Chereads / Arecus Amberion / Chapter 4 - paradise final half

Chapter 4 - paradise final half

Arecus tried to punch him but a tree grew up from the ground taking the damage.

Naur with a twisted smile, his voice dripping with menace. "I will make your worst nightmares become reality."

Arecus slashed through the tree with a swift stroke of his sword, using the momentum to launch himself into the air. Mid-flight, he swung his blade toward Naur with deadly precision.

But before he could strike, Naur raised a hand, and a powerful gust of wind erupted from his palm, hurling Arecus backward with tremendous force.

Arecus watched from a distance, as Naur joined both of his hands. In an instant, a bright white light formed around him, like a gateway opening to another realm. The winds picked up with a deafening howl, and the skies darkened as a thunderstorm began to rage overhead. Lightning crackled, splitting the sky as if nature itself had bent to Naur's will.

"What the heck is he doing?" said Arecus, landing on his feet.

Naur, laughed maniacally, basking in the chaos he had wrought. The bright light continued to crackle and spark, and they saw a shadow of a man approaching them from it.

Dead can never come back, that's the rule of nature, but Naur held Librian.

Lukus, the only other person known to face Amberian and survive, was killed 800 years ago by Arecus. He was summoned back from death by Naur.

As his boot touched the ground, the earth seemed to tremble. Each step he took was slow and deliberate, the pressure in the air grew heavier, suffocating everyone around.

So, I'm born again, no... it's more like something brought me here.

As Lukus walked out of the light, his aura poured over the field like an overwhelming wave of terror. Arecus watched from a distance, instinctively pulling Vance closer.

I remember the words of the 'Devil of Addiction'. He was so despised that he was never even given a name. He once said,

"I'm not afraid of the person who won a hundred battles and never seen defeat. It would be fun breaking him down, for the very first time... But facing the person who's lost a thousand and still got back on his feet, scares me….. because even if i defeat him, he will just get back up, like its nothing "

In his final moments, Lyuk looked into his eyes, with a calm smile.

"I love the way you rise… but more I love the way you fall," he said, just before delivering the final blow.

The fallen had risen once again, the God of Pain and Suffering was no longer shackled by his grave.

Lukus stretched out his arms and took in his surroundings with satisfaction watching the destroyed buildings, like a predator surveying his kingdom. "So, humans," he said, his voice deep and booming, "your god has returned."

Arecus wasted no time. He grabbed Vance by the arm and made it to the top of a nearby building, to put distance between them and the monstrous being now standing before them.

"Running, Arecus?" Naur mocked, his laughter piercing the tense air. "Are you scared? You should be! Feel that fear. It's only natur—"

Lukus's expression darkened. Without even looking, he raised a hand

His voice was cold, like the grave. "Stop shouting."

Before anyone could react, Lukus swung his fist with devastating speed. His punch connected with Naur's chest, the impact creating a shockwave that rippled through the air. Naur's eyes widened in pure shock, his body convulsing from the sheer force.

*CRACK!*

In an instant, the naur's body crumbled, reduced to a sickening mush. Flesh, bones, and blood exploded in all directions, splattering the ground with the remnants of his once-proud form. His laughter died with him, replaced by an eerie silence as his remains pooled at Lukus's feet.

"That fucking bastard, but it doesn't matters, I will just regenerate once again.... it doesn't matters if it takes me days years or even decades, I will get back up...."

His mind wandered back to that day, the day Zexus descended onto his planet. The memory of Naur kneeling before him burned like a band in his soul.

"You're nothing special," Zexus sneered. "You just got lucky, that's all."

It took Naur three long years to fully regenerate after that encounter.

Naur snapped back in the moment

"I am not special huh?" He smiled, his voice calm and composed "Motherfucker, even you weren't able to kill me, no matter how long it takes I have always gotten back up.... Yeah that's right, I will get back up once again and kill them all, doesn't matter how many times I have to die or be reborn..... I AM GOING TO KILL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE BASTARDS" He said, his voice menacing

In the moment images of his family flashed before his eyes, each face twisting into accusations.

"This is all your fault!" he snarled, his voice breaking and filled with frustration. "You didn't believe me, but I was right! I was RIGHT! You were all wrong!"

Does that really matter?

Tears started to appear in his eyes

He screamed and shouted, his voice raw with pain and desperation

"I was just a child… but you all abandoned me." Naur's voice trembled, yet the weight of his pain filled the silence. "I just wanted to live… to be with you all. To wander the forests with my siblings. To stay by your side, Mother. But instead… When I needed you all the most, you all treated me like I was some kind of monster, like I didn't belong. Is this…..is this what's family for?"

Tearing through the air like a wounded beast, His fists slammed against the earth over and over, each blow a futile attempt to release the agony surging inside him. Tears carved trails down his face, his body trembling.

But after what felt like an eternity, the cries faded. His hands stilled. His breathing slowed, ragged gasps turning into shallow breaths. Slowly, his face emptied of emotion, a hollow emptiness replacing the storm that had consumed him.

"I... I'm done with all this," he whispered, the words carrying a broken finality.

He turned his eyes towards Lukus,

.....

The air grew heavier as a thick mist swirled around them, veiling everything in pale gray. Naur slowly shifted his gaze toward the hazy figures of his family. They stood there, watching him, their faces obscured yet hauntingly familiar.

"I don't want to go with you," he said, his voice cold and final. Without another glance, he turned his back to them and began walking away, his figure swallowed by the mist.

But then, a voice broke the suffocating silence, low and chilling.

"But you murdered us all… brother."

The words hit him like a dagger, cutting through the fog and straight into his chest. He froze mid-step, his breath caught, as the voice echoed from behind him. But without looking back, he started moving in the abyss, alone….. just like he had been his entire life.

Naur tried to bring his family back.... but maybe he was scared to face them. But one thing was for sure, he loved his family deeply that he remembered them all even after this time

But in the end…. he was just a kid who wanted to be loved, who just happen to get unlucky

And the only person who he thought would understand him (Arecus) was long gone

Lukus stared down at the remains of the Naur, the mess staining the ground beneath his feet. His expression was one of disgust, mixed with faint amusement. "Is this the one who summoned me again?" He tilted his head, his eyes narrowing as he examined the blood-streaked ground. "It seems to me like he possessed Librian."

Meanwhile, Arecus and Vance stood atop a distant building, watching from afar. The overwhelming pressure from Lukus's aura made the air thick, and Vance, even though way less experienced than Arecus, could heavily feel the threat in the pit of his stomach.

"Who the heck is that guy?" Vance asked, his voice uneasy as he tried to comprehend the scene below.

"I have no idea," Arecus replied, eyes fixed on Lukus. "But he isn't a good news, that much I'm sure of."

As they continued watching, their hearts beating fast, something shifted. In the blink of an eye, Lukus vanished from sight. Arecus's heart skipped a beat. His instincts kicked in immediately, and he looked up—Lukus was standing right in front of them on the rooftop.

His arrival was so sudden, so seamless, that the very air seemed to bow to his presence. Arecus froze, his eyes carefully scanning Lukus, trying to calculate what to do next. The sheer intensity of his power was undeniable, but Arecus knew he had to stay calm.

Vance, on the other hand, acted purely on impulse. Without a second thought, he lunged forward, raising his fist in a desperate attempt to strike. "Take this!" he yelled, charging at Lukus with all his strength.

He really thought he could take on a fucking god after hitting that brand ambassador of LGBTQ once or twice

But before Vance could even get close, Lukus moved with blinding speed. He grabbed Vance's arm mid-swing, and with a sickening crack, shattered it in an instant. Vance's scream echoed through the night as his arm snapped like a twig, leaving him defenseless. Lukus then followed up with a devastating kick, sending Vance's body flying. The impact was so severe, it tore part of his body apart, leaving him broken and barely clinging to life as he fell down from the building.

Arecus watched as Vance's body flew through the air, sent crashing off the roof with terrifying force. Time seemed to slow as Vance's mangled form descended toward the ground below, limp and broken.

"What was he thinking, attacking like that?" Arecus thought.

Arecus jumped from that building, he knelt beside Vance's body and pulled out the yellow fruit from his pocket. Crushing it in his hand, he tossed the remnants onto Vance. Without wasting a moment, he got to the top of another building, locking his eyes on Lukus, who stood silently on a distant rooftop.

"Who is this guy...?" Arecus murmured, glancing at Lukus, "Naur isn't regenerating... no way this guy killed him with a single blow. A grin spread across his face. "Looks like it's about to get fun." His gaze sharpened, ready for the challenge ahead.

Lukus kept his gaze locked on Arceus. In the very next instant, he leaped from the building toward Arecus.

As he was about to land on the building where Arecus was standing, Arecus grabbed him mid-air and flung him back, sending him crashing into windows of the building he came from.

Lukus, stood horizontally on the shattered glass looking upwards at Arecus

cold, unblinking stare as he looked up at him from the side of the building. The tension between them grew, the silence almost deafening as both prepared for the next move.Vance watched from the ground, his eyes darting between the two combatants. The sky above Lukus was a brilliant blue, while on Arecus's side, the sky had turned dark, with streaks of red lightning crackling through the air, a tear in space swirling ominously around him.

Lukus leaped toward Arecus and landed a punch square on his face. Arecus didn't flinch, retaliating with a powerful punch to Lukus's torso before stepping back to create some distance.

Lukus charged again, aiming another strike at Arecus's face, but Arecus ducked low and countered with a brutal elbow to Lukus's side. Lukus responded quickly, delivering a fierce kick to Arecus's stomach, sending him skidding backward.

Lukus narrowed his eyes, studying Arecus. Despite Arecus's cold expression, it was clear he was in pain.

Who is this human? Lukus wondered. His energy... everything about him feels like Arecus, but he's not the same. Could he be an inheritor of the inheritor? Could the myths be true...?

Lukus lunged again, aiming a fist at Arecus. But Arecus leaped over him, landing swiftly behind, trying to keep his distance to gauge his opponent.

Lukus glanced down at Naur's remains, his face hidden beneath his armor. The inheritor of Librian is dead… so why am I still here? a sudden realization struck him. He raised his hand, and grass sprouted through the concrete.

"I always wanted to inherit Amberian". He turned toward Arecus and looked at him. "Looks like I'm getting both."

A few vines burst from the ground, twisting and coiling until they formed the shape of a spear in Lukus's hand. Watching this, Arecus calmly opened his hand, the sword forming in his grip.

Lukus twirled his spear for a moment, testing its balance, then lunged at Arecus with a swift strike. Arecus met him head-on, swinging his sword with precision. The blade sliced through the spear with effortless ease, cleaving it in half.

Lukus glanced at the half spear. "Oh, I see…"

Lukus dropped the shattered spear and charged at Arecus with his fists. Arecus swung his sword in a deadly arc, but Lukus was faster. He caught Arecus's wrist mid-swing, stopping the blade in its tracks, and with a sudden twist, he slammed his fist into Arecus's face. The blow sent Arecus stumbling back. The weapon slipped from his grasp, clattering to the ground as Arecus hit the floor hard.

But Arecus didn't stay down for long. He shot back to his feet, fists clenched, ready to continue the fight. Lukus charged again, fists flying, but this time Arecus dodged, sidestepping the assault and landing a solid punch to Lukus's ribs. The impact made Lukus stagger back for a brief moment, but he quickly recovered, his eyes gleaming with fury beneath his armor.

Arecus followed up with a quick jab to Lukus's side. But Lukus retaliated with a savage uppercut, sending Arecus staggering. Before Arecus could fully regain his footing, Lukus slammed his fist into Arecus's chest, the sheer force of it throwing him back. The ground beneath Arecus cracked from the impact, dust rising in the air.

They both lunged at each other again, moving like beasts. Vance, watching from below, was unable to keep up with their blinding speed. One moment, they were fighting on one rooftop, their movements creating shockwaves, and the next, they were on another, their fists and kicks shaking the very buildings they landed on.

Lukus aimed another punch at Arecus's face, but Arecus ducked low, delivering a sharp knee to Lukus's midsection. The hit forced Lukus back, but he quickly retaliated with a vicious kick to Arecus's stomach. Arecus skidded across the rooftop, but he got up again without wasting another second as he got up he saw Lukus's fist coming towards him "you are not the only one, who is getting stronger as the fight is going on" said Lukus, his fist connecting with Arecus's face next moment Arecus kicked Lukus's solar plexus making him fall from the building due to the impact.

Lukus landed gracefully on the ground next to Vance, his feet hitting the earth with a dull thud. Vance's heart pounded in his chest; his pulse racing uncontrollably.

Above them, Arecus was in the air, his sword gleaming in his hand, his eyes locked on Lukus below.

Lukus didn't break his gaze from Arecus, but with a slow, deliberate motion, he extended his hand toward Vance. Without a glance, he commanded, "Bow, mere human."

Vance's body responded instinctively, his knees buckling as he fell into a bow

Lukus raised his hands toward Arecus, and from the ground beneath him, massive pterodactyls emerged, shrieking as they flew up, aiming to attack. But Arecus instantly appeared behind Lukus before the creatures could reach him.

Without looking back Lukus swung the back of his hand with brutal force. The strike hit Arecus hard, sending him stumbling. Before Arecus could recover, Lukus was already upon him, grabbing Arecus by the head and slamming him into the ground with immense strength.

Arecus lay on the ground, his face bleeding, gasping for breath as Lukus stood over him, his figure looming.

"I've faced both Amberian and Arecus before," Lukus said coldly. "None of your moves will surprise me."

Despite the pain, Arecus slowly pushed himself up, blood streaking down his face, but his eyes burning with defiance.

"Is that so, bastard?" Arecus muttered. "But have you faced Jace before?"

With a sudden burst of energy, Arecus threw his sword with deadly precision. The blade pierced through Lukus's arm. In an instant, Arecus closed the gap, slashing his sword through Lukus's neck, decapitating him in one swift, final strike.

Arecus watched as Lukus's headless body remained standing for a brief moment before it slowly collapsed to its knees. The body swayed, blood dripping from the severed neck, but as the torso began to fall forward, Lukus's hand shot out and struck the ground. His body stopped mid-fall.

Arecus stood frozen, eyes wide in disbelief as Lukus's headless body stopped its fall. His shock deepened as the grotesque sight unfolded—slowly, a new head began to form from the neck.

"What the—" Arecus muttered, his voice trailing off as he watched in horror.

Within moments, Lukus's head was fully regenerated. He looked eerily human now, his features flawless, his eyes were dark blue. His expression was calm, a faint smile tugging at his lips, and watching it triggered a rush of flashbacks in Arecus. His breathing quickened, heart pounding in his chest, but he fought to regain control.

"At least he doesn't have that stupid armour on his face now," Arecus growled, trying to shake off the unease.

Armor began to form, covering his face once more, his features vanishing beneath the mask. Now, only the cold, armored visage stared back at Arecus.

"Okay, I am fucked."

Lukus swung his fist with brutal force, aiming straight for Arecus. This time, Arecus didn't flinch. He stood his ground, letting the punch land squarely on his jaw.

"MOTHERFUCKER!" Arecus roared, his voice echoing as the dark black mark on his arm flared to life, glowing a fierce, fiery red. He swung his fist at Lukus.

Lukus watched as his fist came towards him. No way, he is the same....

Fist connected, the impact shattered his armour and sent him crashing to the ground.

Without pause, Arecus followed up with a brutal kick, and another, then another. Lukus struggled under the onslaught, but in a desperate move, he managed to grab Arecus's leg. Undeterred, Arecus slammed his other foot into Lukus, sending him sliding across the ground.

Lukus barely had a moment to recover, blood was flowing out of the cracks in his armour. Arecus lunged, grabbing him by the throat. With immense strength, Arecus lifted him off the ground, dragging him to the top of a nearby building, far from Vance.

Lukus dangled helplessly in midair, Arecus's iron grip crushing his throat. The dark red sky loomed behind them, casting a hellish glow on the scene as Arecus held Lukus suspended.

Suddenly, all of Lukus's wounds healed in an instant, and his shattered armour regenerated as if nothing had happened. Before Arecus could react, Lukus delivered a devastating kick to his chest, sending Arecus crashing to the ground below.

"I won't lose," Arecus groaned through the pain, clutching his ribs. He could feel the intense pain coursing through his body—his ribs might have been broken—but still, he forced himself back to his feet.

Summoning all his strength, Arecus charged toward Lukus, his fist glowing with energy. Lukus met the challenge, raising his own fist to strike. The two moved with the intent to end it, but just as their fists were about to connect—

"Oh no... clotting again?" Arecus gasped. His fist froze mid-air.

But Lukus's fist connected.

The impact was brutal. Arecus was sent flying back, blood pouring from his mouth, his body wracked with pain as he hit the ground hard.

Gritting his teeth, Arecus tried to stand, pushing himself up with trembling arms. But his strength faltered, and all he could manage was to get on his knees, blood dripping onto the cracked earth beneath him.

"I got you on your knees in no time," Lukus said, clenching his fist and towering over Arecus. He glanced down at him with disdain, his voice laced with mockery. "I wonder what he saw in you."

"Shut... up..." Arecus rasped, his voice broken, barely a whisper. His eyes, filled with blood, struggled to focus, and every word was drenched in agony.

Lukus let out a cold, mocking laugh. "Is that so? This is what you get when you go against a god... Foolish human, look at yourself. You look pathetic."

"He must witness this sight... the inheritor of the legendary Arecus, brought to his knees," Lukus said, his voice dripping with arrogance as he looked down at Arecus.

A person or a soul can't exist at two places at one time, it's nature's rule, but Lukus now held Librian, it was possible. He started the ritual…. A magnificent art that even Lyuk, who held the abilities of all 7 entities and beyond that too….. wasn't able to perform.

But however, Lukus attempted to summon Zexus. And Zexus being Zexus, summoning him would have required at least the energy of a star and hence the ritual ended up draining every ounce of his energy, leaving behind nothing but an empty shell of armour. In the end, all that appeared was a fleeting image of Zexus, flickering for barely five seconds before vanishing.

Lukus's half-dead body slumped on his knees at the edge of the building, barely clinging to life. Sensing an opportunity, Arecus gathered every ounce of his remaining strength and launched a punch toward him. 'Who's on their knees now, bastard?' Arecus snarled. Lukus, through blurred vision, saw the fist racing toward him. He's different... but the feeling is the same.

The punch connected with a devastating force, shattering Lukus's body on impact. But the momentum was too much— Arecus's body following the punch's momentum, sending him hurtling off the building.

Arecus plummeted from the building, his vision blurring as he slammed into the ground with a bone-crushing impact. The world around him began to fade, but through the haze, he could make out Vance rushing toward him, panic etched on his face. Vance was shouting something, but Arecus couldn't hear it—everything was muffled, distant. Desperately, Vance glanced around as if searching for something, anything that could help. Arecus's eyelids grew heavier with each passing second until, finally, the darkness claimed him, and his eyes shut.

After some time, Jace slowly opened his eyes. He blinked, confused for a moment, before realizing his body had somehow returned to normal, his strength restored. As he stood up, he noticed Vance nearby, staring intently at a small sapling growing from the ground. Its delicate branches bore tiny glowing yellow fruits, their soft light casting a warm glow on Vance's face.

Jace approached, sensing something was wrong. Vance turned toward him, tears streaming down his cheeks, his eyes filled with grief.

"She's gone... brother," Vance whispered, his voice cracking under the weight of his sorrow. His body trembled, looking frail, as if all his energy had been drained.

Jace looked at him "Let's go home, brother," Jace said softly to Vance.

"Yeah... you're right," Vance replied, his voice trembling with sorrow as he wiped at his eyes, trying to hide the tears forming. His hands shook slightly, betraying the grief he could no longer hold back.

Vance looked down touched his stomach "I'm so hungry right now," he muttered

Jace searched his pocket and pulled a slightly squished chocolate bar from his pocket, realizing he had originally bought it for Zion. "Oh yeah, I bought this for Zion," he thought briefly. Instead, he handed it to Vance. "Here, you can have it."

Vance accepted it, offering a quiet "Thank you" as he glanced at the misshapen bar. His expression softened, lost in thought. "It's the same kind..." he murmured to himself, peeling off the wrapper.

A memory flashed in his mind—when they were kids. Vance was solving a Rubik's cube while Jace watched in awe. Suddenly, Jace came to him crying, frustrated that he couldn't solve the puzzle himself. "I spent two hours trying to teach him," Vance thought, breaking the chocolate in half. "But he never got it... just cried and cried until I gave him my share of the chocolate, telling him, 'Don't cry, Jace. You can have my share too. And that's what made him stop."

Vance passed half of the chocolate to Jace. Jace looked down at the small piece, a nostalgic smile tugging at his face which was covered in dust. He stopped walking, holding the half toward Vance. "Don't cry, dammit. You can have my share too," Jace said with a soft grin.

"Are you sure?" Vance asked, a faint smile breaking through his sadness.

"Yeah, I'm full. I actually ate a lot of that guy to heal myself... and he was pretty tasty too,"

Vance chuckled softly, taking a bite of the chocolate. "Man, I thought I was really gonna die today."

"Me too"

Vance's mood brightened as he placed a reassuring hand on Jace's shoulder. "You know what, bro? Everything's alright. I've got you."

Jace smiled back, the tension easing between them. Together, they walked toward Vance's home, a sense of calm settling in the air.

The next morning, they both planted the sapling in the Garden of Vance's house, the soil fresh and damp under their hands. Vance carefully watered it while Jace stood beside him, watching with mild concern.

"Are you sure this won't end up causing trouble?" Jace asked, his brow furrowed. "What if Naur grows from this?"

Vance chuckled, shaking his head. "Nah, you worry too much." he replied, giving Jace a reassuring grin

The next morning, Jace stood at the door, bag packed and ready to leave. Vance frowned; his voice hesitant. "Are you sure...? You said you'd stay longer, bro."

Jace sighed softly. "I would've loved to, but I have to leave. Some things came up," he replied, regret-lacing his words.

As he walked a few steps away, he stopped and turned back to Vance, pulling out a pink bracelet from his pocket. "I picked this up in the middle of the fight. You can have it," Jace said with a warm smile, handing it to him.

Vance took it, watching as Jace waved goodbye and walked away.

One morning, the three friends reunited at the park. "Welcome back, Jace!" Sara greeted him with a smile.

"Did you bring the chocolate for me?" Zion asked eagerly.

Jace chuckled. "I did buy you chocolate… but I ended up eating it."

Zion's face fell dramatically, and he collapsed onto Sara's shoulder, pretending to sob. "How could you do this to me, bro...?"

Sara gently patted his head. "There, there," she said, pulling out some gum from her pocket. "You can have chewing gum instead. Don't cry."

"Ah man, that was a nice dream," said Amane, stretching his arms out as he sat back in his chair.

Amane glanced over. "It was when we were 18... there was an inheritor of Librian and it was rejector of nature. Arecus and he were fighting like monsters..... But, that can't be right, you know? According to Lyuk, nature isn't a rule—it's more like a guardian entity by God... isn't that, right?"

"Only Lyuk could tell you that much, not me."

Amane chuckled. "By the way, Addiction-kun, when does a man become a monster?"

" When a person is ready to sacrifice anything for what he wants.... he becomes a monster"

"I have never seen a monster in my life time"

"Still can't open your eyes to see yourself, Amane?"

"Nah, I am blind.... you know, things would be much better, only if I was weaker than Lyuk"

There was a long silence as Amane locked eyes on its face, an unreadable expression on his face. After a moment, he leaned in slightly and said, "You know what, Addiction... you're kinda cute"

"Transform into a woman," Amane ordered, his tone cold but casual. He watched as the transformation began, eyeing its new form for a moment before shaking his head. 'Nah, that's not it... Do one thing—transform into Neriya."

A slow smile crept across his face. "Should I call the Angel of Love? Or maybe the Devil of Greed would be better?" Amane's voice growing darker.

"Whoever you wish"

Amane mused aloud, staring up at the ceiling, lost in thought. "Now that I think about it, we know plenty of devils, but only two angels—Love and Lyuk... And was that guy Void an angel too?"

Amane paused, his gaze sharpening as he turned back. His voice was low and commanding. 'Go, take off all your clothes, and lie down on that bed—facing the ceiling,' he ordered, pointing toward the bed with a cold, unwavering finger.

It sat on the edge of the bed, slowly removing its clothes. 'You have a bed in your home, so why do you sleep on the table?' it asked, the question lingering in the air as it continued to undress.

Amane's eyes darkened, his voice colder than before. "You don't get to question me" he replied, the words dripping with quiet menace looking at it.

She laid down on the bed facing the ceiling just as Amane ordered.

Amane got on top of her…... he gave a fleeting glance toward the window, his eyes catching the faint light from outside. For a moment then he looked back down onto her.

"You know what…. The world is so fucked up right now, all thanks to me…..." A smile appeared at Amane's face "And now you are going to get more fucked than the world, that too all thanks to me."

She was staring in his eyes.

"Yesterday you were in so much grief because the world is like this, and it was your fault but now you are enjoying it?"

"It doesn't matter at this moment, does it?"

Amane started to breathe heavily as he pulled himself off her. She stood up from the bed, her gaze steady. "What happened?" she asked.

Amane slapped her—hard. She recoiled but quickly turned her face back to him, defiant. "You knew I had lost control… and you still did exactly what I said,"

"Damn it!" Amane shouted. "You know what would happen if I did that, that corrupted devil would have killed me."

She smiled, an unsettling grin. Amane reached into a drawer, pulling out a cigarette, and lit it with trembling hands. As he took a long drag, his breathing slowed, and a calm settled over him. Smoke curled around him as he exhaled. "We're still slaves to each other, aren't we?" he muttered, more composed now.

With a steady voice, he added, "Get inside me. I might lose control again if I keep seeing a humanoid."

And after one last drag, Amane flicked the cigarette into the trash and stood tall. "Alright, it's time to fix the world."

What's the plan?

Simple as always-kill you, and find Lyuk he said

You've been trying to do that for two years but still no success

Amane stopped, a slow smile forming on his lips."Just Believe in your luck,"

Amane took one step outside. The truth is… I don't want to face this…. I just want to hide somewhere away from all this

He looked at his hand and it was shaking as he kept moving forward, he looked forward at the world
