Chapter 214 - Chapter 214

At the entrance of the Knights of Favonius, a heavy atmosphere lingered.

Klee's small body froze as she stared at the despairing Mona, who had collapsed to her knees. Panicked, Klee exclaimed, "Klee didn't know Sister Mona wanted what was inside the box!"

Shaking her head rapidly, Klee ran up to Mona and sincerely apologized. "I'm so sorry, Sister Mona! Klee really didn't know you wanted the things inside the box!"

"It's okay, Klee," Mona replied weakly. "It's my own fault. I should've realized something when I saw that handwriting in the notebook."

Hugging her legs, Mona murmured, "My master told me not to look at the '50-Year Promise.' Turns out it's just her embarrassing old secrets. Now I'm doomed. She'll tear me apart when I return."

Klee tightened her fists, tears forming in her eyes. "Sister Mona, you can punish Klee. Klee will write a self-reflection letter!"

"No need, Klee," Mona sighed, lowering her head further.

Paimon's eyes lit up. "Mona, why don't you just hide the fact that you looked at it? Your master doesn't need to know!"

"Impossible," Mona muttered. "Astrologists can see through fate. Lies are useless against her. I'm finished..."

Hugging her knees tighter, Mona tilted her head to the sky with a bitter laugh. "At least the last thing I see is such a beautiful sky. If only it were nighttime with stars, I'd die without regrets."

"Mona, don't give up so easily!" Lumine grabbed Mona by the shoulders and pulled her face closer. "You're still alive and kicking! Why not settle down in Mondstadt if you can't go back?"

Mona's eyes briefly brightened before dimming again. "That won't work. I don't have a single Mora. No money for food or shelter. I'll end up starving to death."

"Hey!" Paimon stomped her foot mid-air, hands on her hips. "You're the great astrologist Mona! Can't you earn money with your astrology skills?"

"No," Mona said with a deadpan expression. "Astrology reveals the miracles of fate. It's priceless and cannot be used for financial gain."

Paimon let out an exasperated groan, stomping the air harder. "Lumine, what do we do?"

Lumine sighed, rubbing her temples. Her gaze wandered as she searched for a solution. Having just spent her Mora on renovating her courtyard in Liyue, she was as broke as Mona, often relying on meals at Yuehai Pavilion or Keqing's generosity.

"Oh!" Lumine's eyes lit up. She clenched her fist and snapped her fingers. "I know someone who can help. Wait a moment."

She quickly opened her chat group and messaged Hiroshi.

Lumine: Hiroshi, come to the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt. There's an emergency that needs your help!

Hiroshi: ???

Lumine: It's complicated. Just get here quickly!

Hiroshi: Alright.

A crack appeared in the space at the Knights' entrance. Holding a bowl of breakfast, Hiroshi stepped out, chewing on his food. He glanced at the despairing Mona and the teary-eyed Klee hugging his leg.

"What's going on?" Hiroshi asked after swallowing his food.

"Brother Hiroshi!" Klee clung to him, quickly explaining everything with Paimon chiming in.

Hiroshi listened, nodding occasionally. When they finished, he sighed. "So, Mona didn't explain clearly, Klee took the items from the box, and now Mona's stuck here with no money and no way to return to Liyue."

Handing his bowl to Paimon, Hiroshi turned to Mona. "Miss Mona, follow me. I'll help you sort this out."

Mona stared at him in disbelief before scrambling to her feet and following. "Wait! Really?"

Hiroshi nodded and led her toward the Adventurers' Guild. "Come on. Let's get this resolved."

The Adventurers' Guild bustled with activity as morning adventurers filled the hall. Carrying the now cheerful Klee, Hiroshi entered with Lumine, Paimon, and Mona.

"Hehe. I, Fischl, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, have foreseen the shadows of calamity looming over Teyvat. These fiends from the abyss will infiltrate Mondstadt," Fischl declared dramatically to Katheryne, her arms crossed and a confident smile on her face.

Ozs fluttered beside her, adding, "The young mistress sensed an ill omen during her patrols. Though unclear, it would be wise to remain vigilant, Miss Katheryne."

"Thank you for the warning, Miss Fischl," Katheryne replied with a polite bow. She glanced at Fischl's flushed face and smiled. "I will remain cautious."

"Your Honorary Knight friend, Hiroshi, seems to be looking for you," Katheryne added.

"What?!" Fischl spun around, spotting Hiroshi waving at her. Her face lit up with joy. Straightening her posture, she addressed Katheryne, "The Prinzessin der Verurteilung has spoken. Call upon me if fate brings peril beyond your strength."

With those words, Fischl turned and ran toward Hiroshi.

"Hiroshi! Is there something you need?" she asked, her tone brimming with excitement.

Clearing his throat, Hiroshi replied, "Fischl, I need your help with something. Let's work together on this."

Straightening up, Fischl raised her hand dramatically. "As the Prinzessin der Verurteilung, I shall lend my divine judgment to aid your cause!"
