Honestly, she still wanted to calm down and lower her ego so she could apologize to Elexon properly, without involving her personal emotions that were still annoyed with her uncle.
Yosan frowned, then without warning, he immediately grabbed Reina's wrist and pulled her. "No, you have to do it now."
"Hey—Hey! I can walk by myself!" Reina protested, trying to break free from Yosan's grip, but the man insisted on taking her.
"If it's left like that, you will definitely postpone it again and again," Yosan replied without loosening his grip.
Reina could only scoff in annoyance. She knew Yosan was right, but still, she didn't like being forced like this.
"If you don't want to apologize to him today, then don't expect me to allow you to sleep with me tonight," Yosan added, lowering his face slightly, which was now blushing with embarrassment. "Or... I also won't tell you what Uncle Elexon and I have agreed on."
Reina frowned, a little annoyed that Yosan was using tactics like this. However, she knew the man wouldn't back down from his words.
"Believe me, you will also feel more relieved after this," Yosan continued while walking, still holding Reina's hand so that the woman wouldn't run away.
Reina took a long breath. She didn't know if this was the right decision or not, but one thing was for sure, she couldn't avoid it any longer.
"You have to apologize to Uncle immediately...!" Yosan said firmly while pushing Reina's body, which felt heavy, as if the woman had suddenly turned into a Moai stone.
"Yosan, wait! I'm not ready!" Reina tried to hold herself back, her feet dragging across the floor with difficulty, but Yosan kept pushing her mercilessly.
"If it's left like that, you will definitely postpone it again and again," Yosan said in a flat tone, still pushing Reina towards Elexon's room.
Reina tried to hold on to the nearest door, but Yosan's strength was much greater. "I just need a minute! Five minutes! No, three minutes! Just one minute!" she whined.
"You've been postponing this since earlier, Your Majesty. Enough is enough," Yosan replied, the woman had spent too much time getting ready since earlier, without warning, he immediately opened Elexon's room door and pushed Reina in.
"Wow." Reina staggered forward, almost losing her balance, but managed to hold herself before falling.
There, they briefly saw how beautiful Elexon's body proportions were, especially his muscular stomach, as the man was getting dressed in front of the mirror. Elexon also seemed to have just finished cleaning himself, as seen from his still slightly wet hair. On the other hand, the man still hadn't realized the commotion.
However, the rather loud noise finally caught his attention. Elexon turned around with raised eyebrows. His gaze immediately fell on the two people standing in the doorway, Reina who looked half annoyed while Yosan remained calm.
"What are you two doing here?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest. His gaze shifted alternately from Reina to Yosan, clearly demanding an explanation.
Reina turned to Yosan with a blaming look. The man just smiled thinly before saying in a relaxed tone, "Your Majesty wants to talk to you, Uncle."
Elexon looked at Reina with an interested expression. "Oh? About what?" It was rare for the woman to want to talk to him first, even though she had deliberately ignored him before and even seemed reluctant to meet.
Reina shifted her gaze, feeling awkward. "I..."
She bit her lower lip, trying to compose her words, but her throat felt dry. She didn't expect to face Elexon this quickly. Moreover, the man looked fresher after cleaning himself, which for some reason made her a little nervous.
Seeing Reina still hesitant, Yosan sighed, then touched the woman's arm repeatedly to tell her what she wanted to say immediately. "Come on, Your Majesty. Apologizing isn't that difficult, you know."
Hearing that, Reina immediately glared at Yosan. Not that difficult? Seriously! For her, apologizing like this was quite difficult, especially since she had to lower her ego and dignity as a queen who had been known for her firm, cruel, cold, steadfast, and other traits that made her respected. Of course, she couldn't do it easily.
Plus, the man hadn't told her the contents of his agreement with Elexon. In a soft voice, Reina whispered, "Then tell me the contents of your agreement with Uncle tonight."
Yosan looked away and laughed awkwardly. "That... I still can't say it."
"Then don't say things like that to me if you yourself don't want to say it. You think this is easy, huh?" Reina folded her arms across her chest, her voice sounding annoyed.
The atmosphere was silent for a moment. Reina could feel her heart beating a little faster.
Elexon, who had been watching their interaction, finally crossed his arms over his chest and looked at them both patiently. "So?"
Reina took a deep breath. Having come this far, there was no turning back. She raised her head, looking her uncle in the eye seriously.
"I came to apologize, Uncle," she said finally. "I realize that I've been too stubborn all this time. I shouldn't have let my emotions control me, especially to the point of avoiding you like this."
Elexon remained silent, letting her continue.
"I know Uncle didn't mean any harm at that time. I was just... too angry and worried about Yosan," she continued, her voice softening slightly. "So... I'm sorry."
Reina lowered her head slightly, waiting for a response.
Elexon looked at her for a moment before sighing. He then walked closer, making Reina reflexively straighten her body. However, instead of saying something firm or cold, Elexon lightly patted the top of her head.
"You don't need to apologize like that. Uncle already understands your feelings and knows why you acted like that. Besides, Uncle had already forgiven you even before you apologized," he said softly, full of affection.
Reina raised her face, a little surprised. She didn't expect that Elexon, whom she had always considered harsh and calculating, would say something like that.
"Uncle isn't angry? Even though I scolded and said bad things to Uncle," asked Reina looking at Elexon.
Elexon chuckled. "Of course not," he replied casually. "But I'm glad you came to talk to me directly. It shows that you're growing up."
Reina puffed out her cheeks slightly. "I'm always grown up," she muttered softly.
Elexon chuckled again. "Alright, alright. Anyway, I accept it. Don't burden yourself too much with guilt, and don't hesitate to talk if something bothers you."
Reina looked at Elexon for a moment before finally nodding.
"Uncle also appreciates your effort to come here and admit your mistake. That's not an easy thing to do."
Reina lowered her gaze. For some reason, hearing those words made her feel lighter. From the beginning, she had thought too much and worried about things that weren't really necessary.
On the other hand, Yosan observed their interaction with a satisfied expression. He knew that Reina wasn't the type of person who easily admitted her mistakes, so seeing her try like this made him a little proud.
Elexon took a breath and glanced at Yosan before looking back at Reina with a mischievous smile. "Speaking of your question back then, you can ask Yosan yourself. Right, Yosan?"
Yosan immediately gasped, while Reina glanced at him lazily.
"He doesn't want to tell me and says he'll tell me when he's ready," said Reina in an annoyed tone.
Elexon blinked. "That difficult? Even though you just need to say that you—"
"Uncle, don't say it!" Yosan hurriedly silenced Elexon before the man could finish his sentence.
Reina, who saw that overreaction, became even more suspicious. She narrowed her eyes and began to approach Yosan slowly. "You're hiding something from me, aren't you?" she asked in an intimidating tone.
Yosan swallowed his saliva, while Elexon just smiled amusedly watching the two of them.
"N-Nothing, Your Majesty! Nothing at all!" Yosan smiled stiffly while slowly stepping back, trying to avoid Reina. His eyes glanced at Elexon, hoping the man would help him, but Elexon just observed with an expression full of entertainment.
Seeing Yosan cornered, Elexon smiled even more happily. Reina stepped closer, making Yosan seem more cornered.
"Besides, I just need time to say it actually," said Yosan trying to convince.
Elexon pretended to be surprised. "Oh? So you haven't told her yet, Yosan? Don't tell me you haven't told her the reason why you accepted that agreement?"
Reina, who heard that, immediately turned to Yosan with an even sharper gaze. "What did you guys agree on that time until you're like this?" she asked, now looking back and forth between Yosan and Elexon with suspicion.
Elexon, who now received an intimidating gaze from Reina, suddenly shuddered. He hurriedly raised his hands, took a step back, then said, "You two settle your own problems. Uncle doesn't want to get involved."
Then, without waiting for their reaction, Elexon immediately walked away, leaving Yosan still trying to avoid Reina's sharp gaze.
