I get to the head of the table and drop the food in front of Martin, I turn to go but I feel someone holding my hands and the electricity charge that follows fills me up, I turn back and catch a glimpse of Martin hurriedly dropping his hands." aren't you going to eat with us" Martin asks , I know he just wanted to rile me because I've never eaten with them , " no Martin , I quite like it at the kitchen, thank you" I said and hurriedly left for the kitchen , I was almost done serving and ready to leave for school cause I didn't have an appetite to eat when Martin's new girl walked up to me and poured her glass of orange juice down my cloth, I had never been bullied before, people tend to ignore me but I couldn't quickly access the situation when I felt another glass of chilled orange juice down my clothes , this one was from the beta's son mate." oh sorry , I wasn't feeling up to it so I decided to dispose the drink in a trash can " Martin's girl said and everyone started laughing, I ran out of the pack house straight home, I cried so much I had to use make up after my bath to cover up the pains of yesterday and today , I hurriedly dressed and ran all the way back to school barely missing the closing doors, I walked into homeroom and all eyes turned to me " I'm not as lucky as I thought then " I mummured as the teacher turned to face me " miss Jackson, next time could you do us the honour of gracing us with your presence earlier than this " Mr Rex asked " I'm sorry sir I was held back by ...," that's enough, go to your sit " I walk to my seat and prepare for the worse to come.
Weeks go by as days I barely noticed , I was the school newest dummy, Martin and his friends pick on me consistently no matter how hard I try to hide from them.
I was walking down the hall when I bumped Into someone and I desperately prayed it wasn't one of Martin's friends, I was waiting for the insulting harsh voice but instead I get hit with this amazing angelic voice .
" are u okay , I'm sorry " angelic voice said, I don't remember the last time someone was nice to me, they couldn't bully me but they could laugh and they never failed to do just that. I look up and I see the clearest green eyes I've ever seen , like newly budding flowers, I stumble back and detach myself, my brain taking over .
" uhmmmmm yes I am , I just need to get my books I say hesitantly, he bends and helps me to gather my books which is so weird , since Martin rejected me even Sam and zana had stopped talking to me , they were mated after all,this was the first time someone in school was showing me genuine care or maybe genuine care .I was still hesitant about people because my last experience with a "friend " isn't something I would like to repeat ,. " here , again I'm really sorry" angelic voice continued and as I couldn't take it anymore I asked the one question on my mind " did he send you to do this because I'm not falling for it another time " I say angelic voice slightly bent his head and asked " who" I instantly knew it wasn't fake but I knew if he spent a week here he would have a change of heart so I asked him " are you new here" ." yes actually my family just got into town"
I sighed when I realized he was human , making friends with him would be dangerous especially with the fact that he was weak and Martin didn't want me to have company of any kind , I didn't know if it was part of his bullying scheme but it worked , I was rejected two months ago and I haven't talked to my age mate in that long , I sigh again and turned to leave but he held me back and at that moment Martin walked in and saw him holding me , I saw rage flash through his face but it was gone so fast I wondered if I just imagined it.
I don't know if Martin still cared about me at all but I didn't want the one person in the entire school who is speaking to me to get hurt.
