at home right now watching television and, or, worrying about my rent being due…"

he looks down at the ground and then back at the two men and the woman.

he turned around for a moment walking away.but then he turned back looking at the 3.

"…But…unfortunately i can not ignore whats going on here…"

within a split second the Woman finds herself on her knees kneeling down.her legs feeling wet and damped.glaring at the cold floor beneath her,chilling her up.

a couple seconds later she notices something from the bottom corner of her eye.something that was escaping from between her legs.her eyes widening in horror as she realized…it was a red liquid.she looked up at the two men infront of her.her expression turns pale.the top of the mens legs had blood dripping down from it.they were cutted in half.she observed around her noticing a deep slash mark that carved the two walls by her.she turns around to find the other half of the men's bodys.she gasped in horror,terrified she backed away a bit staring at the sight before her.gripping her mouth with her hands,tearing up.then looked down at the blood that is on her legs due to her sitting in the pool of blood made from the mens corpses.

"..i suppose i went too far.."

said Ashiguro calmly.

the lady looked back,staring at him with horror.

"..W-WHO THE HELL ARE  YOU…WH-WHAT HAPPENED?!!.."

she yelled staring at him.looking into his soulless eyes.he tips the brim of his cap down looking down a bit at the ground.

"…Well…." he paused for a moment. "..its probably best you dont know.." 

she stood up panicking.fleeing the scene.

he would watch her run off.tears flying onto the ground as she rushed out of the alleyway.Ashiguro sighed and walked down another route.there was two paths where they were at.one  was infront of them(where the woman ran) and the other was to the left(where Ashiguro went).

— 4:55 PM—

November 8th,2024.

a bit later he arrived at his apartment.standing at his front door.

the sign on the door reading:

"…#201.."

he unlocked the door then opened it.entering into the apartment.he takes off his shoes,jacket and hat,leaving them in the closet.he walked to his kitchen opening his fridge grabbing out a bowl of refrigerated Ramen.he putted it into the microwave pressing the  1 minute button.after it finished he sat at the table,staring at the Ramen  with soulless eyes.he questioned his decisions earlier,how he could have maybe not slashed the two guys in half.after his meal he took a quick shower and layed into his bed staring at the ceiling.

"..Where did i go wrong?.."

he asked himself.

"..i-..am i who i say i am?.." he said as his eyes were lost in the ceiling

"..Am i-.."

--September 14th,2015.—

-Monday,2:35 PM.-

"..A-Ashiguro Kumazaki.."

"..Okay…" said the man infront of 15 year old Ashiguro Kumazaki, writing on a  wooden clipboard.

"…Andd what is ur gifted technique?…"

Ashiguro gulps nervously,looking down gripping his pant leg.

"….W-Wind…Wind Technique sir.."

the man looked back at his clipboard and started writing again.

"..Okay..So your a Wind User,Mr. Kumazaki?.."

Ashiguro looked at the man,nodding.

"..Y-Yes sir..i was born with a Wind. technique.."

"…Interesting…" responded the man

"..and..what exactly is your skill level with it currently?.."

Asked the man,glaring at Ashiguro

"…W-Well!..i could create wind that can blow away enemies and i could create a tornado..even though its a bit weak.."

the man nodded to the information,writing as Ashiguro lists what he could do.

"..Alright Mr. Kumazaki…in conclusion im not entirely sure if you will make a match for next year,at Alf's Sorcerer academy of course…but we will keep in touch with you..just keep praticing your Ability.." he said passing Ashiguro a buisness card.

"..i-…i understand sir…" 

He said taking the card,trying his best not to cry.

"..t-thank you for having me here.." 

ashiguro said standing up and bowing.

the man chuckled a bit 

"..No problem..have a good day Mr. Kumazaki!.." 

"..Y-You too sir!.."

Ashiguro stepped out of the interview room.he looked at the line outside.His Highschool partnered with the local Magic Academy for gifted students so that they could run interviews there to see who can get in next year.Ashiguro walked past the line and found his best friend Tashi sitting down ona bench waiting for him listening to Popular songs in Japan.

"..Heyy!…Ashiguro!.." Waved Tashi.

"..H-Hey Tashi.." said Ashiguro sitting next to him on the bench.

"..Soo How did it go?…did they accept you?.."asked Tashi lurking over Ashiguro.

"..W-Well they're not that sure yet.."

Said Ashiguro ina disappointed nervous tone.

"..Damn…For real?.."

asked Tashi.his happy expression faded to a confused,disappointed one.

"..i suppose they didnt find a Basic Wind Technique intriguing.." said Ashiguro,looking down hurt.

"..Hey..its gonna be okay man..they are missing out if they decline you!…" he says patting Ashiguro's Back.

"..T-Thanks Tashi..your the best.." He said as a soft smile crept onto his lips.

"..I knoww right???.." he said ina goofy joking manner.

Ashiguro chuckled a bit.Maybe there was a chance..he thought to himself.Maybe..i could do it!..he adjusted his glasses looking up at the sky,full with hope and determination.

later that day,he would walk home thinking to himself about all that has happened in his life.the brutal bullying,his little sister going into 8th grade,his father trying to study more about the magical abilities people around the world are getting and so forth.as he got to his place he unlocked and opened the door.

"..Im home!.."

he says while walking into the building.

"…ASHII!…."

Aniko screamed running up to him jumping onto him hugging him tight.

"…YOUR BACKKkk!~.." she said hugging him tightly looking down at Ashiguro.

"..W-Woah…h-hi..A-Aniko.."

she leaped off of him landing on the wooden floor.

"..Soo how was my Glorious Brother today?.." she said in a playful dramatic ish tone.

"..Whyy are you speaking like that-.."

he said pointing at her with a confused tired expression 

"..Becausee….your the royale knight of this-…never mind i see how you find this stupid.."

he sighed.

"…Also since when did leap frogging onto people become your hobby?…infact how are you so light?…im confused.."

Aniko stepped back gasping over dramatically.pretending to be offended by his question.

"…Well i'll have you know even though im older then i was when i were little im still light!.." she said.

"…Nevermindd…" 

she smirked at him and said

"..i…your cute little sister declare that you,Are a NERD!…"

she said teasingly poking him,mischievously grinning.

"…ev-even though your 14…you still act like a child.." 

she gasped dramatically again.

"..Alright listen here mister!…i am totally mature for my age!.."

"..Mature as in…what?.."

she pouted at his comment.

"..Atleast i dont Stutter and act all shy around people!.."

She yelled at  him colliding her forhead into his

"..W-WELL ATLEAST I DONT ACT LIKE A DRAMA KID!…"

the two fought for a bit until later,they were in the front room and the sun was going down.

—8:16 PM—

 they were in the dining room.Ashiguro was slurping on Ramen as Aniko stood by a kitchen counter,leaning on it while watching the TV.

".H-Hey…Aniko…when will Mom and Dad come back again?.."

asked Ashiguro looking over to her as he sipped a bowl of ramen.

"..Welll…i dont exactly know to be for real.."

she said looking at him casually.

"..K.."

he responded continuing to slurp up his ramen not really paying any more attention to it.

the news flashed on the Television.it talked about some sort of monster attacks.City blocks destroyed and multiple casualties.

"..Oh…Oh god…"

Whispered Aniko,terrified a bit from the newfound information.

"..W-Wait.." said Ashiguro staring at the television.his eyes widened in horror as if he had just remembered something thats related to the live incidents on the television right before them.

"…i-isn't…isn't that where Mom and Dad Planned on going for shopping.."

he said pointing at the screen.it was a well known shopping district in tokyo.everybody went there for the basics and the goods.

Anikos eyes widened in horror.she processed what he had just said.

"..W-Wait…Your joking…right?…"

Ashiguro stood up from his seat.walked up to the Television and pointed at the Street sign that was amongst all the debris and rubble.

"..Oh…Crap.."

The Television cuts to a familiar place.it was the block they live on(where they're at right now)

some purplish humanoid figured stood there cranking their fist back.as if they were charging a Attack

"..S-Something doesnt feel right.."

said Ashiguro,sweating like a pig.

the moment the figure swings their fist a massive shockwave happened causing all the houses nearby to get cleared out.

ina split second the houses's walls crashed in on ashiguro causing him to oush aniko out of the way of the area of effect.she landed on the wood floor looking out into the destroyed landscape infront of her.a massive hole with collapsed buildings on the far end.she started to tear up.

"..A-A…A-Ashi…."

she said staring into the view before her.

"..ASHI!…ASHI WHERE ARE YOU?!!.."

she got on her knees slamming the floor crying and screaming.

meanwhile.. Ashiguro woke up.he felt immense pain all over his body and heat.

"..AGHHHhh…W-WHAT THe HELL!.."

he looked around,barely able to move his body.his heart sunk the moment he realized he was sitting ina pool of blood..

his blood.he tried to move his right arm.he didnt feel it…

he looked over to his right in horror.

there was a massive hole in him where his shoulder blade would have been.

he looked upwards noticing his dismembered arm on the ground.

"..O-Oh god..oh god no..NO…NO..NO!.."

tears went down his face.he knew the outcome of this wouldn't be in his favor.he knew what would happen to him.no denying that he..is dead.

he doesnt know what would happen to anyone when hes dead,he doesnt even wish to think about it.

the gravity of the situation started taking its toll on him as he goes numb from the blood loss.he coughs up more blood as his vision goes blurry.

in the finale moments of his life he stared up at the night sky,admiring its beauty.

he slowly loses his consciousness.

the last thing he had saw..was darkness

Ashiguro Kumazaki..
