" Hello I am Saki Himejima and I am glad to be an addition of the prestigious Kuoh High . Please take care of me " Saki said as he gave a short courteous bow. 

There was multiple reactions . Some of the males grinned as they had gotten another person to bully . Saki was a short lad who looked skinny and had an innocent smile. He had black hair and greyish eyes. Overall he was a perfect addition to bully for the macho men who only know how to vent their frustration by making people feel weaker than them . 

The girls too had their own opinion and it was not positive . They had hoped to be graced by handsome guy but instead got an average looking skinny guy . 

The perverted boys too were also angry that they did not get a beautiful girl . But they did celebrate on the account they had less competition.

Saki's smile never escaped his face as he scanned the room . 

' Fuck my life. I just wanted to waste my inheritance drinking and travelling the world and now here I am , stuck with a bunch of assholes ' He thought .

' Nevermind , just gotta act like the annoying overzealous guy and soon no one will disturb me ' He thought. 

" Ah Himejima , are you perhaps related to Akeno ?" The teacher asked.

Suddenly everyone waited for Saki's answer . Noticing the concentrated gazes made him understand that Akeno was popular here .

' Ah , Akeno . I remember her when we were young . Our mothers were pretty close. ' He thought. His mother usually said they were related. 

Saki however did not reveal that information and instead even chose to lie. 

" Akeno Himejima ? I don't think so teacher " He said. The anticipating students slumped back in defeat and boredom. 

" Is that so ? Then kindly go seat next to Katase . Katase kindly raise your hand " 

Katase raised her hand slightly. Her expression was indifferent , she did not mind seating next to him. 

Once he sat down he introduced himself and so did Katase. The rest of the day was boring . This was the first day so no one disturbed him as much and he appreciated it as much .

As he headed home , he made a meaningful eye contact with Issei . It was a short but the intention conveyed was understandable. 

They would not walk or communicate with each other. He walked back home or rather to his adoptive parents home. He reached early enough not to find anyone so he ascended the stairs and into his room . His room was neat and always was. 

He headed to his wardrobe and took out some sport clothes then laid them on his bed. He changed to them and neatly folded his school clothes on top of his bed. He would take them to the laundry basket later. 

' Stats ' He mentally commanded.

Saki had acquired this system yesterday and had spent the whole day studying it . This system could barely be called a system , it had no AI voice or information . The only two functions it had was showing Saki's and only Saki's power level and opening dungeons.

It would be easier even to say it only had one function as checking power levels rhymed with opening dungeons.

He went to the dungeon section .

The first level dungeon required a power level of 8 whereas he was a measly 4. 

' Fortune favours the bold ' He thought as he commanded the system to open the door. 

A portal opened and he stepped into it. 

He suddenly found himself in a dim lit passageway.

From afar he could hear something ahead. 

He approached cautiously with his guard up and every sense active . The halls widened the longer he travelled and the light became dimmer. 

The sounds ahead became louder and he could swear he heard some creatures laughing ahead . Suddenly the sounds stopped . This made him more tense . He raised his guard as his eyes scanned his surroundings. 

Suddenly something lunged at him . He could not see it well at such a dim lit place but he could feel the movement and at that moment he dodged on instinct by jumping back. 

Once he regained his bearings , he heard another shriek. 

He ran the opposite direction and he could sense whatever had attacked him was behind him . 

Finally he reached an area where he could see better and he turned the opposite side. 

He soon saw three small goblins running at him while laughing.

" Kekeke " Even their laughs were ugly as them. 

The trio carried small rusty daggers 

The first goblin lunged at him aiming him aiming his dagger at Saki's neck. The goblin was fast but the current Saki full of adrenaline managed to grab the goblins arm and disarm him .

He took the dagger before it fell and stabbed the goblin at the neck . The goblin fell down motionless as blood oozed out of his neck. 

The two goblins remained motionless in shock . They just could not comprehend what happened. But their shock did not last long . 

One of them screamed and the other followed. They jumped at Saki with their daggers. Saki managed to dodge one of them however the other got him by slashing his arm . 

The pain did not come however as his body registered he was in a flight or fight scenario . The goblins coordinated their attacks and forced Saki to be on the defensive. Slowly cuts appeared on his body as the goblins managed to hit him continuously but nothing too deep. 

His strength slowly failed him and he started panting . The goblins reveled in him slowly falling apart.

The goblins attacked once again at a coordinated attack. Saki had to make a split second.

' Fuck this ' He said . He dodged one of the goblins attack and raised his arm to stop the other goblins attack. 

The dagger cut through his flesh and even to his flesh . The goblin was momentarily stunned at this but before it could react Saki raised the dagger on his other hand and with all his might stabbed it at the goblin. 

The goblin fell down like the first with a dagger on its skull. 

Saki panted heavily as he looked at the remaining goblin . The goblin raised its dagger not out of anger but out of fear. It could feel it , something had changed within the human , something hidden within him .

It weighed its option and decided to run off. 

" Oh , it ran off " Saki murmured to himself. 

Suddenly the adrenaline wore off and he felt his body crumble. 

[ Returning back home ]

' Huh ?' 

Suddenly he appeared in his room. 

He looked to the mirror and noticed nothing had changed , he was still injured. 

' So it really is real and everything I experience there comes back here '

Saki wanted to see the books at first but he was incredibly tired and his body was in a deep pain. Blood was dripping on the floor and he had no idea how to get out considering his adoptive parents were now in the house. If they saw him they would coddle him while demanding an explanation that he was too lazy to tell himself. 

He resorted to another option , calling his brother , child of his adoptive parents Issei Hyoudou.

He took the phone on his desk and dialled Issei's number. The phone rung and he could hear it ring on the other side of the wall . Issei was home but he did not pick it up . 

Saki cursed . He could bang the wall but that would cause unwanted attention and he did not want that. 

" Ok as long as they are not upstairs " Saki murmured. 

He opened the door slightly and looked both across the halls. He then dashed to the bathroom hoping to his creator he had not spilled any blood that would be noticed. Once at the bathroom he relaxed and opened the cardboard to take the first aid kit. 

He first washed himself slowly as the blood flowed out of him and then bandaged wherever he was cut. He however left the shallow cuts alone as not to waste what was not his . 

After that he cleaned his torn and bloodied clothes then went to clean his room . The rest of the night he spent overviewing the texts of the books. He had found he could summon them by will. 

After three hours the couple ascended the stairs and went straight to bed . Both he and Issei told them not to disturb them when in their rooms .

Saki studied the texts till he fell asleep on the desk . He was horribly awakened by his alarm clock .

His body pained all over . He stood up from the chair and headed to the mirror to see what he had to hide. Luckily the only thing he couldn't hide was the cut on his left cheek and his bandaged hand to which he could explain by falling down and hurting himself to the point of bandaging. 

He was about to exit but then he noticed the change in his hair. Some parts of it was red not because of his blood but because of heritage. Black hair was not the real color of his hair but rather red . He always dyed it black from a long time ago , this was one of the few things his mother always insisted on . He knew why he had to do it , he learnt that lesson the hard way .

He walked to his cupboard to get the dye agent only to find it was empty.

" Ah ! " He heard a female scream then a bang . 

Saki noted maybe Miki had chanced upon Issei jerking off or something. 

" Saki , may I come in ?" He soon heard a soft voice on the door .

" No , I am in the middle of changing for school. " Saki said. The imperceptible red hair could be ignored for the day . He would pass by the shop to buy the dye. 

He changed to kuoh school uniform and headed down . He found Garou reading a newspaper while Miki set the table. 

" Good morning "

" Ah Saki good morning " Garou said with a smile. 

Miki greeted him too. 

" Please have a sit and eat as much as you want , you look skinny " Miki said.

" Thank you " He said. 

He sat down the mumbled a quick prayer as done in japanese customs then started eating . 

He had noticed an extra set of breakfast but he did not ask . He didn't have the energy for it.

" Oh Saki , why have you bandaged your hand " Miki asked finally noticing.

" Oh , I fell down yesterday . It was a deep cut so I bandaged it " He said.

" Why didn't you tell me ?" Miki asked worriedly. Garou too seemed worried but once he heard the explanation he let it go. To him Saki was mature for his age so he did not worry too much about him to which he sensed Saki appreciated. 

" This is nothing but thank you for worrying for me Mrs Hyoudou " Saki said with a smile. 

Miki calmed down .

" Alright but call me auntie , I don't want this Mrs. Hyoudou nonsense. " Miki said. 

" This .... " Saki wanted to object . He always felt weird saying it

He glanced at Garou with a slight plea for help . Garou looked at him then at Miki . He knew this wasn't the time to anger his wife so he sat on the sidelines

Saki felt the he had been betrayed so he agreed. 

" Alright ummm auntie "

" Good it wasn't that hard right ?" Miki siad. 

Soon they saw two people descend. Issei and Rias 

Garou and Saki were flabbergasted. 

' How the fuck did Issei get a girl ?' Saki thought and he was certain Garou thought the same. 

" Please join us " Miki said ushering the duo.

Once they sat down Garou greeted the duo and Miki started chatting with Rias. Rias stayed respectful all the time 

" If I may ask is that natural Miss ah ... "

" My apologies for not introducing myself sooner , My name is Rias Gremory "

Saki's carefree attitude slipped and a cold scowl . However he quickly acted indifferently before any human could notice but Rias was no ordinary human.

" And yes this is indeed my natural hair " 

" So pretty "

" Thank you Mrs. Hyoudou. "

" It is just like Saki's over here but he always dyes it black , I do not why even when I tell him red will look better on him " Miki innocently said. 

Saki felt like punching Miki to quiet down but he couldn't even if they were alone. He respected the Hyoudou's a lot except for Issei. But even then there was a time he respected him too. 

" Really ?" 

" Yeah , Saki here always dyes his hair black . By the way you two do look alike " Issei said as he looked at both of them. 

Saki had just had enough . 

" I'll be heading to school " He said then he walked off . 

No one stopped him and Miki suddenly realized he had spoken too much . Saki hated that hair colour and she knew it. The only one that was vaguely disturbed was Issei as he couldn't read the room . He thought perhaps Saki was jealous.

Issei had woken up with a beautiful naked girl next to him . The girl stirred up and Issei finally got to see her . It was Rias Gremory , one of the most coveted girl in school next to him . 

" Good morning Issei " Rias said. 

Issei blushed. 

" Good morning " 

The rest of the morning was like a dream to him . The Rias Gremory was with him with him !

Saki arrived at the school early and then headed to the roof . He needed some time to cool off. 

' Rias Gremory , is she really perhaps related to Zoeticus Gremory ?' Saki thought. 

He did not want to believe it . He hoped that whatever he had experienced was just a nightmare but now it seems that those nightmares were taking physical form.

Saki watched as Rias and Issei walked into the school hand in hand . Issei had a goofy grin while the school erupted clamouring to see this . 

A thought appeared in Saki . 

" Perhaps "

A grin spread across his face and unknowingly his eyes glowed red. 

" I get to kill my dear father " 

The gods had smiled upon him and given him a second chance , a second chance that he would treasure . His offering to the said gods would be the head of Zoeticus Gremory.
