On the high platform of Marine Headquarters, the once lively commentary station had fallen into a brief silence.
Jerry, struggling to close his wide-open mouth, stared at the dramatic transformation of Whitebeard below, his eyes burning with passion.
Fixating on Klee, Jerry swallowed hard, convinced he had found true love. After all, who wouldn't love a wealthy little girl like her?
"Jerry."
A soft call snapped Jerry back to reality. Turning his head, he remembered that he was still live-streaming.
Ahem.
Clearing his throat, Jerry quickly adjusted his demeanor, picking up the microphone again.
"Dear viewers, I sincerely apologize. I was so overwhelmed that I froze for a moment!"
"But I imagine many of you watching from your screens feel the same way. After all, we just witnessed the world's strongest man fully restored to his peak strength thanks to the treasures of our runaway little sun, Klee. He might have even achieved a breakthrough!"
"I'm sure we're all equally curious about Klee, who can pull bombs and priceless treasures from her tiny backpack."
Leaning close to the Den Den Mushi's lens, Jerry widened his eyes and exclaimed, "Frankly, I'm curious too!"
"Ohhhh!!!"
Suddenly, Jerry began shouting, startling viewers worldwide who were speculating about Whitebeard's transformation and the origin of Klee's offering. They quickly looked at their screens, only to see Jerry's distorted face.
The previously clear screen now displayed streaks of fresh blood, and the annoying broadcaster, who always blocked the battlefield, was inexplicably punched and knocked down.
Holding his mouth, which now had gaps where teeth had been, Jerry stared sorrowfully at the two large front teeth lying on the ground.
Quickly standing up, Jerry glared around, but he couldn't find the person who hit him. Casting a resentful look at the innocent cameraman, Jerry swallowed the blood in his mouth, smiled at the Den Den Mushi, and leaned in again.
"Dear viewers, look! Admiral Kizaru, who was knocked away by Whitebeard's second division commander, Marco, is moving!"
"It's unclear if the navy has a plan to counter Whitebeard's newly enhanced strength. And how does the newest Warlord, the runaway sun Klee, feel about aiding Whitebeard?"
In a sea of the New World, Kaido sat on a towering throne, watching Jerry's bloodied face on the screen. His forehead bulged with veins.
Smash!
Liquor splashed everywhere as Kaido stood, throwing down his shattered gourd. He roared at his subordinates below, "Hurry up! I'm going to meet Whitebeard now!"
"And bring me that Jerry alive! I'll remember him!"
On Whole Cake Island, Big Mom, one of the Four Emperors, stared at the screen, where Jerry's face had dominated the broadcast. Her face twisted in fury.
With a single slap, she shattered the screen before her, ignoring the ruined hall. Saliva dripped from her mouth as she recalled the food Klee had given to Whitebeard. Her hunger surged uncontrollably.
"Bring it to me! I want to eat that!!!"
With a furious roar, Big Mom's appetite consumed her mind. The cake she had just eaten was rapidly digested by her twisting stomach.
"Quick, brothers! Mother's eating disorder is acting up!"
A group hurriedly carried a delectable cake through the ruins, placing it before Big Mom. A purple-haired young man with an unusual hairstyle shouted, "Mother, this is the most delicious cake today, one you've never tasted before!"
"Cake?!"
Drooling uncontrollably, Big Mom's massive hand grabbed the cake, shoving it into her mouth.
"A brand-new flavor. Smoothie, prepare the ship and bring me my Den Den Mushi to contact Kaido."
"Yes, Mother."
Relieved, Charlotte Smoothie quickly replied and left to prepare.
At the border of the New World and the first half of the Grand Line, two massive pirate ships faced off.
Two intense waves of Conqueror's Haki clashed between the ships, shaking the vast sea. A massive crack split the sky, growing with each collision.
Amid the gusting wind, Shanks' red hair danced wildly. His muscular figure stood tall, and his cape fluttered in the wind. Holding the famous sword Gryphon, Shanks locked eyes with the towering Kaido on the opposing ship.
"Kaido, do me a favor and turn back."
His bold voice carried on the wind, and Shanks' Conqueror's Haki surged even higher.
The overwhelming pressure emanated from Shanks as he stood at the bow of his ship, shaking the space itself. The clashing waves of Haki finally revealed a victor.
As crew members collapsed, Kaido, holding a sake gourd, lowered it. Picking up his spiked kanabo, Kaido's muscles tensed.
"Captain, a call from Big Mom."
A figure cloaked in black flames with massive wings appeared beside Kaido, holding a Den Den Mushi. The Beast Pirates' All-Star, King, blocked Kaido's move.
"Big Mom?"
Looking at the Den Den Mushi showing Big Mom's face, Kaido dropped the kanabo. Sitting cross-legged, he shouted into the receiver, "What do you want, Linlin? I was about to fight Red-Haired!"
"Kaido! Wait for me. I'm heading to Marineford too!"
Big Mom's face on the Den Den Mushi burned with obsession. "I must have that jerky Klee gave Whitebeard! Don't you dare scare that little one off before I get there!"
Resting his chin on his hand, Kaido glanced at the Red-Haired Pirates before sighing. "Fine, Linlin."
Throwing the Den Den Mushi back to King, Kaido uncorked his sake gourd and resumed drinking.
On the Red-Haired Pirates' ship, Shanks breathed a sigh of relief, seeing Kaido sit down.
Turning to his crew, he grinned, "See? I told you my reputation still works! Hahaha."
"Is that so?"
A gray-haired man smoking quietly behind Shanks replied, "Then when Big Mom and Kaido team up, we'll count on your reputation again."
Shanks' smile froze. "Big Mom is coming too?!"
At Marine Headquarters, a soldier reported the latest developments.
Wiping sweat from his brow, the soldier left as Sengoku signaled him to go.
Gazing at the sea, Sengoku turned back to the battlefield and muttered, "The Four Emperors are converging."
