Chapter 3 - Death

On that day, the sky was a haunting purple, streaked with clouds of gray,

But beneath me, the floor was stained with the crimson of my blood.

An eerie mismatch for this gray, somber day.

As the rain fell harder, my thoughts flowed like an unstoppable spring,

While my heartbeat slowed, signaling the end was near.

Why now, am I flooded with memories of a life I can never live again?

I recall my plans, my dreams, and the way I lived—a life marred by mistakes I can't undo.

As my breath grew still, my vision blurred,

Fading into the encompassing darkness of death,

A concept I had never truly considered in my short existence—

A life I can never reclaim.
