In a dimly lit room, there was a boy with black hair with his head down on an old, wooden desk.
He opened his eyes. They were white. If someone didn't know any better, they might think he's blind.
"Where am I?", he asked aloud. Obviously, nobody was there to answer him. He stood up, taking in the surroundings.
The room he was in was quite old. Briefly looking around, he saw a bookshelf covered in dust, the desk he was previously at, a small bed in the corner, and a window covered by blinds.
Seeing that there was no immediate danger, the boy sat back down, and tried to remember where he was before this.
'Alright. Last thing I remember was arriving back at the room after completing my mission. Have I been kidnapped?'
'No. I would have woken up if someone tried to enter my room. Dammit Trey, think.'
After failing to come up with a reasonable answer, Trey gave up and looked outside. It was dark, and the only light came from the moon. For a moment, he thought that he saw 2 moons. He blinked, and the illusion vanished.
'I should wait until the morning to go outside, since it might not be safe.'
Thinking this, he sat down on the bed. He wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. Resting his eyes, time passed quickly.
Eventually, the sun poured through the window. Trey got up from the bed. He opened the door, and saw a forest stretching for as far as he could see. Alert, he stepped outside and examined the area he had found himself in. About 25 meters on each side of the room, there were other cabins. They continued in both directions. Trey froze.
Outside the cabin to his left, there was a body. Blood pooled underneath, and the body itself bore terrible claw marks. He immediately checked his surroundings again, but found nothing else. He approached the body. At a glance, he could tell the corpse wasn't too recent. They seemed to have died during the night.
The door was open, suggesting that the person had tried to leave the room during the night. Trey felt a chill run down his neck. The claws marks were huge, and only a creature like a bear could have done that. Thankfully, he had previously decided to stay in his room.
Trey cautiously peered into the cabin by the body. There were no obvious traces left by an intruder. He entered the cabin, clearing both sides of the doorway. It seemed safe. The creature most likely killed the resident and left. Finding nothing significant, he moved to the next cabin.
The door was still shut, so the resident was most likely still inside. However, the blinds on the window were drawn back. He peered through from a distance, not wanting to approach too closely. From the window he could see the bed, and there was a woman laying on it, seemingly asleep.
Confirming this, he moved on. Trey had no intention of approaching other people right away.
'The cabins are neatly layer out in a row, and the interiors are identical. It's quite possible this is either a sick play or experiment.'
While this may have seemed far fetched, Trey had seen many terrible things in his past job.
'It looks like I'm in for quite a fun time.', he thought.

Wow, I have a new found respect for authors. To be honest, I don't think this is my thing, but I may continue if I feel like it.
