Yuuka: (It's the next day and somehow I'm still tired from all the walking I did yesterday.. Maybe I should do some more cardio.)
Yuuka, standing in the mirror looks to the side at the open bedroom door.
Yuuka: She's gone again huh? I guess she does work a lot..
Mrs. Oto: You ready to head out Yuuka dear?
Yuuka: Yeah, I'll head out in a second, just gotta make sure my tie is done correctly..!
Mrs. Oto: Ah that reminds me Yuuka, your sister left you a gift before she went out! You should come pick it up!
Yuuka: A gift?
After fixing his tie and checking his gift, Yuuka heads out and while walking down the sidewalk he stops to see a child on the bench eating ice cream.
Yuuka: She's there today again.. I wonder where she gets the money to eat ice cream every day. And doesn't she have school as well?
He looks to his right to see Maya sneaking up to him with her poor stealth skills, and he scratches his head in confusion.
Maya: Gah what gave me away!?
Yuuka: I just happened to look toward your direction at the right time, maybe next time Maya..
Maya: Anyway who were you talking about just now?
Yuuka: Oh it's... Hm?
When he looks to point Maya to the child, he sees that the child is no longer there, and all that's left there is two people walking by the bench, talking.
Maya: That girl? She's an adult and looks like she's in a relationship, of course she wouldn't have school Yuuka..
Yuuka: Hm.. I guess so. Let's head to school before we lose our saved time.
Maya: Yeah you're right!
They go to school and go through their greeting with Emi like always and Yuuka goes to class to rest until the teacher arrives for class to start.
Boy: Mister Fujimoto said he was planning something for the martial arts club next week so be prepared for a challenge Baruto.
Baruto: Ha challenge accepted, thanks for telling me but I don't need any early preparations you know!
Yuuka: (Hm Kiyotaka, Kimiko's brother is quite the guy. He's friends with everyone but doesn't have any outstanding talents like the rest of us. And Baruto the black belt, the only thing that's more fiery than his resilient personality is his bright red hair. Those two are great friends to have.)
Yuuka stops looking to his right at them and instead focuses his gaze directly forward at the two girls in front of him, one sitting in the chair with her knees up like a roly-poly, and the other leaning against her table chatting with her.
Yuuka: (Shiroha and Cherry. They're both really laid back, but Shiroha is my favorite. She has natural snow white hair, probably due to extremely low melanin, and she also has an almost identical personality to me. Cherry the standing one, is always hanging around Shiroha and is generally fun to be around.)
Cherry glances at Yuuka, noticing his stare before taking her seat to the right of her friend, before Shiroha sets her feet on the floor sitting more properly, and Yuuka rests his face in his left hand, waiting. soon the teacher arrives and proceeds with class.
Mr. Fujimoto: One last thing class, summer break is very soon so you'll have no school for that period of time, and clubs will continue depending on what the leaders decide. I'm not quite sure of all the details of summer break yet so I'll tell you some other time how long it will last and what will be happening going forth. You may now all be dismissed.
Time goes by and eventually Yuuka finds himself in a secluded hallway where he is suddenly confronted by a certain red haired girl.
Cherry: Hey Yuuka, I saw you were staring at Shiroha earlier in class, what was that all about huh?
Yuuka: What's with this question..? It's not like you to jump to conclusions so quickly.
Cherry: I was only joking, what were you planning on doing today?
Yuuka: I don't know, hanging out with Maya I guess..
Cherry: Well it's been a while since you hung out with me and Shiroha, we should totally do that again at some point. Not that I have the energy to nag you about it right now...
They both begin walking toward the staircase, and their laziness rubs off on each other from simply being in the pressence of one another. Yuuka's hands go into his pockets and he slouches while walking, while Cherry places her arms behind her head, leaning back while following him.
Yuuka: Hey why aren't you with Shiroha by the way, did something happen?
Cherry: Nah she just fell asleep the moment Mister Fujimoto said we were dismissed, She was snoring instantly.
Yuuka: typical Shiroha, literally being my spirit animal.. You probably shouldn't have left her there though.
At the bottom of the staircase, they are abruptly stopped by Kiyotaka, who has his arms flapping around in the air like a lunatic.
Kiyotaka: Hey Yuuka!! Have you heard about the challenge Mister Fujimoto was planning for the martial arts club!? I really hope you participate in it no matter what it happens to be!
Yuuka: Huh? Oh yeah I heard you in class telling Baruto about it. If it isn't a pain I'll participate..
Kiyotaka: Nice dude, I'm really pumped to see some more martial arts techniques used again!
Cherry: Wait aren't you the one who declined joining the martial arts club three times though?
Kiyotaka: Gyah why do you remember that!?
Yuuka: (To sum it up, Kiyotaka wasted more of my time than I care to say, and now here I am all alone at the entrance to Shibuya station, waiting for my friends to show up...)
Just as he thinks this to himself, Maya comes running up, holding Emi's hand tightly. Both of them have sweat on them and have clearly been running for a while.
Yuuka: Are you both okay?
Maya: Y-yeah, sorry we're late.. She couldn't find her glasses again!
Yuuka: I see.. I take it Kimiko's busy with family matters again?
Emi: Yeah I'm really worried for her, but she said everything's fine, so I'll believe her..
Maya: By the way, where did you get the silver watch from? It looks expensive..
Yuuka: Someone finally noticed.. My sister got it for me since she was out. Oh actually she was supposed to be around here somewhere today.. Anyway did you want to go shopping or use the train?
*Maya looks at Emi with an evil grin and then looks back at Yuuka.*
Maya: Well, we brought you here today so we can all see our favorite idol who happens to be on a business trip near here!
Emi: Before you get mad, it was all her idea!
Yuuka: I-idol...?
Just as he says this, an unexpected person yells out from behind Maya and Emi.
???: Yuuka!!!
Maya: Gah, what the-- I-is that..?
Yuuka: Yuna..
Yuna: Big brother I didn't expect to see you here!!
Emi: Wh- did she just..
Maya: Yuuka this has to be some sort of joke.. You're Yuna's big brother!?
Maya and Emi both start throwing punches at Yuuka's stomach which all don't really affect him.
Emi: You never told us you were family with the upcoming half model half idol, Yuna!
Maya: Yeah you mean to tell me you share the same house as her!?
Yuna: Big brother, who.. Are.. These random women!!??
She lunges forward knocking them out of the way like bowling pins before clinging to Yuuka's arm.
Maya/Emi: Aagh!!
Yuuka: These are my friends Maya and Emi.. And for you both, this is my younger sister Yuna...
Emi: Yuna we're huge fans!!
Maya: Yeah could you autograph my purse!?
Emi: Mine too!
Yuna: Your friends huh? Well any friend of Yuuka's is a friend of mine I guess..
*She reluctantly writes her unique autograph, mixed within a small heart design on both purses before clearly looking disapprovingly at the two girls.*
Emi: So Yuna has a strong connection with Yuuka doesn't she?
Maya: It seems so, she's being protective over what kinds of girls he hangs around.. She said something like that in an interview once.
Yuna: Well what brings you here Yuuka?
Yuuka: They wanted to meet you in person and didn't tell me beforehand.. Not that I could judge them with the way I avoided telling them about my sister being sort of famous..
Yuna: I see, how did you like the watch I gave you by the way?
Yuuka: It's nice, thanks Yuna..
Yuna: No problem!
All four of them spend time eating ice cream and chatting before Yuna has to go, and then the sun sets while they walk back home.
Emi Thanks for today Yuuka..
Maya: Yeah it was fun! Yuna wasn't like how I thought she'd be at all though. It was like she had something she wanted to say, but didn't ever speak up, you know?
Yuuka: Really?
Emi: It did seem like that.. Maybe she was just thinking about work?
Maya: Maybe..
Yuuka looks at the sky, a bitter look in his eye as he remembers something from the past, and soon enough, he's home in bed, nothing but the sound of silence ringing throughout his room as the crescent moon slowly rises, pulling him into a dream he was afraid of seeing again..

Writer's note: Being completely honest, I was half asleep while writing the ending half of this chapter, but hopefully it was still enjoyable to anyone who stuck around to the end. I made this chapter considerably longer than chapter 1 mostly by accident, but in case this ever does reach a lot of people, feel free to let me know any thoughts about the story you might have.
