Chapter 198 - Chapter 198

At the entrance of the enormous cave, Klee and Qiqi ran out quickly, their small figures dashing into the open air. Klee's head darted from side to side, her big eyes lighting up as she suddenly pulled Qiqi toward a nearby cliff.

"Brother Hiroshi, come quickly! Klee found something delicious!"

Klee's excited voice echoed across the mountains, carried by the wind. Holding Kuroneko's hand, Hiroshi hurried to the edge of the cliff where Klee and Qiqi had disappeared. Below, on a platform not far down, Klee and Qiqi were joyfully circling around a frozen wild boar.

Smiling slightly, Hiroshi held Kuroneko's hand tightly and leaped down to the platform.

With a soft thud, the snow scattered lightly as Hiroshi landed and quickly approached Klee and Qiqi.

"Hehe, Brother Hiroshi," Klee said, grabbing his hand. She bounced on her feet, her face lit with excitement. "This is the big boar Xiangling made for us last time! It was so tasty—Klee still remembers it!"

"Yes, it was," Hiroshi agreed, patting Klee's head affectionately. "This is a great discovery."

With a smile, Hiroshi swiftly stored the frozen wild boars into his storage dimension. Watching as the wild boars thawed and started running around joyously, Hiroshi wore a warm smile.

Turning to Klee, Kuroneko, and Qiqi, who looked on curiously, he said, "We'll enjoy some of them for lunch, and over time, they'll reproduce. When they've multiplied enough, we can host a feast for everyone."

"Brother Hiroshi!"

Klee's voice called out again from a nearby cave entrance. She peeked into the dark cave, waving her hands excitedly at the group.

With a slight smirk, Hiroshi quickly walked over to her side. Peering into the cave, he saw a massive wild boar sleeping inside. Licking his lips, he murmured, "This one looks delicious."

Stopping Klee from throwing a bouncing bomb, Hiroshi whispered, "Let's not scare it off. We'll sneak in quietly."

"If we keep it in my dimension, it can produce lots of little boars. Then we'll always have plenty of tasty pork."

"Oh~!" Klee's eyes sparkled as she quickly stowed away her bouncing bomb. She turned to Kuroneko and Qiqi, pressing a finger to her lips. "Shh, Sister Qiqi, Sister Kuroneko. Be quiet; Klee is going to sneak up and catch the big boar."

Walking on tiptoe, Klee crept into the cave. Carefully maneuvering around the giant wild boar, she covered her mouth to suppress her giggles and positioned herself behind it. Turning back to wave at the group, Klee stretched out her small hands.

"Heave-ho!"

With a tiny shout, she grabbed the boar's massive leg and hurled it toward the cave entrance. Startled awake, the boar's bewildered eyes locked onto Hiroshi—the same human who had knocked it unconscious before.

With a pained squeal, the boar attempted to cry out, but Hiroshi's fist swiftly found its familiar target. With a dull thud, the massive boar slumped over, tears streaming from its eyes. Hiroshi chuckled as he tossed the unconscious creature into his dimension, where it joined the other wild boars roaming a vast grassy plain.

"Hehe," Klee giggled as she ran out of the cave. Seeing Hiroshi had secured the giant boar, she beamed happily. "Brother Hiroshi, can Klee eat the big boar for lunch?"

Her starry eyes sparkled with anticipation, and a little drool trickled from the corner of her mouth.

"Nope."

Hiroshi laughed, ruffling her hair. "The big boar needs to stay in my dimension to raise lots of little boars. That way, Klee will have plenty of tasty wild boar to eat in the future."

"Oh~!"

Nodding enthusiastically, Klee's eyes glimmered. "Klee understands now!"

"Hehe~"

Humming happily, she swayed her head side to side, muttering, "Big boars will have lots of little boars~ Little boars will grow into big boars~ Big boars will become tasty, yummy big boars~ And then Klee will gobble them up!"

Giggling with her eyes closed, Klee covered her mouth, laughing to herself like she'd just sneaked a sweet treat.

"Klee… little sister."

Squatting beside her, Qiqi reached out and gently patted Klee. A faint smile appeared on her face as she said softly, "Klee happy… Qiqi happy too."

"Sister Qiqi!~"

Throwing her arms around Qiqi, Klee exclaimed, "I like you the most!"

Resting her head on Hiroshi's shoulder, Kuroneko murmured, "Hiroshi, I love this world."

"Because it has you and everyone else in it."

"Me too."

Holding Kuroneko's hand tightly, Hiroshi smiled. "I feel the same way."

Under the afternoon sun, the group gathered again as they prepared to leave. At the Dragonspine camp, Hiroshi busily placed freshly cooked dishes on the table, made from the day's discoveries.

In the soft light, a delicious aroma filled the air. Eula rejoined the team after escorting captured Fatui back to Mondstadt. Her next task was to continue providing protection for Albedo and the others.

Clumsily picking up a slice of meat with chopsticks, Eula placed it in her mouth. The unparalleled flavor blossomed across her palate, bringing a faint trace of emotion to her eyes. She whispered, "It suddenly feels like all the hardships I endured were worth it."

Reaching for another piece of meat, Eula smiled as she placed it in her mouth.

Nearby, Albedo watched as Klee happily devoured her food. With a soft chuckle, he placed a piece of meat from his chopsticks into Klee's bowl.

"Eat slowly, Klee. Don't choke."

"Thank you, Brother Albedo!"

Klee's sauce-stained face lit up as she grinned at Albedo before diving back into her meal.

"Hiroshi, is this the wild boar from Dragonspine—the one that supposedly went extinct a century ago because it was too delicious?"

Holding a slice of meat to the light, Albedo examined its marbled texture carefully.

"Yes," Hiroshi replied, setting down a plate of braised pork and sitting down to eat.

"I should propose to Acting Grand Master Jean that we gather and breed some of these in Dragonspine," Albedo said thoughtfully. "It could become another key industry for Mondstadt, alongside our wine. Besides, Klee seems to love it."

Hiroshi shook his head with a smile. "Dragonspine likely doesn't have any left."

"But I'm friends with Diona and Draff from Springvale. I'll send them a few pairs to breed."

Leisurely moments like these were fleeting. After lunch, the group began their journey back to Mondstadt. Hiroshi led Kuroneko, Klee, and Qiqi as they returned home together.
