Leah's POV
That wasn't all, I could vouch for that. His silent treatment towards me must have had a meaning. He had gone inside, and his time inside might have helped him realize that his act against me was too cruel of a treatment.
"I don't believe you when you say 'it's not important'"
"Why wouldn't you?" He asked.
I saw an opportunity to wave off the issue of his seeing me in bed with Amon since he wasn't willing to talk about it. But the guilt of that action had filled me up like a cup that could overflow from the next drop of water that gets into it.
"You saw me with Amon, didn't you?"
He looked away from me. It became obvious that he'd been thinking about it, it has been going over his head, swimming in his thoughts.
"And what would deliberating on that yield?"
"So many things." I held him by his upper arms. "I'm not used to living with guilt."
"It's that so?"
