Chereads / Genshin impact: I have chat Group / Chapter 60 - Chapter 60

Chapter 60 - Chapter 60

Today, in the vast underground cavern of Disboard, known as Dysboth, a peaceful scene unfolded.

Fields of crops flourished under the gentle streams of water, tended to by hardworking women and children whose faces beamed with happiness. Luminous stones embedded in the rocks glowed with various colors, lighting up the cavern.

In one of the converted cave rooms, Schwi curiously leaned toward Riku, scanning him intensely.

A faint blue light emanated from the device on the right side of her forehead. Schwi gazed at Riku, who was looking emotionally at the wall in front of them, and spoke flatly, "Light detection failed. No blue panels found. Beginning spatial analysis, anomaly detection, and energy fluctuation analysis."

"Results: No anomalies detected."

"Riku, Schwi couldn't find this 'chat group' that you mentioned."

Schwi blinked her eyes, her face pressed close to Riku's as she explained, "There are no unusual mental fluctuations or anomalies. Your body has no unusual signs either. The possibility of Riku being controlled is excluded."

"Ah!"

"Schwi, why are you so close?!"

Riku, who had been engrossed in examining the Fate Instance of the chat group, was startled out of his reverie. He found Schwi's face right up against his, and remembering his ongoing plans to propose, he couldn't help but be taken aback.

He quickly leaned his head back, looking away. Riku blushed and stammered, "This chat group can connect with other worlds, so it's normal if Schwi can't detect it."

"Hmm..."

Schwi pouted in dissatisfaction, and her expression returned to calm. She reached out with both hands, firmly turning Riku's face back to her. Staring into his eyes, she asked, "Riku, you aren't lying to Schwi, are you?"

"No, definitely not."

Seeing Schwi's adorable face, Riku's gaze started to waver. The scene from the Fate Instance, where he proposed to Schwi, kept replaying in his mind. He had already started planning for this in the past, and now, knowing how things turned out, Riku's heart began to entertain a bold idea.

'Why not propose right now?!'

"Hmm."

Seeing Riku's flushed face, Schwi let go of his face and turned around, her back to him. She answered softly, "Schwi believes in Riku."

Pssst.

A small puff of white vapor was released from the device on the right side of Schwi's head.

Riku, who had been just about ready to propose right then and there, saw Schwi standing with her back to him, cooling down. The words he had almost spoken were stuck in his throat.

Standing gently, Riku leaned down and hugged Schwi from behind.

Seeing her face flushed, emitting faint steam from her head, Riku showed a tender smile.

"Schwi, I'm going to win this game, win it beautifully. And then I'll be with you, forever!"

"Riku~"

As if the circuits in her brain had short-circuited, Schwi felt a surge of heat in her power core, and a series of red alarms went off in her mind. She searched through the vast information stored in her database, yet couldn't find a suitable response to Riku's words. For some reason, Schwi felt that she should know how to answer him, even though her data had no records for this.

Despite the uncertainty, Schwi opened her mouth and spoke, following the instinct that had risen along with the overheat of her power core.

"Riku, for the rest of our days, please take care of me!"

"Yeah."

Riku held her small body closer, whispering, "Yeah, Schwi. Together, we'll create a happy future."

"Riku..."

"Hmm?"

"You were proposing to Schwi just now, weren't you?"

"Idiot, don't say it so loudly, I'm embarrassed. But yes, I was proposing to Schwi."

"Hmm, Schwi is very happy. Riku chose Schwi."

"I'm also happy, Schwi accepted me."

"By the way, Riku, Coroné has been watching us from behind this whole time."

"Huh?!"

With a smirk, Coroné closed the door that she had cracked open, disappearing from sight, leaving Riku with a face red as a beet. Her voice, carrying a teasing tone, echoed in the closed room.

"Take your time, Riku. And remember, Schwi is still young, so be gentle."

"Aaaah!"

"Riku..."

Schwi tugged on Riku, who was shouting in embarrassment, and said quietly, "But, Schwi is an Ex-Machina, without reproductive capabilities. Is that okay for Riku?"

"Of course!"

Riku gently rubbed Schwi's head, replying casually, "I love you for who you are, Schwi. Even if it means being a virgin for life, I don't care."

"Riku..."

Touched, Schwi took the initiative to hug Riku.

"Schwi's power core feels so warm. Is this what having a heart feels like?"

Embracing Schwi, Riku felt the warmth of her presence. He closed his eyes, feeling at peace in his heart.

'As long as I can be with Schwi, I'm satisfied. This is enough.'

'But, since there's a chat group that connects different worlds, maybe one day, it can help solve Schwi's problem too.'

"Schwi, in the coming days, I'll be traveling to another world."

Riku whispered his plans into Schwi's ear, sharing the upcoming steps he'd take. With the insights from the Fate Instance, he had devised a plan to grow stronger—even if it didn't mean reaching the level of the gods, any chance to increase their odds couldn't be wasted.

Especially since everyone in the chat group was genuinely helping him, Riku couldn't afford to let them down.

"Hmm, Schwi understands."

"I'll write out the plans later. Schwi, I need your help to prepare everything. I'll also discuss our next steps with Coroné."

"Hmm."

Holding Schwi even closer, Riku envisioned the future he desired, the one shown in the Fate Instance. With determination in his heart, he declared, "Wait for me. I'll win. I'll keep you safe."

In the room later, Coroné held Schwi's hand and smiled, waving goodbye to Riku.

"Although I don't know what you mean by 'another world,' Riku, if you must go, Schwi and our people will be taken care of. Don't worry. Just move forward, and your big sister will support you from behind. With all the supplies you've left us, and Schwi's help, we'll be just fine."

"Yeah, be safe. I'm heading out."

Capturing their figures one last time in his memory, Riku activated the portal to the other world. A flash of white light, and his figure vanished from the room.

"No space fluctuations, energy fluctuations, or anomalies detected. Unable to analyze."

A series of mechanical phrases came from Schwi's mouth as she stared blankly at Coroné. "Results unknown."

Teyvat Continent

Once again, an otherworldly visitor arrived, yet the overseers of Teyvat remained unable to detect any information hidden by the chat group's concealment. So, for Teyvat, today was just another peaceful day.

When Riku opened his eyes, he found that there were already many familiar figures around him.

A pale hand reached out to him, and Hiroshi smiled, saying, "Welcome to Teyvat, Mondstadt welcomes you, Riku!"

Taking the offered hand, Riku looked up at the azure sky, the scent of grass and flowers carried by the gentle breeze.

"I hope that my world can have such a sky one day too."

"It will. Isn't that the reason you've come here?"

Giving Riku a warm hug, Hiroshi looked at the others gathered around, smiling.

"Everyone's here to make sure you get to see that sky yourself."

"So, are you ready, Riku?"

"Next comes some enjoyable monster-hunting and rapid magic training!"

"I'd expect nothing less!"
